This aided in opening my entire chest - I have been so tight, lost my mom last month and have been holding in my breath it seems. I have asthma so this truly was needed. Thank you
I am so sorry to hear of your loss Carol and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help in any way. Thank you for sharing your practice and your experience with me today and I wish you a beautiful week ahead. Peace, Aprille

Thank you again Aprille for this wonderful sequence for opening the triple burner as well as the pericardial and lung points in the arms, stomach and chest. Very grateful 🙏🙌 Be blessed 🙌🙏
what a fantastic heart, lung, and pericardium practice! just what we need during these times of covid to maintain a balanced and healthy breathing system! gracias, Aprille! 💚🙏🏼I will definitely be returning to this one!
Thank you for this practice Aprille ❤ I loved the long holds. This is what I am used to in my yin yoga practice and it felt like coming home. My body has been craving that deep movement with all the still meditation I have been immersed in as of late. My battery died on cat pulling its tale so I got an extra long hold there! 😂 Thank you again, Melissa
Melissa, thank you for joining me - I too love the longer holds to really settle into my breath! Hopefully your Cat Pulling Its Tail evened out 😉. Have a beautiful weekend! 🌈
It is one of your older videos, and it aged very well :-) It is quite a holistic practice and one of the first I did after returning from two weeks of travelling, which was very exciting and fun but doing Yoga was unfortunately hardly possible during the trip. Really enjoyed the extra-long duration of the poses. Wish you a wonderful week!
Thank you, Aprille, just what I needed today. I was suprised at how much tension was in my arms and hands, or the pericardium meridian. At one point my hands began to shake and tremble, and then they let go and were so relaxed. LOL! Doing your yin practices several times a week, I have stopped going to the acupuncturist. Many blessings to you, and deep gratitude.
You are very welcome and thank you for joining me! I know exactly what you mean - there is more tension here than I often think there is. So glad you enjoyed this practice and are enjoying others as well! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Peace, Aprille
Still releasing these meridians❤. Thanks so much for the special class🙏🏽. One of my best yoga investments is your channel…..and a super nice Oakworks neck bolster used throughout this and other classes.☺️
Thank you so much for this sequence Aprille. I feel very naive about the pericardium and the various meridians. I'm always grateful when you explain during a pose how it benefits us and if applicable what the health/medical benefits are. Thank you so much for your guidance and wisdom. Peace and Namaste 🧘🏾♀️🙏🏽
You are welcome Jenny! Thank you for joining me today and have a wonderful week! (P.S. you can checkout more on meridians through Between Heaven & Earth - a great book to explore more). Peace, Aprille
That first stretch gives me the relief that I have been trying to achieve through various Yang practices and massage therapists for years. Amazing! Thank you, Aprille
So glad you enjoyed it Simone and thank you for sharing your time with me today. Thank you and I wish you a wonderful and peaceful week too! Namaste, Aprille 💖🙏
This is the first time I’ve practiced this video and it was exactly what I needed today...I’m recovering from Covid and my blood pressure is a little high, this calmedOpened and lengthemefz...thank you
Thank you so much! what a fantastic session. I had such a bad headache before the session afterward I was headache free!! I feel amazing! Thank you so much, Aprille! Def. will be returning to this one.
I feel so lucky to have discovered Yin Yoga and all your routines make me feel relaxed yet energised. After this routine I just feel amazing. Thank you.

"If you find you came into this and you're thinking you maybe should not have..." This makes me crack up every time!! Thank you, Aprille, you are such a gift!
I used to take yoga classes where I would get into a pose and think - I really should have taken a less edgy version of this for my own good (my ego used to get the best of me a lot I think). My thought - maybe someone else faces this too? : ) Thanks for joining me and have a GREAT day! Peace, Aprille
Oh my Aprille, you had me at Hello! This was perfection. I felt myself opening up and sinking deeper and deeper into my mat with every pose. Absolute bliss. Sending you peace, aroha (love) and light. Namaste
Wonderful Caron and I am so happy to hear you enjoyed this practice so much! Thank you for sharing your time on the mat with me and have a wonderful day. Peace, Aprille
thank you Aprille this practice is just what the doctor ordered. I usually practice kundalini yoga at this time in the day but I needed this today. I hope are alright you had some kind of news that did not sound good. take care
Thank you so much, this is one of my favorites. Exactly what I needed. Feel like it got all my main trouble areas. It is crazy before I found Yin Yoga and your channel my heart area was surrounded by what felt like Thick Coal making it difficult to breathe and function. In the short period of time I started doing the Yin Yoga, the healing has exponentially increased to where now, the heart is almost free again.... I send you deep deep gratitude for your assistance. AND for making this specific video, which is PERFECT!!!!
I do have a question/comment it seems because I have focused so much on this area, I can breathe deeper into the front of my body again, however, I have lots of pressure in the jaw and third eye area now, so there is a over stimulation or imbalance now. The only time they are not stimulated further is when I did the stretches like Seal/Sphynx chest drop or anything where my stomach was facing the ground. Front body openings cause tension, back body no... Have you ever experienced anything like this?
You are so very welcome and I am glad Yin Yoga has been such a wonderful healing practice for you. Thank you for the suggestion - I truly enjoyed planning and recording this video and I feel it is my favorite now too! Thank you for practicing with me!
I will be uploading a Yin Yoga for Insomnia & Sleeplessness this Friday which has lots of 3rd eye focus to quiet and balance this area. Try it and see if it helps. This time of year, many things in the upper body get out of balance. I find seasonal imbalances occur but with the right combination of practices, they can rebalance. Using a block under your third eye to support your head and/or spending longer hold times in Child's pose with block or forehead resting on the floor is very helpful.
Thanks its a very good yin yoga challenge and i feel great no stiffness or anything and now i feel like i can do a 10k thanks very much and God bless you💪
I love this practice, aprille... First time i did it i had very bad focus, but with u i ve learnt to pay attention to my breathing &be patient with the asanas... Thanks a ton⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡🌈💖
You are very welcome and I am glad the practices help each time! Thank you for being a part of this community and for joining me online. Have a wonderful day and I hope you feel much, much better! Peace, Aprille
I feel amazing Aprille! I had so much tension in my upper body from physical and emotional issues. At the end when I did the deep breath release it wasn't choppy at all...I will definitely incorporate more of your yin videos into my routine. 🙏❤️
This was surprisingly hard but has become one of my favourites! I have noticed that in Seal Pose I need to engage the buttocks to prevent pain in lower back. I feel open and so so relaxed now. Thank you Aprille.
It's definitely a strong class but the heart opening is SO nice! Definitely engage if your lower back feels off or you can put a folded towel or blanket under your hips to take some of the bend out so you can release comfortably. Thank you for joining me today and I wish you a wonderful day! Peace & Namaste, Aprille 🙏🙂🌛
You're so welcome! This is such a tense area of the body to work with but some lovely to open up the heart space and breathe deeply afterwards. Thank you for joining me Petra and have a wonderful day. Peace, Aprille
So happy you enjoyed this! I hope everything is going well for you these days and thank you for being so supportive and taking a moment to comment! Have a wonderful week Kathy! Peace, Aprille 🙏💖
Welcome Leslie and thank you so very much for joining me for this practice! Please let me know if you have any questions I can answer or suggestions for practices. Wishing you a wonderful day! Peace, Aprille
Amazing!! Reset for the mind and body. Really enjoy practices with you, thank you. Your quiet nature, gentleness is refreshing. :) This experience is like going to a spa.
Thank you! You are so kind : ) I am glad you enjoyed this practice - it's probably my favorite so far. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to practice with you again very soon!
I really enjoyed this class and my dog Samantha had decided to spend some time with me while I was doing this class. I was able to keep myself centered on your class eventhough she wanted my attention. Thanks so much, Aprille for such a relaxing class. Linda
Yoga with pets is a unique experience and I think pets often help us relax a bit more deeply (even if they are attention demanding). Thank you for your kind words and I hope both you and Samantha enjoyed a nice restful day afterwards! Have a lovely day and I hope your garden is doing well! Peace, Aprille
I am preparing my vegetable and flower beds for the winter. I will get my second truck load of cow manure this morning from a beef farmer. I will plant my garlic this week before the winter frost . Your class yesterday was great release for my shoulders . I will do a shoulder release class this morning. Linda
That’s a lot of gardening! Have you ever tried planting mushrooms to let them turn into compost? If so, could you share ideas? I usually use other things but someone suggested mushrooms 🍄. Enjoy your planting....I am headed out to plant garlic next week as we have a lot of time before the frost still.
I will add that to my list. I would also suggest working with the digestion practices I have listed as that will be directly related to acid reflux (any Spleen/Stomach meridian class could help here too). Thanks for joining me - Peace, Aprille
@@YogaRangerStudio oh I see! For some reason I thought the digestion list was more about gut health issues (which I also have lol) than acid reflux. Thank you :)
So happy you enjoyed this practice Ilana and thank you for sharing your time with me on the mat again today. Wishing you the very best - Peace, Aprille
Thank you for practicing with me and I am glad they relax you! Any Yin practice with the "heart" meridian in it will affect the small intestines as the two meridians have similar junctures and are often paired together (Yin/Yang organ systems). Here are a few more "heart" meridian classes for you to try and I will be uploading a summer Yin class soon that will focus on this area as well : ) Yin Yoga for the Front Body bit.ly/2lPkZEN Yin Yoga for Heart/Lung Meridians bit.ly/2mxJISn Peace & Namaste, Aprille
Thank you for your elaborate response :) May you please also tell me if pericardium meridian is linked with htroat chakra? wich meridians work more on this chakra? I also just saw your new video, I am very impatet to try it! Can yu tell me on which meridians does it work for this grounding feeling? Thank you again and sorry for so much questions !!
oh and I have also worked with you other videos The only probleme is that I have a strong vata consitution so I don't want to work much on lung and large intestine meridians :/ that is why I am searching for a tripple warmer work (gallblader/ pericardiul/ small intestine)
Sonia, a large number of the meridians touch on the Throat Chakra as their lines follow many paths and some branches tend to go up the front or back of the neck. I usually use the Heart/Lung openings to focus on the Throat Chakra for myself and am Vata as well. The only class I have that covers the San Jiao or Triple Burner meridian is this one on Melissa's channel: (this class follows the classic pathways from top to bottom and descends through upper, middle and lower burners). Yin Yoga from Head to Toes ruclips.net/video/4qlc0ug-Ry0/видео.html I will certainly work on another of these as it appears to be one many are interested in. The most recent upload works mostly on the lower body meridians: Liver/Gallbladder, Kidney/Urinary Bladder with some Stomach meridian in there and I use a lot of breath focus and stable 1st chakra poses for grounding. I hope you enjoy it as my Vata constitution really loves this one and it helped settle me greatly! : 0 )
Hi Aprille!! I love your yin yoga routines and was introduced to you through your tmj video, now that my big problem areas (jaw, neck) are improving, I’m trying to work downward because that’s where my pain tends to migrate once things get better. I’m having extreme difficulty doing the quarter dog pose at 26:01 because it feels like my neck muscles are too weak to support the pose. I was wondering if you had any tips or adjustments to make this easier or if I should skip the pose entirely. The latter kind of bums me out because I love the flow of your routines!
Aubrey, I have a few ideas you can try to relieve the neck pressure. You can take a bolster, pillow, or rolled blanket under your forehead to rest on it and sit your hips back a little so they are behind the knees. This will release some pressure. You can also add a bolster or pillows under your chest to take some of the pressure off your neck and lift the tilt. Some people find that putting their hands on blocks and hanging between the arms helps and I find that even a wall where you can avoid the gravitational pull of your head to the floor helps. Try all of these and see which work for you and let me know!
@@YogaRangerStudio Thank you so much Aprille!! Sorry for the delay, but today I was able to do the pose with a bolster under my chest and the end of the bolster pressed against the rotator cuff area of the non-outstretched arm (which was kind of tucked under and palm up near my belly if that makes sense) and my forehead on the floor. I literally felt my entire chest and pecs open up like I’ve never felt before!! Your suggestions are so appreciated because I knew that this pose was what I needed and it was frustrating that I felt too weak to do it. Now I feel empowered to continue my practice and shoot for daily yin engagement-I even made it like 20 minutes further into this video and hope to make it to the end next time. You are a shining star!!
Wonderful and I am so happy this worked for you! It's a great pose and I am excited you found your version for your practice. Thanks for letting me know...
Loved this. Quarter dog (I think that's what you called it) is always a challenge for me, I feel like I'm sliding forward on my arms and head and it doesn't feel so good for my neck and shoulders. Any suggestions? 💖
Thank you for joining me! Take a look at this tutorial to see if it offers any other ideas to help modify it. Quarter dog and Melting Heart are the same pose but varied. I sometimes suggest slipping the hips back a bit further so the pressure isn't so intense on the head and shoulders. ruclips.net/video/R9JB0H9I36E/видео.html Peace, Aprille
This aided in opening my entire chest - I have been so tight, lost my mom last month and have been holding in my breath it seems. I have asthma so this truly was needed. Thank you

So amazing. Thank you
Wonderful to hear and thank you for joining me on the mat!

Delicious
Wonderful to hear Jennifer and thank you for joining me on the mat!
Thank you Aprille. If I may suggest, I'd love to see more videos that help stomache related issues like acid reflux. 💗🙏
Thank you - it was very nice :)
Glad you liked it! Wishing you a wonderful weekend - Peace, Aprille

You are very welcome and thank you for practicing with me today!
I love your videos! I always feel so relaxed after... Thank you so much!!
Please can you make a video for the small intestine meridian?
Thank you for practicing with me and I am glad they relax you! Any Yin practice with the "heart" meridian in it will affect the small intestines as the two meridians have similar junctures and are often paired together (Yin/Yang organ systems). Here are a few more "heart" meridian classes for you to try and I will be uploading a summer Yin class soon that will focus on this area as well : )

Thank you for your elaborate response :)
May you please also tell me if pericardium meridian is linked with htroat chakra? wich meridians work more on this chakra?
I also just saw your new video, I am very impatet to try it! Can yu tell me on which meridians does it work for this grounding feeling? Thank you again and sorry for so much questions !!
oh and I have also worked with you other videos
The only probleme is that I have a strong vata consitution so I don't want to work much on lung and large intestine meridians :/ that is why I am searching for a tripple warmer work (gallblader/ pericardiul/ small intestine)

I will certainly work on another of these as it appears to be one many are interested in.
@@YogaRangerStudio thanks! I left my discoveries in the comments for that video. 😍
