This is absolutely awesome. The only thing I regret is that I bought my blues harp only 3 weeks ago. I am 65 years old. I should have found you and your lessons 20 years earlier. ;-)
I am 60. I bought my 1st harp at 14 but didn't play it much . I now wish I had put more effort into it . I have been playing for a year now and starting to put things together. It's gratifying to play a little music . Stick with it .
Again, I have been playing music for a lot of years. I have gotten burnt out on Music even though I still play it. After watching your videos. I see your joy in it. I have woken up and I am looking forward to teaching again. Thank you.
From the first time I saw you, I was captivated by your fun enthusiasm. You make it so easy to learn from, and I'm airways looking forward to what you'll do or say next. It's great!
Even if I still not have tried the harmonica I can’t stop listening to you. I’m like that I must be inspired to start up. I need time to take decision and the same with the guitar. You make it so exciting so one day I will fix a harmonica.
I hardly ever subscribe part way through a single video, usually I gotta watch a few from a creator before I decide if I like them, but you have such a chill and friendly vibe I had to subscribe! We need more of your attitude in society
There's just something about Aussies isn't there 😂. I'm listening to "he who fights monsters" on Audible, Australian protagonist and narrator and it's a fantastic series.
This is amazing I’m going to keep with this I’ve played the harmonica on and off trouble with me is I want to play it fast straight away. To me your like a God of the harmonica will take your advice and start off slowly and build my way up hopefully I’ll get there In the end.
I just really love this guy listening to him talk is almost as cool as listening to him play cuz he's so calm and his demeanor is awesome I wish I could meet this guy yeah love it learning from him is awesome
OMG your videos are so great, i bought an harmonica a few weeks ago after your first "course" and i'm enjoying it day after day, i'll learn this one. Thanks a lot from France
You’ve a wonderful way to explain. I’ve always liked guitar and have never been so interested in harmonica, but you have changed my mind about this. Isn’t it strange how a person can influence you when you do it in the right way. It’s about how your soul can accept to learn and make you happy to find the key to open up your mind. Swedish greetings from Thailand.
This is really so much fun, love it…it’s truly addictive because I want to keep playing my harp.., open mic next Tuesday here I come! Thanks for another brilliant lesson! You are inspirational.🎶👍🏻
You are my harmonica teacher. I knew from your knowledge your experience and some harmonica sound techniques. I respect you with my soul and my heart. You are very nice.brother🙏
Awesome as usual. Loved it. Even tho I don’t play I do love watching and listening to you play and love listening to the harmonica. You & family stay safe.
Really liked this a lot. Started my blues harp journey about six months ago. Never did care much for the train thingy, but this here was really fun ..I can now sort of do this, even a lil boogie tossed in. Great fun lesson , very well explained! It really is a good thing to practice I've learned, and you Juz , just made it even more fun for me ..thanks from Canada!
This is the best tutorial I've watched to learn this technique! You give several tips and it's very detailed! Thank you very much I will go practice ;)
Long time musician, just saying I appreciate your vids. Really well put together. Good for beginners and even us old timers that pick things up faster because of experience. Appreciate your experience and love for the art!
Juzzie you are a legend...First 4bars of Muddy Waters, Hard again 40 yrs ago I was Sold,,, Harmonicas it was.. I Was a late starter with the guitar so, tryn to work the two together has been, and still is so much fun Nothing beats that buzz when they both come together... Thank you for sharing your musical talent that has helped so many!!! You a Gentle man..
I was struggling to repeat the blow suck etc. So slowed the video down to half speed, now I can’t see for tears of laughter. Looks and sounds like you’ve had one too many Juzzie. Anyway, I love your enthusiasm and joy! Thanks for sharing. I’ve not moved past TA TA KA TA. But enjoying the slow ride.
You are a great teacher. Only got the 10 C diatronic today. I can’t quite do the e and o sounds too fast but it is coming together. You teach in a way I understand because I cant read music. I will practise as often as I can. Thanks again.
Best tip I ever got about playing fast I got from the great Nashville session pianist Gordon Mote: “if you have to think about it, you’re already too late.” Translation, learn your instrument and connect with it. Things like triplets, trills , warbles will make it sound faster than you are really having to play
Always comming back to this! Always see whole video! Its so great explain! I jam in my car every time i go to work! Small steps every time i go. Lissen to mp3 i buy from your webshop. Sometimes i just playing for fun and its not always sounds good, but it feels good to training on how hard/soft i blow, and like you say, its fantactic how just 3-4 holes whitout moving lips, just use same holes, can sound so different! I got 10 harmonica in just one hole! Its mindblowing and something i dont even coud dream of before i begin to try out different versions of tongue and trouth movement mixed with hard/soft blow and speed. Its fun to go to work haha! Munspel (swed) is in my heart for all time now and its because of you! You isperied me so mutch and i always loved harmonica, but expect its to hard for me to learn so i never try for real. Try little when i was 12 and never more after that. It took 35 years of my life, till i find you to inspere me to try again! And now 2 Harmonica in my pocket! I will wait till my 50 years birthday, then i plan to blow all away on my train playing, no one, not even my wife know i training mouthplay, i hope all blow of they chair and say: WOW i had no idea you coud play harmonica 😄 Long text, but its my way to say: Juzzie, Thanks for sharing and learn out harmonica playing to us all! You are a truly inspiration to very meny people! Wish you all good to you and your family! P.D from Sweden
Yes I have to agree man you're awesome I've learned a lot from you I did harmonica I got from Marlboro mi 40 years ago and never been used until recently been about 6 weeks and I haven't proved it seems like I can't practice enough and I know if I did 15 minutes I got to do an hour and a half to two a day trying too hard but thank you
your speed reminds me of some of the Sonny Terry stuff where Brownie would be taking his hunting dog (Sonny) out on a walk in the woods, Sonny would be a rooting around, then he would catch the scent and all hell breaks loose. Guy could tell an entire story without words. Now I have to go back and listen to some of that stuff.
Hey Juzzi. Just wanted to let you know I love your stuff. Just so excellent. Im starting getting into one-man-band stuff just now and adding a harmonica. your videos are a great source of inspiration. My biggest problem is getting super dizzy after a few bars of rhythm and i suspect it might be air control maybe ? Do you have any vids courses on how to deal with that ? You are a true legend man ! Hope you and your family are gonna have an excellent 2024.
Your the best mate .Tell me how the payed lessons work are they videos or just sound advise . You give so much for free , so nice and you make it easy to understand for the layman can you do a RUclips on how we would benefit buying the course since you give such insight on RUclips. I know you don’t like to promote your self on you tube but it wasn’t clear to me anyway

Thanks Norman. Your tongue can make great tone changes. Just work on that. I don’t use hand cupping much as always in holder while playing guitar. Awesome your playing 👍
Juzzie I’ve been loving your music. Very inspiring. I’d like to ask you what that shake device is your foot steps on. It sounds fantastic. I’d love to get one. Where could I purchase one? Thank mate.

@@JuzzieSmithRUclips hey man just wondering if you managed to sort out the issue? I really wanna get started! Thanks man
OK on the train horn , I'm a bit confused , sorry about that Sir , but are you bending down or up ??
The trick is to start on the bend and release it. That gives the wha wha sound 👍
What key is the best? 😊❤
What key your in?❤
Key C harmonica 😊
What key are you using sir ??? or does it matter , my fave key is A .
I’m using key C. When you learn it then play on A. Also one of my favourite keys 😊
I enjoy watching this with a ice cold Coors Light.
