So many memories.
I actually did Madonna’s hair & makeup for this album cover with photographer Gary Herry in NYC that was featured in this clip…it was the first of a number of photo shoots when I started as a H&M artist in 1983…sadly it was the only time I worked with her and before I knew to have a credit on the cover…and boy did working with Madonna give my career a boost!!!
Madonna is a couple of years older than me, I was in the night club when they started playing "everbody" started dancing to it and loved her music since there. I totally sympathize how she speaks about "this is in the 80's or happening" because I do the same thing.
I like Madonna. Her music has been a part of my life for decades and I enjoy it and her creative expression as an artist. Ultimately, these are her choices, and she's entitled to them, as we all are. I think what might be throwing some people off, including fans like me, as this: putting aside the question of whether she is "too old" to be doing things she's doing or dressing this way, Madonna has long been known for being AHEAD of trends, or even setting them herself. She seemed very adept at reading the pop culture landscape and anticipating what the public would enjoy next. In my opinion, what she is doing right now seems like the antithesis of that ability. This appears dated and out of touch, two things that rarely described Madonna in the past. Moreover, she was also good about making a course correction when she did misstep, which is a reason her career has lasted this long. On the other hand, if she is really just happier this way, so be it and more power to her.
Yeah, umm, I think sycophantic sheep like you are helpless. You look for inspiration in all the wrong places. She’s just an insecure idiot. It’s unfortunate. But it’s as simple as that. So much for feminism. She functioned as a vehicle for globalists to destroy society, and proceeded destroying herself in the process. Liberalism is chewing itself apart. But that’s part of nature. And it’s funny watching nature take its course and the sheep keep making excuses and try their best to make sense of lunacy. Good luck with that.
I don't watch things with Madonna much, but she's literally so funny, I regret not literally searching her up, because my fyp, and things like that don't present her, like- EXCUSE MEH
“Those were the days when I had no say in anything. Can you imagine those days ever existing.” I know she’s joking, but man, young artists-especially women-used to go through so much shit. She paved the way. That story about her behind showing and her manager telling her that her career was over…just wow. I feel like she always wants to get real about stories of her life and career, but she has to laugh it all off.
So true. There’s a lot of heaviness in her history. Like when she made the “joke” about everyone from the 80’s being dead, what she was referring to was the AIDS epidemic that decimated the creative world. She lost so many friends and collaborators to AIDS.
But think about it,she said that she had no say, in all her videos she was half naked, but now she has a say and in all her videos she's half naked. She always ends up doing what man want her to do.
I think it's easy to criticize her for her plastic surgery or looks.. But it's also very easy to forget how she made a career from literally zero in an era where selling actual records was a thing. I have so much respect for this woman and artist. I love her interviews with Jimmy Fallon, I can see she is really comfortable playing with him and that's fun to see
Not to mention all her philanthropy work. She's contributed immensely to AIDS research and has improved the lives of many Malawian children with her building of schools and hospitals there. She's admirable.
You can appreciate her work in music and still have qualms about what she's been doing to her face. Most of her old fans are disenchanted with her as a result.
Amazing woman ❤️ Nobody can ever deny her legacy. She’s paved the way for so many. A legend. Love how relaxed she is with Jimmy. You can tell they have a great relationship. There will never be another Madonna. Never.
Problem is, she's not that old. She has a lot of pain in store for herself now. Physical pain in the body and health problems. So.... we are back to the age old truth which asks: how much can you trash the human body by all types of bad habits and get away with it?
It doesn't matter what decade it is and even if Madonna took a 2 decade hiatus, she would immediately hit the #1 music charts just as soon as she releases any single or album... Why??? Because she is always relevant #queenofpop #timeless
Hrr talent was sex. Now that her stretching has her knees as boobs, she's not sexy anymore. That is why, after a life of selling her body, she will now address "respect" for women. What a joke.
Madonna was, is, and always will be an icon. She's been reinventing herself since her debut in the 80s. While not a big fan of hers, I loved her work in Ray of Light. Keep on rockin', Madonna.
We have the same opinion. But Hung Up is what did it for me in her later career. A few of her early hits are classics. Frozen was a great track as well in the middle tier of her career.
Queen of Pop! Her success can’t be measured or compared with today’s artists as she started without Social Media and Streaming Platforms, therefore, her success is unimaginable and she has earned it. Respect
I first saw Madonna on my local TV in about 1984, it was a small feature about a new 'star'. I saw Madonna live in 1987, I was 14. I've seen many, many interviews with her and sang along to many songs. I know her quirks off by heart. She's still the best.

It frustrates me at times they way Madonna is disrespected, undermined, written off, mocked, made to be an irrelevant caricature, etc. I understand that her antics sometimes on social media can yield an eyeroll or two, but she is a MASTER self-promoter and marketer. She knows how to keep people talking and watching. What people, especially these younger online trolls of today, fail to realize is that Madonna's influence is still as impactful today as it was in her heyday. She could never release another record again, and she will never be irrelevant because her impact is sealed in stone (much like MJ and Prince). She is a living legend and one of the only true "pop icons" we have left. We should be giving her her flowers while she is still here to smell them, and appreciate them. From fashion, to visuals, to stage performance, to music, she has done it all and changed it all. Just because she's not in heavy rotation on Top 40 radio, nor currently on the Top 10 of the Hot 100, does NOT mean she is irrelevant and a has-been. Beyoncé Knowles literally just released a remix with her sampling Vogue, and wore a cone bra in one of the promo images for Renaissance...argue with the wall in saying that Madonna is irrelevant and a has-been. Her influence is and will be EVERYWHERE as long as female pop singers exist. Madonna will always be here, and never go away. She's apart of that echelon of all-time greats (MJ, Prince, Whitney, Elvis, Cher, etc.). Love you Madge, keep being you!
She’s been wearing grillz since 2006. She likes them, so why is everybody getting caught up in age and all that BS. She can wear and do whatever she wants as we all can. So I shouldn’t wear holes in my jeans or anything else that younger people do because I’m an older person? Please!
People can say what they want about her, and I don't like everything she does either, but she's still alive, so she must have done something right. Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston and George Michael didn't even reach 60.
That’s correct she has a lot to be proud of as far as her career is considered. We are not privy to her personal life. However I must admit , as far as her drive, and work ethic it may not exactly be like it was back in 97-2010. Let’s be honest , it’s different , and the industry changed as well - so that may be the reason . I love her too , but it’s time to be honest as well .
I love to see mostly true fans here, and we can all just enjoy our love for this incredible woman and be grateful for her existence.. Love Madonna forever and ever!!! 😍😍😍
What you are saying is wise and accurate, but most people to some degree fear ageing, death and becoming invisible to the world. Madonna's fame and success over the decades have probably made her even more narcissistic. It's hard for famous people to feel medicare and move closer towards irrelevancy. It's very likely that Modanna still has the mind of a young woman who just wants to go on and keep being revered. As harsh as it sounds, it's a very competitive industry for female artists, and having beauty is a big plus, but when youth fades, it can cause a precipitous decline in their status. Reality is a bitch that we all have to make peace with.
She'd get just as much shit if she aged naturally, for women in showbiz it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. She looks happy and healthy which is the most important thing, I really wish people would get over it

However, it's possible to delay ageing through smart lifestyle choices like intermittent fasting. For example, if you do consistent resistance training, and aerobic exercise in conjunction with fasting, it will have amazing benefits in keeping you younger for longer. However, it's really important to research and study fasting properly to avoid the negatives of getting it wrong.
Congratulations to you king!!! show thyself! let us google tf out of uuu pls x
How was she in person?
Material Girl still got it!! 🥰 Some are weirded out but haven't you known Madonna her whole career?
I was born late but I am into her music. My elder brother is her mega fan and so am I now. Love her and not weirded out at all.
Aside of the popular opinion of a double-standard society, she's an interesting cultural figure.

“Those were the days when I had no say in anything. Can you imagine those days ever existing.”
I know she’s joking, but man, young artists-especially women-used to go through so much shit.
The AIDS pandemic began in 1982 (and another one began 38 years later), and now there's the monkeypox one; yet Madonna's still around and kickin'.
And to prove that Madonna can overcome ageism, please pre-order #FinallyEnoughLove
But think about it,she said that she had no say, in all her videos she was half naked, but now she has a say and in all her videos she's half naked. She always ends up doing what man want her to do.

People can say what they want about her, and I don't like everything she does either, but she's still alive, so she must have done something right. Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston and George Michael didn't even reach 60.
