Dear Dr. RUSCIO. Thank you for this insightful video. I did not know that negative responses to specific foods imply either fungal or bacterial overgrowth. This is valuable knowledge I can use in my research on the fodmap diet. I am very pleased that you are one of very few people who does not demonise the fodmap diet as being bad for the gut microbiome. Looking forward to more of your videos. Kind regards, Miss Reimara
Dr Ruscio, you have helped me so very much and have been such an important part of my Digestive Health Journey! I am constantly referring you to all of those people who are working through this like I am because I know you are the best one to explain and help us understand all that is happening. In addition to following all of your guidelines and using some of your probiotics I recently had a fecal analysis done which reveals that I was having difficulty digesting fat. Part of the plan for me was to take some digestive enzymes and I was very surprised at how much they helped me to get rid of the residual bloating and to form much better healthier stools I was just hoping that you could perhaps discuss the role of digestive enzymes in the healing process to control symptoms?
Hey there! Thank you so much for your incredibly kind comment. I’m so grateful to be part of your healing journey, and am even happier to hear you’ve experienced some real healing. After catching Covid 4 years ago I have had this strange autoimmune symptom. I have fatigue a lot but anytime I do physical activity that heats my body temperature up I break out with hives (they appear as small pink bumps that cover my body including sinus areas on my face). Weirdly enough the hives go away in 30 mins to an hour. If I sweat it out it doesn’t burn as much but I still feel it’s presence. I was going to a natural health doctor who helped minimize the effects of this weird rash but my parents stopped it because it was VERY expensive and I was leaving for college. Any idea on what this might be or any approaches I can take on my own to help combat it? I’m considering on going back to the doctor I was going to when I get the money in a few years.
