After seeing my first bread video critiqued by Bobby Parrish, I went out and bought a loaf of the Ezekiel Sesame (first time tasting Ezekiel bread of any flavor) and it was wowsey!! The best tasting bread I have ever had. It is now my go to bread, today I picked up a loaf of Sesame, Cinnamon Raisin and the wheat by Ezekiel, pricey but so worth it.. Thank you Mr Parrish for introducing me to this scrumptious bread.

Our Costco up here in Canada sources it purchases from local suppliers, lots of great options, rye, whole wheat, ancient grains, sour dough etc. We have many local artisan bakeries here!
Bobby I hope there's a way you see this. I know this suggestion is a ton of work but maybe you'd consider it and work on it over time. It would be great if you added a Video Index to your website the same way you have a recipe index. I think your videos are becoming the go-to for real, accurate information for a lot of people. But you have so many now and some cover multiple products. It would be great if we were able to use your website to see the products alphabetically and see something like BREAD: 6/11/20 (Costco), 2/15/20 (Trader Joes), 11/10/19 (Top Healthiest). Or something similar. As I said, that's a ton of work going through the old videos, indexing them, deciding how far back to go and so on but it would be an invaluable help to so many. Just an idea.

My wife likes the Ezequiel bread. I don't. Too dry (tastes like carton) and too small loaves (at least the supermarket version) for making a good sandwich. Brownberry and Dave's Killer may not be as healthier but tastes way more delicious.

No clue why they need to kick you out of the store. It's such an informative content and good for customers even for me who is not in the State and none of Costco in my country at all. I just apply what I learned from Bobby at my grocery store.

We all want the honest review and this informative content for a better life n health. While reviews might be helpful for us, not all reviews are good for some products that’s why it’s not allowed. Plus right now, I think it might be better for him not to film inside Costco. He can buy the products and show it at home. There’s many you tubers that do that. Right now with all the waiting outside of the markets, it’s better for him to hurry up and buy what he’s gonna buy and stop touching everything. People should just go to the market to buy food and not to hang out. I get that people are bored but it sucks for us employees working there.
I didn't know that sprouts had Ezekiel tortillas how much are they anyways, I'm on a semi keto diet of low carbs and low sugar but I won't do keto 100% too many restrictions on healthy vegetables and fruits that are actually very good for us and the Ezekiel bread is way more healthy than the best clean keto bread so I'm good with Ezekiel bread but being Mexican is hard to do without tortillas, I gave flour but still eat corn tortillas, I was planning to buy organic corn tortillas but I'm pretty sure the Ezekiel brand will be much better, I'll be looking for them next time I go to sprouts I'm in Temecula in southern California hopefully they have them.
I used to work at a distributing company that sold Silver Hills and Ezekiel bread. I was able to take some home here and there until I left. Unfortunately due to the price, I stopped eating the bread. Should look at Costco next time I need bread to see if they still carry Ezekiel
Dave's bread come in multiple varieties - there is a thinner slice variety with only 80 cals and very little added sugars. Perhaps red or bluish green color wrapper. Agreed that those with 5 gms sugar and 120cal per slice are bad.
I live in small town Pittsburg Texas. We get Dave's Killer bread and I don't know if you know he has a sprouted bread now. Problem is it sells before it gets to the shelf. Same thing with Ezekiel. You have to be standing there when they go to put it in the freezer. Occ I can get there on time. Appreciate you and all that you and your family do for us.
Hey Janet, my husband calls our local store & has them reserve items that he knows will sell out before he can get there. It’s only a few items & they are happy to do it. You might try it!

It’s a defoliant to make the leaves dry up, shrivel and fall off the plant. Basically, agent orange is used on oats, wheat, and other grains, and cotton.
At my Costco we don’t have the frozen breads. But we have Dave’s Killer bread, the one mentioned in the video and a different one with a red color bag a power seed or something like that. Has now added sugars or any oils. Is also sweetened with organic apple, peach and pear juices. And only 1g of added sugar. It also tastes pretty damn well and is organic. Would definitely recommend to others who have limited healthy bread options at their local Costco.

Watched this when it originally came out, and am watching it now and actually putting your tips into action. Took notes on my phone so when I go to Costco here in Canada (hopefully they have some of these brands. Costco's stock on their website doesn't look too promising), I can grab some Bobby Approved™ bread. Reason being is to make Avacado toast with egg (scrambled probably) & maybe siracha. Don't like Siracha is memory serves me correctly, and it's not the healthiest thing in the world, so I'll probably try to find an alternative.
I would still get Dave's bread because in my location, there isn't really many "organic" selections of bread. Good luck trying to find clean bread. Yes Dave's has Organic Cane Sugar but it's a way better bread out there in the market.

I get the Alvarado Street Flax and Chia seed sprouted wheat bread in California. No Ezekial bread at Costco, tho can get at Safeway in freezer section. Don't buy Dave's Bread since they went BIG, cause started to look more like the Orowheat bulk-style stuff. Bread lasts forever in our house. It serves as an open-faced substrate for... whatever much better nutritional value food we put on it.
To mix separated oil back in to peanut butter: turn jar upside down over night. Then right side up overnight. It will stir up easily. Then refrigerate.

As someone that also knows a lot of what you say is true for healthy eating. Although you don’t realize that surgar does not always cause diabetes and a lot of times it’s heredity as well and as you get older your chances get worse I have met a lot of diabetics that are healthy eaters and even some that eat Bobby approved healthy food and are diabetic it’s not always what you eat so please don’t scare people but do keep up the good ideas on healthier eating. You are awesome on your choices
Great information I feel better about deciding to go with Ezekiel bread over even the more expensive clean keto breads, I like a lot of things about the keto diet but I'm not stopping eating papaya in the morning just because is not keto friendly, and I will have some raw honey occasionally and fermented beets I'm more focused on gut health and digestive health and of course eating healthy all the way around, and you probably were in a hurry and forgot to mention low glycimec index on the Ezekiel bread and the Costco peanut butter is not just organic but the peanuts are Valencia organic peanuts the best one there is.

My Costco has a Kirkland peanut butter similar to the Nutzo one. I just finished it and threw out the jar. Wish I still had it to double check the ingredients. It was a great price though. Keep an eye out for it

make your own sourdough starter the longer and older it is alive the lower in GI it becomes the better it is for you in the long run. Only if you like the flavour of sourdough. I made my starter last year using organic sprout wheat flour and organic rye flour, i fed it sprouted wheat flour most days and some organic hard red wheat flour.

Have you tried the PB2 fit for you powder peanut butter and what did you think of it? A year ago my son was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at age 9 we are still learning to help him with good Carbs and bad. How the food affects his blood sugar levels. I'm always looking for natural or no sugar or sugar alcohol added to our food. It's getting difficult because companies like to play with their numbers so people buy their products. Thank you for what you do it does helps a lot.

I love Dave’s Killer bread - Power Seed. I put the entire loaf in the freezer. I only use 3 slices per week so that’s how I bag them. They defrost fairly quickly and freezing does not affect the quality. I have not wasted bread since I freeze it. I tried Ezekiel bread but I’m not choosing to buy it.

Good video. I have both the Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel bread and the Costco Oven Naturals Keto bread. I tend to eat the Keto Bread more frequently now because of the low carb, less sugar spike can't seem to get the scale to move when I eat carbs even good ones.
If you like Ezekiel regular bread, u gotta try their raisin one,, it’s awsum. TJ carries it .. the original Ezekiel is so hearty to eat anyways. Thx Bobby for helping me to make d decision to atleast try it as I had wrong ideas that it tastes like a cardboard as it’s gluten free..

Ezekiel bread at Trader Joes is about $3.50 a loaf here in Oregon. Sesame and Cinnamon Raisins are the only options I've seen.
Oregon must be the healthiest place to live . I only hear good things about living standards there!

Best economy bread from Aldis. Buy Flour, Butter, Yeast and Sugar. -3 cups, 2 tabs, 13/4 oz. 1 tbsp + non-iodine salt 2 tsp. Mix dry ingredients - add 1.5 cups warm water, mix/knead - rise@ 45minutes. Bake for 55 mins at 400F. For adds try molasses, ground almonds or mixed herbs (rosemary/thyme). White bread 1.5 lb loaf costs @ 23 cents.

As someone that also knows a lot of what you say is true for healthy eating. Although you don’t realize that surgar does not always cause diabetes and a lot of times it’s heredity as well and as you get older your chances get worse I have met a lot of diabetics that are healthy eaters and even some that eat Bobby approved healthy food and are diabetic it’s not always what you eat so please don’t scare people but do keep up the good ideas on healthier eating. You are awesome on your choices

Great information I feel better about deciding to go with Ezekiel bread over even the more expensive clean keto breads, I like a lot of things about the keto diet but I'm not stopping eating papaya in the morning just because is not keto friendly, and I will have some raw honey occasionally and fermented beets I'm more focused on gut health and digestive health and of course eating healthy all the way around, and you probably were in a hurry and forgot to mention low glycimec index on the Ezekiel bread and the Costco peanut butter is not just organic but the peanuts are Valencia organic peanuts the best one there is.

My Costco has a Kirkland peanut butter similar to the Nutzo one. I just finished it and threw out the jar. Wish I still had it to double check the ingredients. It was a great price though. Keep an eye out for it

make your own sourdough starter the longer and older it is alive the lower in GI it becomes the better it is for you in the long run. Only if you like the flavour of sourdough. I made my starter last year using organic sprout wheat flour and organic rye flour, i fed it sprouted wheat flour most days and some organic hard red wheat flour.

Have you tried the PB2 fit for you powder peanut butter and what did you think of it? A year ago my son was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at age 9 we are still learning to help him with good Carbs and bad. How the food affects his blood sugar levels. I'm always looking for natural or no sugar or sugar alcohol added to our food. It's getting difficult because companies like to play with their numbers so people buy their products. Thank you for what you do it does helps a lot.

I love Dave’s Killer bread - Power Seed. I put the entire loaf in the freezer. I only use 3 slices per week so that’s how I bag them. They defrost fairly quickly and freezing does not affect the quality. I have not wasted bread since I freeze it.

Good video. I have both the Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel bread and the Costco Oven Naturals Keto bread. I tend to eat the Keto Bread more frequently now because of the low carb, less sugar spike can't seem to get the scale to move when I eat carbs even good ones.

If you like Ezekiel regular bread, u gotta try their raisin one,, it’s awsum. TJ carries it .. the original Ezekiel is so hearty to eat anyways. Thx Bobby for helping me to make d decision to atleast try it as I had wrong ideas that it tastes like a cardboard as it’s gluten free..
Ekta Luthra, we agree that the Ezekiel Raisin Bread is awesome. It does have a much higher sugar (raisins) content tho.
Would peanut butter and bananas on Ezekiel bread toast be an unhealthy choice? It is fat, carbs, and sugar after all.
