Went to Costco yesterday and walked by a couple ladies who were asking what the difference was between the different EVOOs. Overheard them in passing, and told them which one to get and referred them to FlavCity. Spreading the love!

I use the Kirkland Italian EVOO for cooking, but mostly for salad dressings. I go through one of those bottles pretty much monthly. Love it and never felt better.

They replaced it already in my Costco. but the new 2 liters avocado oil bottle doesn’t say ‘expeller pressed’! Sad!
@@msymsy3293 yeah, but I called the manufacturer to ask and they said that it’s still expeller pressed. They just changed the labeling. You can also call them to confirm. But they could also be lying.... guess we’ll never really know for sure.

Amen to that comment. I run into people at Costco and we share notes from items not tried. I passed on the keto brownies the first time around but the guy I spoke to the first time shared his experience with his making it for his daughter. I bought it the next time.

I don't know if Bobby will read this but I recently bought the Kirkland grassfed butter! So back in india my grandparents had their own cattle etc and made everything home so I know how pure butter n ghee can taste. Ghee is called liquid gold edible in our culture. Until now I made ghee outta kerrygold but boy must I say this Kirkland's butter is of even more superior quality! And ghee turns out absolutely pure golden! Im so in love with it. Quenched my years of cravings in first spoon itself!

I was told that the Extra Virgin OO is not good for cooking, does not have high smoke point. That is why I buy the 2 Pk OO. I also buy the Avocadp oil & Coconut oil.
Have not used Canola, Soy or Corn oil in 20 years! Stopped using Grapeseed.

I just use homemade ghee/clarified butter. It only takes like 30 minutes to make, and it has a high smoke point as well as this nutty flavor. Love it!!!!!!!

Hey Bobby. I finally tried the keto Highkey chocolate chip cookies from Costco. They are amazing. Looked for the Kirkland Grass fed butter. No go. Just the Irish brand.

I use that tub of organic virgin coconut oil after bathing. You can apply coconut oil just as you would any other lotion. It works best on slightly damp skin, so applying after your shower is ideal.

You apparently overlooked the 1 liter glass bottles of Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil First Cold Pressed 100% Organic by Casa Olearia Carapelli. They're on sale for a short time @ $7.49 ea. I bought a case of 12 yesterday. Great job on teaching Preventive Health. I began teaching Preventive Health in 08/90 when I launched The StayWell Company Inc.
Carapelli is widely known in Italy for committing massive olive oil fraud.

I buy that exact organic EVOO but I now I know even more info so thank you!! I purchased that canola oil and I need to get rid of it asap and get us some Olive oil only. I primarily use EVOO so I use a lot. Lol rarely use the poison oil (canola).

I thank you for all the very informative information. I tell everyone i meet about you. I told a guy that is pre-diabetic about watching your videos and all the good information you give people about what causes inflammation, diabetes and other stuff. I turned everyone on to Siete chips. My husband thinks Im crazy. I chase the organic, whats on the dirty dozen list, and who has my seiete chips. I don't know why but i'm loosing weight. Trying to Make better choices for my husband that has cystic Fibrosis and the new medicine made him gain 40 pounds. Thanks for educating me.

Just went to Costco tonight in Portland, OR. After this video, I planned to buy more bottles of the Chosen Foods Avocado Oil. The CF oil in the old packaging was already gone. Instead, there was a new avocaco oil, think it was Ottovio. But there was a larger size Chosen Foods avocado oil. Not a gallon, but larger than the previous version. And there wasn’t a star on the new price tag. Sorry I didn’t get more info. Should have taken some pics.

I've always read never buy olive oil stored in plastic as the oil causes plastic to leach into the oil!
I love the Kirkland ev olive oil , the taste is the true taste and I eat it sometimes just with a piece of bread
I just bought the Kirkland Extra Virgin Olive Oil online from Costco! Only $13.50 for 2L bottle. I read about Kirkland and almost bought it at Amazon. I'm glad that I didn't because it cost over $25 there!

I’m not sure which videos I’ve posted it on, but I know I’ve posted a few times in the past about Sartori grated Parmesan. It was my favorite because it was just pure, grated Parmesan with no fillers and no anti-caking agents. It was like you’d grated it yourself, but without the work!
Well, no longer. I opened up a new bag today and, while measuring, thought the label ingredients looked long so I grabbed my glasses. They have started adding potato starch to their grated cheese now. So sad... Now I need to suck it up and shell out for a good cheese grater!

I snagged a liter bottle of Chosen Foods avocado oil for $10.99 at Costco (SC) last week. No asterisk at my store.
In some of the Costco in Georgia has gotten rid of the Chosen food avocado oil and replaced it with the nitivia brand and another one which is a mixture of coconut oil avocado oil and flax seed.

Love your channel Bobby and your books. I have learned a ton about reading labels from you. With that said but I think you need to look into the Olive Oil study you keep quoting. The study is 10 years old (many of the current Olive Oils were not even around then) and the study was done by taste, not actual lab testing of oil contents. The study also doesn't list all of the olive oils tested, their source and freshness/expiration date. Very surprised that UC Davis would do a study that wasn't based on scientific lab testing. They did the study on what a few people's ideas of what Olive Oil should taste like.
One year I was using coconut oil for cooking, and My Husband and Mine glaucoma numbers went up in the eyes. Then I used to eat olive oil religiously, but I got fatty liver with that. Finally I am back to butter. I just stirfry my vegetables add a little bit better and enjoy my food.
