This video is a day ride I out of Medellin, Colombia that I did with Moto Ride Medellin (motoridemedell...) in August 2023.
It was a six hour ride out to the town of Concepcion from their office in Medellin.
It takes in a real variety of the local scenery from the fast roads out of the city (with the city traffic), back roads, dirt roads, single track, some steep hills both up and down, and though I didn't film the arrival at the missing road in the thumbnail, I did film the cut around it (down a singletrack muddy trail, through the river and up the other side). It was a fabulous day on one of their AKT TTR200's and Ruben was a great guide.

It’s a green place. Quite remarkable really, equatorial rainforest at a mile+ elevation.

I like the Rukka mesh jacket, but they are expensive. Good fit? Santa Domingo looks worth stopping in. Concepcion, too. It does look very Spanish. Nick
They are unfortunately. It’s saved me once in a 50mph high side in Wales that I walked away from. I also picked up a Klim mesh jacket in September. It vents a bit better than the Rukka, but is also unfortunately priced. Let me know if you fancy coming along in May 😉
@@PeakMotorcycles May: I would if I could. Interesting that the Klim vents better than the Rukka.
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o I guess the Rukka is designed in Finland, where they have nice summers, but nothing too warm and the Klim is designed in Idaho, which I believe gets pretty toasty in the summer. I’ve a Rukka Nirvala suit which is perfect for Northern Europe all year round, even the winter. South of the Alps and it’s just too hot. So I have a Klim Carlsbad for the warmer places!
@@PeakMotorcycles I'm glad you told me this. I was considering buying the Rukka for use in Thailand. I won't now.
