Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop a comment here. After you do everything in the video make sure you hit refresh and then hit cancel to back to the portrait selection screen.
The annoying thing is that even if you make your portraits perfect size that is required, game still stretches them up a bit, distorting original image to a small amount.
not sure you could fix it - got blank screen after moving next from homeworld - just a blank screen can play the game cause can't go next beyond that - @@fortmalthus7589
i followed step by step but once i put the custom portraits in they just don't work, they turn blank during character creation and once in game the medium and small one are completely absent while the fulllenght one is a random basic one, i don't know how to fix it. i thoroughly checked if the sizes were right and they are too, any clue on how to fix this?
What format did you save the files as? Make sure they are PNG and hit refresh in the game after uploading them. If the sizes are correct, it also might be a corrupted save and you could try rebooting the game. Sadly a lot of owlcat games have bugs on launch, they do fix them however.
i get to the point where the preview is changed to custom portrait (just like the end of your vid) and all i have is the "cancel" button (also as in the vid), but it won't actually change it to proceed with the rest of customization. your vid didn't proceed further to get it to accept the change. how did you do that?

@@fortmalthus7589 Yep that was it, they were saved as jpegs instead of pngs, now it seems to work completely fine ty ^^

My apologies, make sure you hit refresh and then you should be able to move through the character customization as normal
I just learned you could make custom portraits, but my character is already lvl 20. Is there any way to change "his" portrait with a game in progress?
