My husband did it...he was prediabetic for over a decade...he went into the diabetic range and didn't want to do medication, plus he had low iron which made the diabetic result void. He cut out sweets and ate low carb...lunch was a big salad with low carb veggies and protein...he was already drinking sugar free drinks although infrequently vs sugared beverages...he lost about 50 pounds and has continued to be 'normal' for over a decade.

I definitely changed my diet! The standard diet that a "normal" person eats will shorten most of their lives. These foods and techniques that you listed in this video are basically how I got myself back on the road to good health. Several times I tried going back to a normal American diet and the results were disastrous. Changing your eating lifestyle results in good health in all aspects. Your videos are always entertaining and helpful. I look forward to each new release! Keep it up, Kait!

I've always been told what symptoms to look for. Feeling weak, tired, feeling weird after eating. No matter how much, what or when. Frequent urination, thirsty all the time. Those have always been symptoms of prediabetes for years and years.

    • @giorgioarmani1234

I had prediabetes, a lot of physical and mental exhaustion, frequent peeing, zero hunger.
What caused this for me was too much sleep.
never sleep more than necessary. This slowly destroys the pancreas.

Doctors might not have time to share diet, preventive advice, but there's no excuse for not handing patients information in a written format,e informing diet etc that can reverse pre- diabetic symptoms. To often a prescription is the easy method when alternative health care can be more effective and should be advised.

I have to cut down on bad carbs and walk 45 minutes after each meal to help the sugar get absorbed by the muscles. So it keeps blood sugar levels down. Good luck with everything!

For me too! It's amazing how many doctors have no idea what insulin resistance is, they think it's a pathology instead of the body's natural respons to toxic levels of glucose. Sigh..

@@BrandiXo If beef and beef fat were bad, there would be a shitload of sick animals in the wild, not the case at all, severely limit carbs, eat a few carbs or none at the end of the meal, I eat a few to stay on the plan
