Great instructions. Now a tip for people thinking of replacing the handle, don't replace it. They are 200 bucks and will just break again. Use this video to remove the old handle and just open from the bottom of the door

Thank you so much for this!! I had to remove my brand-new microwave's handle today to recover a loose screw, and this saved me from having to hire a tech to come out. Kudos!

I ordered my replacement handle and then discovered I didn't know how to access the bottom hidden screw. You saved me a ton of frustration. Thank you very much.

Thanks. I was worried about removing that innermost molding in the door. Mine only had two screws (by the handle) and the rest had to be pried away. It finally began to budge. Then the whole operation was clear sailing from there. Your video was easy to follow step by step!

Okay, that's confirming. I only see two screws and was afraid to keep prying at the molding. Thanks, Arlyn!

This video was the only instruction we received to replace the handle. We had trouble getting the inner door out and back in. The gasket was also troublesome to put back in.

I had our door replaced under warranty. Now the replacement door is doing the same thing after less than a year. A quick google search shows this is a problem with other brands also. I’m looking for a more permanent solution.

Thank you very much for this walkthrough. I repaired the door handle on a Frigidaire fmv152ksa and the only difference in the instructions was that instead of the inner door panel and outer being held together with the 4 screws, on my model it is a series of plastic clips. Thanks again!

Thank you for the video! The lower bolt of the door handle had become loose and was getting worse. With the help of your video, I was able to tighten the bolt as good as new. Thanks again!

My microwave had a little latch piece to pull off before I could take the door off the hinges. I also didn't need to do the last step either as the handle screws were already accessible. Good guide though!

This is my second broken handle on a Frigidaire Microwave that is less than 5 years old! First replaced under warranty. Just the handle alone is $250!! Frigidaire, what happened to quality and engineering! This design SUCKS.
