Enhance embodies the series of activities that are planned with the sole idea of enhancing the quality of design among the practicing architects. Through various means like talk sessions, discussions, design presentations etc the activities classified under are planned with the primary purpose of broadening the design perspective by increasing exposure to quality works , different perspectives and varied styles practiced by different architects/design professionals/experts.
Karl Damschen is an architect working in Switzerland and mainly in Kerala, India. His buildings are based on the climatic, historical and socio-cultural conditions of the place. He was influenced by its rich culture of India and introduced carefully selected ornamentation into his architecture. All his projects are planned as an architectural unit that includes the interior and landscape design to ensure overall homogeneity. Karl off-late has been a regular collaborator with Ar. Krishnan Varma of Meister Varma Architects and often conveys their ideas through sketches, drawings and mock-ups rather than the ones made digitally and walk-throughs.
