    We only get one chance at life and living a life a little bit less ordinary is a worthwhile path to take. People who live in houses often get bored wondering "what can I do today" but when you live on a boat, the boat is your life as you find yourself so connected with nature and the environment. It's a fulfilling experience.

    It’s refreshing to actually know that not only do you talk about it, but you live it too! I’ve always made sure that my “home”, no matter what it was , it couldn’t be taken from me & it was paid for. I’ve also always made sure I had alternate ways of lighting, heating, cooling, eating, cooking and water. I had a small cabin at a lake for many years that very few people even knew about, but I could hunt, fish, get fresh water & veggies without leaving for many months. It’s good seeing people who welcome the lifestyle of being responsible, helping others and liking it.--🍀

    I really like this young lady! And I so can understand everything she says about getting in touch with the elements and everything she has to fix and about her growing by doing all this. She can really be proud of all what she is doing!!! And I really like her thoughts about the economic system and that we don't have to play that game. I'm still in this game ti pay all my bills and I envy her in some way. I wish her all the best🍀 and in Germany we say " immer eine Handbreit Wasser unter ' m Kiel"😉 God bless and greetings from an elderly lady from Germany 😊

    Hi you folks at different media ! Stumbled on your channel ( amoungst millions ) and congratutle you for the doc's you made since 8 yrs. "Toni's" story is quite unique, lovely and inspiring. What a lovely and generous soul that has the courage to become a skipper and councillor with the help of school and mentors !
    The interview style, sound & picture are great. Yet, I would have liked to see some footage or photo of the boat under sail... with Toni at the helm. Like others suggested, please encourage Toni to produce some of her own content or channel ! May the winds be favourable to you all ....

    Living aboard is fine, but it is the capability of traveling the world that really appealed to me. I lived aboard a 33' steel pilothouse cutter (Caroff Chatham 33') and spent 7 years sailing all over the world mostly in the high latitudes north and south which are much less visited. My finale was a 3 year, 40,000 mile singlehanded circumnavigation.

Currently in Key Largo for refit and repairs after being hit by a 30’ center console doing about 40-50 at 2;00am while at anchor in Miami. They had two unconscious and lots of bloods, they fled but were caught. Looking forward to exploring Dry tortugas and Bahamas as soot as I leave this marina. If we ever meet you’re welcome aboard for dinner made with grass fed steak and the purest ingredients. What inspired you to pursue this? Wishing you happy sailing!

Love your boat!...I have been looking for a specific ferrous cement schooner for years now, 😢 It is a 48 ft, 52 w bow spread, The name was, "Sea Prince Blue" last known area was Victoria harbour in mid 90's It is very special, as my father built it from scratch. Should you see it or think of another 50 ft ferrous cement sailboat, schooner, mid cockpit, two cabins, name may have changed?. Please please post the where abouts, please. It is my goal to buy it back. We lost it in a divorce. Fyi, I am on the island too, so please anyone with knowledge, add info here on reply. I am now subscribed to your channel and love sailing, and watching it as well. Nice ship, cheers,....say, have you ever had the Q , how does cement float? 🤣🤣🤣 I laughed every time. Salt water is great for washing the dishes but you should still do the final rinse with fresh water. I like the force 10 heater those are nice if they are diesel fed. I’m currently in the market for a new to me sailboat I have two that have my attention and I would like to be a buyer after a full survey. Why, the Palestinians are the oppressed, their lands invaded, Israel building illegal settlements.... This is not controversial, they are simply facts recognised by 90 percent of the world.

      Are you kidding me Palestinians live in Israel and can't vote and can't leave and then get bombed sounds like oppression to me.

    ya so life giving to not pay property taxes in any form whether its rent or mortgage,, so who keeps up the sidewalks and roads that you use?

    • @Differentmedia
      @Differentmedia  Месяц назад +23

      Ahhh yes. Where would our roads be if not for property tax 😂 you realize there are plenty of other types of taxes right? We are taxed at 40%-50% of our income in Canada when you account for income, sales, and carbon taxes.
      Property tax is the biggest scam of them all, it basically confirms you don't actually own the land you spent your life energy to buy, you just rent it from the government and they seize it away from you if you don't pay an arbitrary property tax that they squander in unaudited chromisism and funding forever wars.
