I am 60. I bought my 1st harp at 14 but didn't play it much . I now wish I had put more effort into it . I have been playing for a year now and starting to put things together. It's gratifying to play a little music . Stick with it .

You’ve a wonderful way to explain. I’ve always liked guitar and have never been so interested in harmonica, but you have changed my mind about this. Isn’t it strange how a person can influence you when you do it in the right way. It’s about how your soul can accept to learn and make you happy to find the key to open up your mind. Best tip I ever got about playing fast I got from the great Nashville session pianist Gordon Mote:
“if you have to think about it, you’re already too late.” Translation, learn your instrument and connect with it. Things like triplets, trills , warbles will make it sound faster than you are really having to play

Always comming back to this! Always see whole video! Its so great explain! I jam in my car every time i go to work! Small steps every time i go. Lissen to mp3 i buy from your webshop. Sometimes i just playing for fun and its not always sounds good, but it feels good to training on how hard/soft i blow, and like you say, its fantactic how just 3-4 holes whitout moving lips, just use same holes, can sound so different! I got 10 harmonica in just one hole! Its mindblowing and something i dont even coud dream of before i begin to try out different versions of tongue and trouth movement mixed with hard/soft blow and speed. Its fun to go to work haha! Munspel (swed) is in my heart for all time now and its because of you! You isperied me so mutch and i always loved harmonica, but expect its to hard for me to learn so i never try for real. Try little when i was 12 and never more after that. It took 35 years of my life, till i find you to inspere me to try again! And now 2 Harmonica in my pocket! I will wait till my 50 years birthday, then i plan to blow all away on my train playing, no one, not even my wife know i training mouthplay, i hope all blow of they chair and say: WOW i had no idea you coud play harmonica 😄
Long text, but its my way to say: Juzzie, Thanks for sharing and learn out harmonica playing to us all!
You are a truly inspiration to very meny people! Wish you all good to you and your family! P.D from Sweden

your speed reminds me of some of the Sonny Terry stuff where Brownie would be taking his hunting dog (Sonny) out on a walk in the woods, Sonny would be a rooting around, then he would catch the scent and all hell breaks loose. Guy could tell an entire story without words. Now I have to go back and listen to some of that stuff.

Im starting getting into one-man-band stuff just now and adding a harmonica. your videos are a great source of inspiration. My biggest problem is getting super dizzy after a few bars of rhythm and i suspect it might be air control maybe ? Do you have any vids courses on how to deal with that ? You are a true legend man !
