As someone who owns a Desire Driver, I must point out the two things TJ got wrong:
1: The button to rotate the driver should be on top
2: Boost time is the special ability of the boost buckle and can be activated in any configuration/combo; To activate Boost Time, one must twist the handle 2+times and let boosts sounds finish. If you activate a second Buckle before the sounds for boost finish, the normal attack will play instead of boost time (as seen at 15:30 - 15:47).
It is on the top I think he just has it upside down In the video and didn't realize

Dont follow KR super close but i catch what i can, i can say this is probably one of the coolest concepts and rider designs ive ever seen, super well done.
Interesting to see the sounds are actually different without an ID core. I don't think any of the reviews I saw so far touch on that.
Something to clarify is that while Geats' Magnum Boost announcement is indeed unique in that no other goes "Get ready for", the big buckles do at least have a non-generic sound with boost, where it goes "*big buckle* and Boost" with a longer musical sting for the other buckle. Still, hurts playability a bit for me, as I would expect a season focused on a large group of riders to put less preference on one.
There actually is a way to replicated how they do on the show without modifying the magnum raise Buckle. Just rotate the chamber once, and then push the trigger.
Actually, you can get the “boost time“ sound out of any combination of raise buckles with boost.

heck, you can get "Boost Time" using Boost on it's own. Still a basic strike tho.
The more you buy, the more it enhances each part....It's the mugenbine of rider gimmicks!
Well, sort of. Zombie DOES have a different sound when paired with Boost... It just doesn't have a special announcement like Magnum does
You don't really need to wait for 3D printing for the insignias, I've seen resin casts of those looking really well, it's honestly kinda fun on play value too to be able to make one so easily
Doesn't help that we literally have none of the other ID cores. Just Geats and Buffa for whatever reason. Packing Tycoon's in with the Ninja buckle should've been a piece of cake, but nope. It was just the buckle.
@@chadderbug7587 Even so, just make a silicone mold of one, then cast it with semi clear resin and put some stickers on it and there you have it, the cores are really easy to reproduce and have no inner components, so you can just make as many as you want.
I would really love a 3-D printed version of the rider ID core, so that way I could put the Hayden reviews/Kamen Rider Saber Dragon Lion Alangina Channel logo on it.
Resin casting might be a cheaper and easier alternative in this case.

I feel like Geats is taking its Toy line very seriously compared to other seasons.
For one, there's not a lot of stuff to get for main show items so far. Just the main 4 buckles, the 3 weapons, and the 2 extra buckle packs. The rest is legend rider stuff by the looks of it. Definitely going for quality over quantity so far.
Now to see if Emgo will try to up the "Item used for Rider belt reviews" game.
It is wild how it took Kamen Rider so long to just make belt buckles the collectibles.
It's so good to see you reviewing a belt again, but I would absolutely donate in some way if you could review the CSM Agito Altering. I'd love to hear your opinions and your detailed review on it someday because your review for the CSM DecaDriver was a fantastic update to the older DX video. Since you did the Altering for Rider Belt Week, I'd kill for a comparison and review!!

Very enjoyable and desirable video
Along with Fourze, build and Zi-O playability, I also see W, with the two different colors on the left and the right sides creating different form changes. Also, I can see 2 things happening here, one, also a reference to W and Build, would be a form that is Boost/Boost, and Magnum Magnum. And the other would also be a reference to Fourze with one thing splitting into two and going on both sides of the driver.
The last belt you properly reviewed if I'm correct was the Gamer Driver I think
So this is a long time coming honestly
I was wondering how they got the magatama effect going on. Interesting that it's not unique to each buckle but more a thing that Boost and Magnum share, but fair's fair it's still a really cool effect. Thanks for showcasing this belt TJ, and have a great day.
I've ordered everything I could that uses buckles or functions as one, like the Spider Phone. I'm not even a Kamen Rider fan. Looks fun to play with.
As you were listing off potential Upgrades, Power Ups, complete buckles and so forth dont forget the possible Buckle sets that are based on the previous Riders Like something for OOOs, Kabuto, Zi-O and so forth so many possibilities can come from this belt and if we still had Sentai and Rider team ups/specials/Vs or Crossover movies then there could've been a chance for Don Brothers/Super Sentai style buckles for Geats and Geats/Kamen Rider Avataro Gears for Don Brothers as well. The Desire Driver an amazing belt that can hold so many possibilities if they keep on doing things right with this belt
I am very excited to have this as my first rider belt. TJ is right about the rabbit hole cause i want to get nearly everything from this line. Can anyone speak for the sound quality on the belts or whether the noise they make is adjustable somehow?

Okay, so, I might be wrong, but I think the button for the belt to rotate is supposed to be on the top. I could be wrong, I don't own the belt, but I'm pretty sure on the show the button is on the top. Again, I could be wrong
Doesn't Zombie have a slightly different jingle when you use it with Boost? Not to mention how Boost actually says "And Boost" when used with it, which is pretty unique.
Yeah, When used with the other large buckles, boost improves their sounds. Zombie’s sounds are more complete statements instead of just words, for example. Ninja does the same, but I can’t tell the proper difference yet.
By the looks of it, yea. Boost pretty much combos with everything even if there's not much of a change between all of them. Of course, using it with Magnum is the proper way to use it though.
I feel like it's worth mentioning, as a standalone purchase, just how much VALUE you get out of this, compared to other Drivers. Yeah, they oversell it a bit, the 10 forms, but Magnum has it's own transformation jingle, Boost has it's own transformation, Hammer's is generic, but it still counts on it's own, and of course BoostMagnum. That's FOUR unique transformations, out of the box, compared to the other Reiwa Belts, which only have the base form if you just get the bare bones set.
Also, I've never doubled up on gimmick purchases, but the allure of having two identical halves for an aesthetically cohesive Driver is a dangerous one. If the bigger buckles didn't retail for like $30-$40 a pop, I may have gone for a second Ninja, for instance.

Correction: Boost Time can be used in any formation, either on its own or with any combination so long as it involves Boost. Cranking twice without being interrupted by the other Buckle can access Boost Time, but once accessed, the next trigger from any Buckle can activate the Grand attack
On a different note, are you planning on getting doubles of the main RCF figures? I mean, only Geats, Tycoon and Buffa Set, and Na-Go and Punkjack Set? Buy only singles of the power-up forms though. And how will you review them all?
Skipped Ex-Aid, Build, Zi-O, Zero-One, Saber & Revice I see... :P
Although I would love rider belts reviews on one you yet to review like blade. Gaim and the ones between ghost and geats. Maybe another rider week or marathon?
