    Many thanks for including some quick notes at the bottom on what you're spraying and what you're doing! For instance, I didn't even realize "Weld through" primer is a type of primer I should be looking for if I am going to be welding on it. For me as the viewer, little details like make the video not only a satisfying compilation of hard work, but also a realistic and approachable tutorial I could follow. Again it's a little detail but I wanted to point it out so that you know some of us appreciate it and find it helpful!

      Hi :) our channel isnt about saving time or selling our services, its about Fabricating an repairing things yourself, the metal i used cost about £7 and i repaired 3 sections with it so a lot cheaper than 3 new pattern panels , we are showing the work and how to do it so it can be done to any car , maybe even a car that the panels are a fortune or even not obtainable :) thank you for your comment :)

Maybe even a shear. 4x8 rolling tool shack table. Push it out the way when done. Time is money But nice shop. 👌 I would need some wheel blocks. Raise that sucker up. Great bit of patchwork. Great work as usual and love the series. Would these patch repairs be prior to the British MOT inspection?

      Hi Linda :) thank you, Iv never used flux core so I wouldn't honestly know but I have seen it used successfully :)

    • @drumtochtyglen
      @drumtochtyglen Год назад +1

      To make as clean a job, flux cored wire needs more skill. If you were underneath the car and the repair is away from peoples vision then OKs. If the repair is seen then the argon mix shield makes it easier to do a cleaner weld. Some mig welders will allow the fitting of the gas gear which will add say £120 to buy a bottle plus the first fill and a regulator. Some MIg welders are pure gasless and you cannot convert them to allow the gas bits.

    • @royster3345

      @@drumtochtyglen would it make much difference flux core or gas as it was ground off anyway.

    • @drumtochtyglen
      @drumtochtyglen Год назад

      @@royster3345 The few cars I have seen that were welded with a "Gasless MIG" after you as you say " you have ground then down", the welds did not get a smooth surface as there was areas that did not get a similar thickness of weld laid down. My welding efforts with Argon mix are less than wonderful, and I need all the help that I can get, That is why I say it is OK for unseen areas. I friend who had a gasless MIG for many years, for his 65th birthday I got him a Clarke 151 and all the gas kit. He loves it for inside the shed welding. Now if you are welding outside on a day with some wind a gas MIG you in reality are back with a gasless outfit as the Argon is blown away.
