Wow, this was on point with everything. Loved the video. Had no idea about Onions and Garlic, but it makes sense because Sages who eat Satvik diets in India don't eat onions and garlic. I'm gonna give all of this a try. Thank You!
This video is so important to so many people! I didnt know about sweets, chocolate- and sodas being even worse. Onions and garlic are ok for me. For me any type of red meat is a terrible trigger. Beef, pork or lamb and even salmon! But not chicken, eggs, cheese or white fish - as far as I have seen.
I never suspected onions & garlic to be offending foods. Thank you for this very informative list. Just want to share I have found that coconut oil in some people causes very bad anxiety symptoms due to the fatty chain that is sometimes hard to process in the brain. Many people don’t know about this and I find it is in a lot of foods. Just because something is natural doesn’t mean it’s healthy for all.

Vitamins B6, B12 and Folate are the most important for depression and anxiety, among other things. They lower homocysteine, which is known to trigger many diseases, but the research behind it is pretty recent and most doctors don't know about it. You can have your blood tested for B6, B12, Folate, and Homocysteine, to see if you have this problem.

I’ve had the same problem. Basically when your high on weed or edibles it can make you paranoid and trigger anxiety especially if you have anxiety problems. Alcohol can do the same I’ve had a moment where I stopped breathing while drunk but it was because I forgot to breathe due to having a panic attack while drunk. I can’t really explain the diary one. But don’t panic if your drinking or smoking weed drink water to help.

Foods that cause acidity trigger anxiety.by staying moderate in all things body mind and spirit balance which is called homeostasis. And not everyone reacts the same way to foods depending of background environment family habits and country..nothing is determined in standards. Stay healthy!
I didn't mention dairy products because there's not much scientific evidence for it. But saying that for some people dairy products including cheese can be a problem. It's also possible that it's the histamine content in particular cheeses that increases anxiety. Look up a list of histamine containing foods and see if there are any others on the list that may be affecting your anxiety.

I believe L theanine helps block glutamate production from coffee. I'm going to try as I try to ween down my caffeine
Thank you so much mam❤
My daughter started drinking decaffeinated instead and cut out any caffeinated drinks all together = No more panic attacks
Woohoo!!!! So glad to hear that. Caffeine makes such a difference.
hi doc, thanks for you video,
doc,, does vitamin B-COMPLEX helpful to avoid anxiety?
No! It can cause it. I was taking a complex for months to help me with fatigue and I've been so anxious because of it. Be very careful if you take a B vitamin complex if you suffer from anxiety.
OMG 😱 i live coffee ☕️😭 &
I also go to the gym and need energy before working out
💪🏼🥲
But do you love anxiety? 😔
I used to eat aloooot of sugar . And suddenly I hate crazy anxiety and depression. Meds helped but not completely. Then one day I decided to try to cut sugar and man has it helped
I’ve got weed, alcohol and diary causing the same reaction- triggering my fear of death and causing panic attacks... how does that happen?
I’ve had the same problem. Basically when your high on weed or edibles it can make you paranoid and trigger anxiety especially if you have anxiety problems. Alcohol can do the same I’ve had a moment where I stopped breathing while drunk but it was because I forgot to breathe due to having a panic attack while drunk. I can’t really explain the diary one. But don’t panic if your drinking or smoking weed drink water to help.
Try the Indica strains!!! They might help with anxiety and panic attacks. Sativas can definitely cause anxiety!!! And, panic attacks!!! I had to switch over to mostly Indicas, myself, because I was getting too jacked up and jittery with the Sativas. White Widow works good for me!!!
How to cure panic and anxiety ma'am. What should I do.? Pls help and advise me ma'am. Thanks
There's not 1 miracle cure. See my video on blood sugars and anxiety. Also take some magnesium
Very interesting as Ayurveda considers onions and garlic as medicine and actually are to be used sparingly as and when prescribed.

Hi Doc, I am suffering with anxiety and I don't know what to do the doctor says it permenopuse but am taking Xanax but still having anxiety but not bad, I don't eat these foods to affect me , so please can you help me because I can't eat carbs my blood sugar go up and down, but I eat a lot of onion and garlic so I have to stop now and see how it will help my anxiety thanks for education me on how to reduce anxiety.
If it's perimenopause think about hormonal imbalances. Don't cut out onions unless you have gut issues. Please search my videos for information on progesterone deficiency. it will help educate you on hormones and how they can affect anxiety
Foods that cause acidity trigger anxiety.by staying moderate in all things body mind and spirit balance which is called homeostasis. And not everyone reacts the same way to foods depending of background environment family habits and country..nothing is determined in standards. Stay healthy!
also lemon balm tea??😮
What about decaffeinated coffee?
@@MiguelLopez-lz9gy yip that's a good alternative. Organic and water processed is ideal
Cold coffee gives me so much joy 😁🤷♀️
yo can actually opt for non-caffeinated tea like chamomile
What can we do come back to normality?
Thank u
For me its coffee, chocolate, sodas. Started drinking decaf and sparkling water
I brought up coffee causing anxiety to my psychiatrist and he just brushed it off.
he's/she's addicted to it
What about cheese, i notice when i eat cheese it trigger my anxiety, Doc can you confirm this?
I didn't mention dairy products because there's not much scientific evidence for it. But saying that for some people dairy products including cheese can be a problem. It's also possible that it's the histamine content in particular cheeses that increases anxiety. Look up a list of histamine containing foods and see if there are any others on the list that may be affecting your anxiety.
@@DrJanelleSinclair than you Doc.
