You should come back soon and see Cornwall. St Ives, Porthcurno, Kynance Cove etc have some of the most beautiful beaches. White sand, the bluest seas that you’ll think you’re in the Bahamas and you get to try Cornish Pasties and Cornish cream teas with strawberry jam and clotted cream, just don’t go during British school holidays because it will be so busy.

As someone who has to go to Glasgow several times a year on business I personally cant wait to get out of the place, I agree with you about Edinburgh, but I would rather go there than Glasgow any day, not a nice place. Sorry guys. Miss out the cities and go to the highlands there the people are mostly very kind, warm and welcoming. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. but next time spend a couple of days in your first place to recover jet lag and not wear yourselves out.

Bear in mind, that the amount of things you did and how you did it in your short visit is something that NO British person would do in their own country. I've done my share of visits to other countries and aware that you can pick up a lot of the vibes of a place in a short time. Maybe you would like to stick in one place another time and get to know somewhere in more depth. I am a member of a Twinning Association which is linked to a similar area in France and (before Covid and Brexit) we would swap visits to and from the French members, who have become our friends. It's been a great experience.

Thank you Joel and Will for sharing your vlogs and experiences of your visit to the UK, it was fun to watch each day. You crammed so much into your adventure maximising every minute but may be at a cost to feeling exhausted as each day went on. Perhaps next time if you can spend a little longer and may be slow the pace so you can not only get a flavour of a place but the feel and not have that stress of am I going to get the next train or be at the accommodation in time etc. Ireland sounds like a good idea, but don't forget Wales too!! Don't give up on Scotland, put your experience to bed so to speak and try may be a Scottish Isle such as Skye. As you say there are good connections at reasonable prices from Ireland to the mainland UK (John Lennon Airport, Liverpool have regular and affordable flights). Liverpool is accessible to lots of places such as North Wales, Manchester, up to the Lakes via Preston etc. Now you have started your travels keep on spreading those wings Joel and Will too...if you liked The Lake District I'm sure you would love places like Norway, Sweden, Austria...the world is your oyster!

could do this Joel: Stay in Dublin for a couple of nights, head North to Northern Ireland where Game of Thrones was filmed, check that out, then head to Belfast(where Titanic was built) check that city out, stay a night, then you can get a Ferry from there to Scotland(takes roughly 2.5 hours on the ferry), head up to Glasgow from there, couple of nights there. Train on down to Manchester, great city with great night life, could even attend a football game while you're there(Manchester Utd or Manchester City) and then after a night or so there, head to the North of Wales which is stunning, spectacular views, you also have the main city Cardiff in the south of Wales and the city of Liverpool in England which isn't far from North Wales, you can also get a Ferry from Holyhead at the North of Wales back to Dublin which is overnight on the ferry I think, that way you can fly back home from Dublin rather than Fly home from London or Manchester. 8-10 days would make that kinda trip achievable.

Look it up as well as places on its route like Corfe castle, old harry rocks, warbarrow bay, Durdle door (you may recognise as its well photographed), stair hole, golden cap, isle of purbeck.
