The second one blew me away (literally!)
I was really cool to see two miniature trains fly by this level crossing :D
😂😂😂😂 Can you imagine how pissed off the drivers were when they realized they had to stop for that?
It's so small 😁😂
Theres still some heavy tonnage in that consist.
RIP Headphone users 1:19
The second train coming alarm Sounds awesome!
Yeah its pretty cool, something quite for our crossings in the UK 😉
Love it when the alarm sound changes for a second train. Awesome video.
Yeah. The Second Train alarms are really cool. Thanks!
UK Railway Hub Did the tone rate change because of the second approaching train?
Yes. With level crossings in the UK, the alarm increases in speed when a second train is approaching. It is to warn pedestrians and road users not to cross as the level crossing is remaining closed for another train.
The 2nd crossing alarm like hurry up of Bubble bobble
I find the alarm irritating. There should be no need for it to continue once the barriers are lowered.
What a fabulous crossing id really love to live near that one
Yeah same 😁
Don't we all love narrow gauge railways!
Yep 😁
This seems like a very old and worn down crossing. The red and white border is now orange and white, the lights are halogens and the border paint is faded not to mention the other sound for the second train! Nicely shot!!
Thanks very much. Yeah, all these crossings on the miniature railway line are early 1980s so the lights are at least 30 years old. The barriers & alarms are not as old (installed early 2000s through to 2010).
The second alarm sounds like Knockmoylan level crossing in Kilkenny, Ireland
fully groovy👍🏻
Awesome again. 👍👍👍
Thanks! 😁👍
This is why it's great to live in the uk
Oh yeah, definately 👍👍👌👌
And the second train approaching alarm got a tad overexcited!
Thats so cutee!
As soon as the next train comes the alarm has a stoke lmao
Yeah haha. That's what the alarms do at pretty much all half barrier crossings if a second train is coming.
You know I came here for those halogens and the double pass alarm.
Yeah obviously 😊
cool. a train can come any direction, any time , any where , any way. this in most usa railway rule books . those small trains really go fast.
Yeah they do, I love filming on this railway 😊
nice a mini train ride passing a level crossing
I will film more of this railway soon.
I Subscribed This Channel!
Thank you for Subscribing!
Great video! I've never seen a miniature railway crossing before.
Thanks. This is the longest miniature railway in the UK, and its brilliant than its on my doorstep too. There's 13 level crossings on this line 😄😄😄
UK Level Crossings Channel truly amazing. Where abouts does the line start and Finnish?
I'd love to see this
UK Level Crossings Channel also what did you film this video with? Because the footage is amazingly crystal clear
This video was filmed on my Samsung Galaxy S7 and the railway line runs from Hythe to Dungeness on the Kent coast.
I love the gec elliot wigwags
Yeah they're very old and cool 👍
Yes epic video dude
Thanks 😁
I find it weird that the Amber signal is only as long as the default road traffic signal hold. Hardly seems worth the effort.
Well I guess it acts as a preliminary warning before the red lights start to show just like traffic lights. I wonder if drivers would stop more abruptly if it was only red lights flashing, instead of the amber light beforehand
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel I would order it thus: a period of flashing amber with audio equivalent to a pedestrian traversing the crossing, then straight into red phase with barriers.
Do you get £1000 fine if you walk along the tracks?
If itit's the national railway
Great Content, Keep it UP!!!
Thanks! 😊
these trains see to make good speeds in spite of the rather small track gauge.!
Yeah they do - quite cool 😎
Love it ❤💗💙💗❤
Thanks very much 👍👍
To day on Easter 2018 we went to this crossing and saw the last train and it had only 2 coaches!
Interesting. I never seen a train with only 2 coaches on this line!
What line is this?
Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (RH&DR)
Wow 2 Years Ago
Yeah, time goes quickly. I filmed this over 3 years ago
Good video
Thanks 👍
1:20 You jumped a bit
Who didn't?! The first alarm sounds more gentle and chill then suddenly an ear-splitting frantic shrill yodalarm goes off out of nowhere lol
WHAT'S THE YELLOW LIGHT FOR?? I was in the U.K. and never saw the yellow light flash.
The yellow light on level crossing lights has been in existence since 1968. The 'wigwag' is suppose to look similar to a UK traffic light, with a yellow light and red light.
It should have a FUNCTION rather than just looking like a traffic light, which it does not.
yixnorb it has it warning that light will go red to avoid shadden breaks which is dangerus, it is legal to cross on yellow light same as in traffic light. Germany also have same yellow light in crossing, in fact there lights look like traffic light without green light
yixnorb The yellow light is a warning that the crossing is about to close.
The yellow light is good also since it is brighter than the red lights usually and so draws the road users attention.
its to alert people a train has been detected in the block
Did the trains shrink after being left out in the rain?
They were steam drived.
Sad that Burmarsh Road station is no longer in use
I'm not sure about that tbh - I'm sure I read somewhere it was used for school travel but it's probably not true 🤔
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel I think it did but I heard it stopped doing that in 2015
Ah right fair enough
Wow, at exactly how many places does UK have miniature railways..?
There's loads. Some have level crossings, some don't. Here's an index: www.miniaturerailwayworld.co.uk/indexofminiaturerailways.html
UK Level Crossings Channel and
Where was the driver in the second one????? A Ghost??? xD
I was controlling it with a remote control from the level crossing.
xD
wat
UK Level Crossings Channel ok that is funny but the real awnswer is it's a controlled train controled by a robot
I thought the driver was just sat down in the cab 😂
Cool video! :) I really enjoy your content! :)
Thank you Ryan. Glad you enjoy my videos! C: (:

京成電鉄の踏切みたいやな
I have a suggestion of a crossing you should go to it’s called berry brow level crossing in Clayton bridge
What a toy train how on earth i like diesel train
This is the Romney Hythe & Dymchuch Light Railway. Its a narrow gauge railway line. Diesel and Steam locomotives run on this line.
Cheryl Marie Butcher you just scale down all the measurements etc of a "full sized" loco
Makes shunting easier too!
At 13 miles long, and now 90 years old, this one third full size railway is no toy.
Don’t say the p word
may i ask what the p word is?
