MY Model was slightly different, but this guide really helped me fix a similar latch issue. My microwave is 9 years old and is working perfectly, now after this simple hack. The plastic that was holding the tension spring on the interior part door broke off. They should make that clumsy plastic part as a metal part for longevity.
Just the help I needed even though mine was a different model, lots of things are the same!!! Thanks loads!!!!
My model also slightly different but pretty much same process. My replacement handle was metal instead of the original plastic and slightly different look. The color matched perfectly and bolt pattern was the same. It needed just a touch of massaging, but well worth $20 off of the Jungle site. The metal handle was a big improvement.

The door on my microwave isn't opening. Is the spring replacement a fix for that or is this something internal to the oven body, not door?
