Just recently a news site called Sankei, unveiled some new information regarding Dragon Quest XII and of course I'm here to talk about it.

Whatever the news may be…Square Enix works at the speed of 1 polygon per year.
Toriyama has many project beside Dragon Quest isn't surprising. Dragon Ball manga already finished many years ago yet there's always something new about Dragon Ball franchise.

im happy because i like turn based DQ, ater grow i started revaluate turn based game as they are more relaxing to play, i do get relaxed by play those instead other stuff.
Since we now know Nintendo teased the SW successor recently, if we see a glimpse of DQXII at this future SW2 events this year(DQ Day might be a possibility as well) then we all look back on this doom posting and waiting as nothing more than just nothing cuz this silence has been planned all along to coincide with the reveal/release of SW2.
Btw that article is two months old when japan was its mourning phase of Akira Toriyama’s passing and I managed to stumble upon that article via twitter at that time. So for me it’s not breaking news.
Also as a follower of yours for nearly a year, i would like to offer two constructive criticisms in your videos. It’s not a personal attack against you and your style but to ensure that you can gain more success in the future:
1) sometimes you talk way too fast that i had to rewind the video to get a clearer understanding of what you’re saying. Maybe slow down a little bit.
2) the audio of the video is a bit low imo. Maybe even out the audio a bit with the music or maybe buy a new mic though that depends on your financial situation so im not to judge there.
So yeah this are my criticisms.
thank you for taking time to giving some critiques always want to improve the quality of the videos, though to address some of your points while trying to not sound too defensive:
1. I perfectly understand your point here, it's a bit of an issue I deal with. I think it has to do with how I record videos where I record in one go and there are always mess ups I make during the recording process to where I get frustrated hence the faster speaking. Not really a defense more so trying to figure out what eventually leads to that issue.
2. I'm going to admit I'm not an audio guy, I have a pretty good mic with the blue yeti and I use audacity as the main application for recording audio. I barely know how to make audio sound good, though I did get help from sack a while back. Most likely I would need to raise the mic volume up.
Anyways thanks for the feedback and hopefully things will improve.
@@ThatsRoyo👍 don’t mention it. I have a slightly impacted hearing cuz of podcast consumption and low audio and sometimes people talking too fast are my worst enemies when it comes to consuming this type of media.
Also in regards to DQXII coming out on DQ Day, if it does come with a trailer, expect to be just a reveal of the Hero and not much else and an information dump from Horii. Compared to DQ3R which it would have a lot of info and gameplay being thrown at us potentially, XII is probably gonna be held back so that it gives a room for DQ3R and to quell the already panicked JP DQ fans.
Good thing DQ12 is still being worked on.
Btw, was there an article of what games SE cancelled?
No all we know is approximately 22 billion yen/140 million dollars worth of titles were either cancelled or written off to streamline releases
You know if Sugiyama already did the ost for XII without even seeing the whole game does that mean we’ll have music that is contradictory to the dark tone that DQXII is aiming for?🤔
Hard to tell, I would assume Sugiyama was either told by either Horii or someone at SE XII was going for a darker tone.
@@ThatsRoyo probably yeah. Either he wrote the songs and composed some of them or he wrote them but then he dies and his apprentice/s are the ones now composing it.
I doubt DQ12 will be darker than DQ5. I can already see DQ12 being fake dark just like FF16. They'll just make everything edgier and call it "dark" or "mature" like how they did with FF16. I just don't want to see DQ get an overly darker tone because that will ruin what I love about DQ-fun and bubbly even if things are grim and dark.
On the whole, most DQ games are pretty damn dark in their story lines! Most players just don't notice it because of the brighter tones in the colour pallets & especially because of the famously punny dialog in so many titles
