How fast have you gone on your grom?
72 mph my top speed. Yoshi exhaust, mntbx intake, thats it. I do have a windshield which i think it really helps in deflection of wind. Im 5'6'' 156 pounds

I have hit 56mph flat ground no tuck. I weigh 194 dressed. I have a full exhaust, intake and 14t front sprocket.
2022 grom with amazon exhaust 6’3 320 at the time i hit 65mph

I’ve hit around 74-75 on the highway but usually tops out at about 70. I’m just running the MNNTHBX Mtake and a Vance and Hines hooligan exhaust with a tune from CJR, it also helps that I’m only 5’5 and 130 pounds lol

Has anyone taken it to limiter in 5th with big bore and sprockets? Completely stock they are geared for 77mph on gps I know Speedo is 4mph faster from factory too🤷♂️
@@FoldedOrange381I took my 22 grom to 81 mph bouncing limiter downhill on the highway. All I had was an Amazon exhaust. Friend did the same with just a muffler delete.
I’ve seen 73 with stock bore & sprockets. Exact same bike down to the color. Stock tires. DHM cam, Man n box intake, Amazon exhaust (without core), and DHM flashed ECU. I’m 5’7 or 8 & 157-162 lbs. It was a very cool morning though. Fairly flat surface too.
You looked more tucked on your run so even though he is lighter and not as tall, he was probably more like a sail sitting more upright imo. That’s been my problem, I don’t like to tuck
2017 honda grom lowered and stretched with 9,000 miles - stage 3 with 14t sprocket - top speed was 78 mph on gps tucked. About 67 ish mph upright. 5”7 165lbs

The s2 cam is best if you ride high in the rpm’s
My top speed is 71 but i can draft a car on the interstate and hit 85 but i went down a tooth in the back im 5 10 160 pounds my bike is stretched now it rids so much smother at high speeds
Stretching ur bike made it ride better ?

just installed dhm 149cc kit s1 cam exhaust big injector ecu tune and i havent got any miles on it yet becuase its still really cold here but i cant wait to rip this thing around this season

I think you may need other supporting mods? What you got other than the bbk?
What you don’t have is carbon fiber wheels. You gain so much more top end with the carbon fiber wheels. I have exhaust and fresh air and a ecu tune with carbon fiber wheels and a 14tooth sprocket in front and 39 tooth in the rear and I can hit 78 mph blowing past my boy with the same setup minus the carbon fiber wheels I pull on him all day in any gear

Pretty awesome. I have a clone with a four speed that is only the one twenty five with a cam. I weigh a 235 pounds. My top speed is sixty eight miles an hour on flagground. I know I could break seventy as soon as I get the nibbi carburetor. Red limit like a mofo.😂

I’m 5’8 150lbs. I have a 2023. Yoshimura exhaust, Chimera intake, DHM tune. I want the BBK and Cam. So far I got mine up to 63 on flat surface tucked. Do you think the ARacer set up is worth it? Keep up the good videos my man.

So far I hit 67 on mine, flat road 6’1 187. All I got on mine is full Toce exhaust. I did need a full tuck though

from what I recall, you really didn't have any miles on your grom when you did the big bore kit. I bet when you get about 800-1000 miles on it you will have gained another 5 mph with doin nothin else.

@@TTorres1183 I edited my comment, I didn't want it to sound like a jab. My dealer and his sons all swear monkeys are always a tad higher on top end then a grom. So not really apples to apples if they are to be believed.

With my 2022 Grom at the moment I Just have my MNNTHBX air filter and my Yoshimura exhaust, no ECU Flash or anything else yet, at full tuck and the wind pushing me I've gotten mine up to 74 for a split second lol, so I'm curious to see what I'll be able to do once I get my Big Bore Kit, Cam upgrade, Oil Cooler and ECU Flash. I'm 5'4 170ish, so I'm short but not that small.
