I am knowing these texts from Heiner Müller. I'm German. When beeing consciousness with all this historic desasters and family-history, it is not easy to swallow this song.

Thank you for the hint with Helnwein, i was already wondering about the picture but Helnwein makes sense. (just googled it while writing, just to make sure..🙄😉) Schwarzenegger also has a painting; saw the dokumentary some years ago. .... PS: not everthing is genius, i agree.😎

Eine Anmerkung zu historischen Quellen: Irre ich mich, oder wurde folgende Frage noch nicht beantwortet: Woher kommt das Vorbild für Helnweins Bild? Es findet sich zum Beispiel im Cigarettenbilder-Sammelalbum "Deutschland erwacht!" von 1933. Herausgegeben vom Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Altona-Bahrenfeld. Dort steht es im Kapitel "Das Braune Haus", Seite 44. Es zeigt also keine "München brewery". Der Verweis auf Heiner Müllers "Wir sind das Volk" ist bereits erfolgt. Aber, wer ist eigentlich auf dem Bild zu sehen? Adolf Hitler kommt in der Helnwein-Version nicht vor. Jedoch im Original im Sammelalbum schon. Anhand der Kragenspiegel dürfte es sich um einen Besuch des SA-Sturms 101 aus Berlin-Wedding in München im Kasino des Braunen Hauses gehandelt haben. Anführer war zu dieser Zeit Hans Georg Gewehr. Interessante Biografie.

Non ho ancora nessun'idea se questa nuova musical abbia qualche cosa da fare con gli anni trenta/ quaranta, ma questa canzone mi ha fatto piangere. Come finlandese so che durante la guerra contro l'Unione Sovietica abbiamo ricevuto "appoggio" ufficiale solo dalla Germania ed l'Italia.

Ich höre seit einiger Zeit Laibach und liebe sie. Ich weiß, dass es Laibach schon länger als Rammstein gibt. Aber kann es sein, dass Rammstein von Laibach etwas "abgekupfert" hat? Ich erkenne Ähnlichkeiten.
Heard that Laibach have had a lot of influence on them but not sure. Anyway the are 10 years or more on stage than Rammstain, which I am fan of as well

would it be possible to upload the sermon/speech from your song "America" as a standalone piece? I really like this "We children, we are born in sin" but it is in the middle of the song and the music makes it a bit difficult to understand. It would be awesome if you could make that possible. I have not read translations of Müller's work, but I love Christa Wolf's work. Perhaps Laibach will make an album considering the problems and complexities Wolf presents eloquently - life, friendship, love, disappointment, and fear under various regimes.
