@@jessewilliams8811 that's still skill dude. Some of these glitches are harder than playing normally. And finding them out requires a lot of knowledge of the game

Does it somehow give you an extra boost or something?
I fancy myself a speed runner and I have to say thank you for your videos. Its because of them that I improve my own times to almost similar to yours.

Lol I love the comments on this video instructing Paraxade on how to avoid getting hit by the raging robot. Seriously, could someone who jetted through 90% of the level like a pro not know how to avoid a robot's attack? haha have a lil faith, Paraxade knows what he's doing XD
@RGBfanful sonic's shoes do not make him fast...he's already fast...they're just the only shoes with enough dexterity to hold up to his intensity......
and they look pretty sweet.
I do agree with you on variety, but that can easily be achieved with these types of levels. If they just give the player room to breath in these levels every now and again, then I'd say it would work really well.

At 1:20 there is a hop+stomp glitch that will make sonic go at top speed.
I think I actually found out about that spring by accident, lol.

This is a speed run,t hat involves him trying to get the best time, so there must be a reason for him not dodging it, so you could've just kindly ask him as to what he was doing, instead of being vulgar.

i ccould never get that time and that little jump boost thing i tried it before i ever saw ur vid and it never worked for me so i just just air boost into the spikes for brakes lol my time is 3:05:09 you pwned me by 15 seconds lol you you got soem time saving tactincs i woulda never thought of hats off to ya lol

Those ppl make me laugh. The word Sonic relates to the speed of sound which pretty much says he's supposed to be fast!
If they can't handle it then they might as well stop playing any Sonic game that uses this engine.

Sorry, but no. I'd rather have games like sonic unleashed (i know, flame me as much as you want) than a game filled with only these levels. That's called variety. Same thing over and over gets old quickly

@codeman150 Lol you think you sound like you know how to play; he's aiming to get hit, it gives you a really big jump forward; this guy's got creativity and imagination in his playing style, that's why he is able to complete the level under 3 min.
My fastest time on this stage is 2minutes 36 seconds

They should of just put this stage in Sonic Generations instead of Rooftop Run not that I dont like it its just this stage music sound better!!

Under Gaming.com but that might be because there are almost no obstacles to hurt you like in unleashed
Because these boost gameplay levels are short and costly to make, especially if you have good graphics they need to be pre rendered due to sonic moving at such high speeds. That’s why unleahsed frame rate was so inconsistent. And that’s why all boost games have an added gimmick, to lengthen the game, since it’s so costly to fill the game with just boost levels
The upper route is far faster.
