I have been waiting for every one of your daily UK travel videos to drop on RUclips with excitement. But this one is the absolute best. I’m originally from New Zealand but have lived in London for 19 years. Your natural interaction with these two fab blokes and sense of humour makes you such a pleasure and a laugh to listen to. I really hope you enjoyed your trip and come back to the UK for a longer trip next time. There is still so much for you to see. And Will is doing a cracking job of filming too. You make a brilliant team.
There’s an app for your phone called RadioGarden that lets you listen to radio stations all over the world. My friend in Washington state actually told me about it a few years ago and I definitely enjoy it. So if you are ever someplace where you can’t easily access this station here the US, if you have that app you’ll be able to access it from your phone. It’s really easy to use. You can either use the globe and move it to the city you want to get a list of stations from or you can just type in the name of the station in the search bar. Once you find the station, just hit the play button and you are listening to the station. You did a great job being interviewed! You’re quite good at being in media! Very charming, charismatic, and personable! Everyone looks like they were having fun! Several years ago when I was volunteering with a nonprofit community organization I had to do some media interviews with newspapers, radio stations, and public access television and I definitely don’t think I was as calm as you appeared to be. I definitely felt waaaaaayyyy outside my element. Although that could also be because the other people who were supposed to be with me weren’t able to make it so I was unprepared to do it all on my own. I give you kudos for doing such a fantastic job!
Honestly Joel, I subscribed to your channel a few months ago (the 55 year old fart from London) and all I can say is I hope you realise what a lovely, lovely family you have. I find what they did not remotely embarrassing; it’s actually charming and they clearly care. I’m also so impressed with your relationship with your brother. Glad you’re enjoying Britain!
Was really sorry you had a bad experience or two in Scotland. I can promise you that I've never EVER heard of a perception that Scottish people don't like Americans like that guy told you, you just happened upon a guy having a bad night there! Hopefully you can come back and we can set the record straight! Really enjoyed your vlogs so far.
My sister moved up to Lanark from Kent a few years ago and has said that some of the worst people she has ever met are the Scots but conversely also some of the nicest...I believe that a lot of Scots don't like Americans because of Trump, he bought up a lot of land for his golf course and made his usual false promises to the local people about helping the economy and was very underhand towards those who didn't want to move from the area...so I think the Scots feelings are more political than personal..beautiful country scenic side though..😊
Let's not forget that these young guys were probably out talking to people their own age, drunk. The scottish guy that told them this, was probably a 19 yo student taking the piss out of them, to freak them out. You live and learn.
That was absolutely delightful, Joel! I only wish that we could have seen Will’s expressions throughout the segment!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great job, guys. You’ve brought a great deal of light and joy into this world with your expedition to the United Kingdom!

That was so funny Joel, well done!
😂😂😂 awww Joel, a pleasure to have you in Yorkshire, have a great trip home 😁😁😁
It's never difficult to distinguish between a Scotsman and a ray of sunshine. Wha's like us eh?
I'll second that mate, slightly ashamed that these boys had a bad experience with people.
Let's not forget that these young guys were probably out talking to people their own age, drunk. The scottish guy that told them this, was probably a 19 yo student taking the piss out of them, to freak them out. You live and learn.
@@lynnhamps7052 they do really hate Trump All his neighbours fly Mexican flags when he is at his Golf Course there.
Excellent, you did well lad. 🙂✌️
Thanks 😁
Could listen to your voice all day! You’re a naturally on the radio
That was absolutely delightful, Joel! I only wish that we could have seen Will’s expressions throughout the segment!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great job, guys. You’ve brought a great deal of light and joy into this world with your expedition to the United Kingdom!
Joel that was fantastic, you are so natural on radio, well done. I’m so pleased you have enjoyed your visit to the UK. As an Ambassador for the US you are a star and represent your home wonderfully well. Credit to you and Will. I love your channel, safe journey home. 👍👍
I loved that. Looked so much fun. The DJ seemed very charismatic. Both Wayne and Dave in fact.
As for your Yorkshire accent .. less said about that the better haha!
Joel, I’ve been watching you pretty much from the beginning. I love your reactions, the way you embrace our food, culture, music etc. I’m so happy that you came to the UK and saw a glimpse of our beautiful country.
You really are a natural for radio although with your lovely smile maybe tv would be better 🤔
Obviously yours and Will’s easy nature has lead you to people willing to show you around and take you under their wing a little. We would’ve too if we’d known you were going to stay in Morton in Marsh as we live quite nearby. My husband was a bus driver so he knows the Cotswolds well and was always advising tourists where to go. Maybe next time?
Looking forward to your last vlog. Have loved your mini series. Much love❣️
You and your mates have a bright future ahead of you. Enjoyed watching your adventure. Safe return home. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Have absolutely LOVED your UK vlogs Joel; you and Will are total LEGENDS! Safe journey home!!!!!!

Congrats Joel. You conducted yourself very well indeed.
Except in Scotland .
I used to work in commercial radio a very long time ago and truthfully, Joel I'm seriously impressed. Well done, you did a really good job there.
"Joel, have you changed your underpants?" Your mum didn't miss, haha!!!🤣
What a way to round off your trip, I hope Will and you will return again very soon. Thank you for sharing your trip with us, I feel like I been on the journey with you both.
If I can paraphrase the Buggles song, The RUclips star killed it with the radio star. A really confident appearance there Joel You got your message over really clearly, even against the presenter's steamroller presentation.
The last post coming up from the epic first JP trip, I'll have to rewatch them all again. Really hope you had a a great time over here and will be back again sometime.
Thanks for visiting the UK...Who needs other travel tv, vlogs & radio.. You're all hits with us Brits 👋😁👍

Great stuff Joel. Have enjoyed your videos for a long time and especially those made here. Sorry to see you go home but hope to see you here in the UK again some time soon and perhaps to stay a little longer and to see a lot more that the UK can offer. I hope you have liked every moment that you have been here as you seem to be an anglophile. All the best for the future.
Good stuff, the radio guys made you very welcome and you looked like you really enjoyed the experience. It was win-win, good content for them and good content for you!
Man! So chuffed, that was v good, you’re a natural. sad you didn’t make it to wales but a room for you and will if you ever do. And tap into the real country, not tourist stuff. Keep being you, you’re a top fella 😉
That was comedy gold, well played sir. I know York and the unique Yorkshire humour. You held your own, brilliant.
This reminds me of my mum. She stopped my school bus that was taking myself and my class swimming lessons. She stood next to the driver and announced to EVERYONE i didn't have any knickers ( was already wearing my swimming costume under my dress) and then proceeded to hurl a Tesco's bag at me with knickers in. Thanks mum 🤨😳🥺
😂😂😂
Cringe moment.
Oh god! You brought back memories of me just starting primary school, at 4, and my mum who was busy in our shop, hadn't finished dressing me..the car turned up and I said nothing, but told the boy sitting behind me, I hadn't got any knickers on!..
That is soooo funny 😄
@@margaretflounders8510 The things we remember when really young 😂😂😂
That was awesome! love to see more vids of you having conversations with Brits!😊
Well handled on-the-spot responses, Joel! Entertaining as always.
Joel if you ever need a job you are a natural radio presenter, very funny and entertaining. Have a safe journey home and it was a real pleasure to have you and Will visit us in the UK.
You handled that very well. 👍
