    Thanks for taking the time to record your thoughts and post these updates. The opinions and experiences of someone who actually uses the vehicle every day like it was intended is worth a hundred videos from professional reviewers who only drive it for a day and rattle off the same technical specs.

    I just received mine a month ago in all black hi roof extended and boy does it ride smooth. It’s way better then my order mid roof Transit. I will be doing a video soon. Thanks for the video your the reason I ordered one.

    I ordered my 2022 was pushed back to a 2023 you were my motivation to order one and I heard a lot of less maintenance bought me Im a locksmith probably travel at most 60-100 a miles a day which are my busiest days my Diesel I have to pump 100 every 2-3 days

    I'm an electrical contractor in miami, and I've owned my long wheelbase, high roof for about a month, and I charge it to 80% everywhere day or 3 days, depending on my drive. All my work is local, and I always plug it in with 120 adapter when I get to a customers house. At least for my area and the way I work, this is an amazing vehicle.

    The recommended pressure increase in the rear is because you are hauling heavy things in a heavy duty van. Try carrying 2,200 lbs in the back with 55 psi on your rears and you will see why they set them at 70-78 psi depending on outside temps. Rear tire wear even on the gas models are still different. Average 2 or 2.5 sets of rears for every set of fronts.
    The 2024 models are WAAAAAAAYYYY better though. Bigger batteries, longer range and the BIGGEST difference is you can FAST charge on tbe Tesla network now. Game changer really. Now, if they will just increase the range as far as the e sprinter cqn go they will sell 200,000 of these a year .

    I do the same, no heater but I did get a 12V seat heater which doesn't effect range at all and heats up the seat nicely.

    Great to hear an update. I’ve been watching your vids on your Transit from the beginning. I’m waiting for a 220+ range on these because I’d like to do a camper conversion. I also live inMinnesota and our insanely cold weather really reduces our ev range.
    Have you heard anything from Ford about the e Transit getting more range soon? The Mercedes e sprinter is coming out this year with a 250 mile range.

      They've been testing heated seatbelts, visors, floormats and seats rather than climatr use to maintain cabin function. This will be more efficient for those that want climate control to stay comfotable. Well see what it becomes.
      Otherwise a next gen platform is what it will take.

      I'm in exactly the same boat. Been waiting for a 220+ mile van since 2016. The Buzz does actually go that far, but I decided the original was annoyingly small. The long wheelbase with slightly bigger battery will be here in a few months, and I'm hoping that will be big enough to make a useful van.

    I would try the hardest to incorporate at least plugging the van into any outlet during the day. it would make things alot easier. 10 miles is 10 miles.

    I think the rears are over inflated for the weight. Are the centers of your tires wearing out faster than the edges? I had that same issue with my 2017 GMC Savana. What I did was bring it to the dealer and have them reprogram the TMPS so I could run 50 front and 50 rear without that light bugging me. They actually set the rears to 49 psi. I run 50 front, and 55 rear, and rotate the tires every year and that made a world of difference. The empty weight on these E-transit's are within 50 pounds front vs rear axle. I think that 70 psi in the rear is assuming the vehicle is loaded to max GVWR. There's an ideal tire pressure for every tire based on it's load. Too little air is bad because load range E or 16 ply rating truck tires have a very stiff sidewall, and excessive sidewall flexing with too little air will quickly destroy the tire, plus lose range from the wasted energy heating the tire plus increased rolling resistance. Too much air pressure equals lower rolling resistance, but more losses from slipping and wears out the center of the tire too fast, and not safe because the contact patch is smaller than what the tire manufacturer designed it for. A lot of people deliberately run much lower air pressures when driving in sand or snow etc, especially sand. Driving fast on a gravel road with rear tires over inflated for the weight on them would be quite sketchy as well.

    I’m waiting for them to come out with a larger battery. Not enough range yet for me, unfortunately. As for the tires they will all be the same. Higher rear pressure is normal in a commercial vehicle / heavy duty vehicle. Rotate every 10k max.

    I got 11K miles on mine and my rear tires are gone. I made complain to ford when I pass 9K mile. I took it to dealership they measured the depth and they agreed that I need new tires. After a month I finally got answer from ford and they will pay for new set of tires. 😃

    your suppose to rotate the tires every 5000 miles. They are all same tires. Duh

    thanks for the video, very useful info. I would love to convert and EV van like this into a camper but wonder what all that extra weight would do to the range. Do you ever drive yours fully loaded and if so what weight would that be and what effect would it have on range? thanks

      At about half payload I experienced summertime ranges in 150-160 range, for reference. Half payload being 1750 lbs. Always keep in mind range on this is heavily influenced by the spread of hwy over city/suburban driving.

      Horrible 😂. Worse with A/C or heat.
