Last year in october I had a heart attack. In December because I kept having problems the ER Doctor ordered a complete body scan and found that the possible cause of my unresolved problems were coming from sludge in my gallbladder. I went directly to your channel to see what you recommended to help me take steps to heal not remove the gallbladder. I also noted your suggestions on how to deal with high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Thank you for helping to save my life.

I just got supplies to make your cauliflower pizza. I’ve been eating keto ever since having gallbladder pain, the doctors said there are no stones so I suspect maybe sludge or low functioning, I will stick to keto, I’ve lost 15 pounds in 2.5 weeks and my kids are excited for me to make the pizza today! Also I gave my husband your gallbladder formula bile salts, he had his gallbladder removed last year and has had chronic diarrhea since, it immediately stopped his discomfort and he’s no longer getting diarrhea. Thank you!

As a third-generation olive oil producer from Southern Italy, I wholeheartedly agree with your insightful advice on identifying genuine extra virgin olive oil (EVOO).
Our family has been nurturing over 2000 ancient olive trees and crafting high-quality EVOO for decades. We ensure our oil is solely produced from olives we cultivate, ensuring a robust flavor profile - fruity, slightly grassy, and with a distinctive peppery kick. This is the signature of the highest quality EVOO.
You're absolutely right about oleocanthal. This anti-inflammatory compound is not only a marker of genuine EVOO but also plays a significant role in the myriad health benefits attributed to our beloved 'liquid gold'.
The cost of producing genuine EVOO indeed justifies a higher price point. When consumers understand the labor-intensive processes involved and the significant health benefits EVOO brings, the price makes sense.
We always emphasize the importance of transparency in the process. Our customers know the type of olives we use, our cold-press extraction method, and the exact harvest date, all of which contribute to the authenticity and quality of our product.
Finally, yes, glass containers are a must to preserve the integrity and longevity of EVOO.
Thank you for spreading awareness about the importance of choosing real extra virgin olive oil. Your points serve as a valuable guide for consumers navigating the sea of olive oil options. Let's continue to promote the value and authenticity of this natural wonder.

As a someone who own a land of olive oil in Morocco and used to always have olive oil for breakfast and cook my food with it since I young age.
Once I moved to the UK I was shocked that in 10 years I never was able to find real olive oil, bought all the expensive types from supermarkets but all of them were weak and dont taste nothing like olive oil.
I ended up shipping olive oil every year once I harvest my trees in Morocco.
People in UK don’t know much about olive oil and can’t know if it’s real or not since they are used to the fake taste of the one in the supermarkets also people here don’t seem to have the culture of the benefits of olive oil.
You can only know the difference when you taste the genuine one.
There is also a big difference between olive trees that grows with natural rain (rainfed agriculture) compared to the one growing with irrigation.
The bitter taste come from the green olives while the red intend to be less and black taste fruity.
The tree start all green if you harvest it that time then you will have a green olive oil but bitter and too much stronger also this will give you less oil, then later the olives become red then black, best time is when the tree contain a mix of all 3 colours, the black olives give more oil and don’t taste bitter.
Once harvested and pressed you get a light brown greenish olive oil, which contain the aroma of the 3 colours. With time (few months) the olive oil don’t taste less bitter but always (through the year) it will have the string taste of olives. (The one that you smell on the bones)
From my experience I can know the virginity of the olive oil just from the smell, once you open the bottle the strong cold smell hit your nose a sharp lightning sent (really sharp and cold) is felt travelling from your nose all the way in the canal and hit your throat, you will feel a slight burn on your throat. If you don’t feel this the olive oil is either fake or mixed or some very low quality. (The smell will always be there even if the olive oil is old by one year)

      @aber6441 2 года назад +16

@Herendill I havent tried all brands out there, only tried few expensive ones from the shelfs at the grocery shops and they were either +1 year old or low quality.
First if you bought it few days ago, means your olives oil were cultivated and pressed in Nov-Dec-Jan, it will be 3-4 months old by now. At this stage if you inhale it will pierce your nose it will be really Sharp and cold that you will immediately react once it hit your throat (remember you are not tasting anything you're only smelling) this effect will be there for 9-10 months, the older it gets the lesser the effect will be, after 1 year it will start to vanish and only warm smell left, the smell at the 1st months is strong but cold not warm.
If the olive oil is one year old there is no point buying it as new one comes each year. I advise to buy your olive oil for the whole year once you find a genuine seller either in mid Dec each year after the harvest. also the type of the tree plays a big part, you should always know whats the name of the tree you're olive oil are coming from.
      Mine is Picholine

You and Dr. Gundry are my two online family practitioners. Since April 4 2021 I have lost 115 pounds lowered my glucose, my blood pressure, gotten to a point where I sleep more than 8 hours every night, fast, and am curing my pre-diabetes and exercise everyday. Mina EVOO from Morocco is my preferred shot glass drink. I drink it two to three times a day. I drink a liter every two weeks. My bowels are a pleasant occurrence and my friends and acquaintances are beginning to ask questions. I eat only organic non-GMO. Oh, and something you should look into, I’d love to get your opinion about eating 30 spirilina algae tablets, 250 mg each, and 15 Chlorella tablets, 250 mg, each day. Those are 64% protein and contain 40 minerals vitamins and amino acids in each tablet. Almost like a meal. No dishes, no cooking, and they are food. Talk about about reducing the grocery bill too! Between fasting and eating the algae, non-Lectin foods and less dairy than in anytime in my life I probably eat around 700 calories a day if I don’t count the EVOO. ….and I am alive and more healthy than I have been in decades! I have had GERD all my life due to an issue with my esophageal sphincter not closing enough to keep stomach contents contained in the stomach. I started using extra virgin olive oil, as confirmed by the slight throat burn when swallowing it, on eggs, in salads or just a spoonful of it in the morning. I began noticing my GERD was a little worse, but that can happen anyway sometimes, so I didn’t think much of it, but it steadily got worse. I thought maybe it was the olive oil, so I stopped taking it for a few days and the GERD got better. Started using it again 2 days ago and now I feel worse GERD and nausea. I looked it up online and found out that olive oil ( and other fats) can loosen the esophageal sphincter and precipitate GERD in those who are so disposed. I have been using less than a tablespoon a day, but sadly, it appears I cannot even tolerate that. So I guess this is a word of caution for GERD sufferers.

It has diminished the leathery, feeling to the right and left of my nose that my skin had become but it took a long time it’s been four or five months of using it every single day I use it in my eyes it’s helped with, my eyesight, I’ve used it in my hair it’s helped with the growth of my hair on top of my head. I’ve used it on my chest for the wrinkly skin. You get at 65 years of age I’ve used it on my abdomen for abdominal pain that I’ve had, and all of them of helped

I have a friend who has lots of olive trees and I get olive oil directly from him. It's wonderful! I would never use anything else. Is it okay to have some olive oil while fasting?

I started taking 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil daily since January 10, 2023, per your recommendation for high blood pressure. It is April 04, 2023, as I am writing this. I have never taken any medications for high blood pressure. My pressure was 150-154 over 89-93. I am now having daily readings of 122-132 over 78-83. I did change a few other habits at the same time, like salt intake and completely eliminating caffeine from my diet. I also have added 2 tablespoons of flax seed to my diet daily also your recommendation from a different video and started walking about 1 1/2 miles a day. Anyway, all that said to say I have never felt better in my life. I do feel like you Dr. Eric Berg DC should get most of the credit because my doctor would only discuss medication. I don't drink or smoke and I carry no more than 10 lbs. of excess body weight. I don't take pills even when prescribed so I knew there had to be another way to lower this pressure.
Thank you, Doctor, for your dedication to the health by putting on these videos I am truly grateful.

I went down the Dr Berg youtube channel rabbit hole several months ago when I was looking into fasting. I was able to complete a 3, 7 and 9 day fast and I attribute much of the progress to the helpful insights I gleaned from his channel regarding supplements. I do not think I would have been successful without his electrolyte powder + a handful of other supplements I was taking. However, I may be misunderstanding his take on Extra Virgin Olive Oil: is extra virgin olive oil and Avocado oil actually good for you or merely the lesser of 2 evils, the other evil being all other oils. In other words, would my body be better off if I simply stopped adding olive/avocado oils to my diet. For Example, when I cook asaparagus on the grill in tin foil, I will add Braggs extra vigin olive oil, not because the asparagus will burn without the oil, but because I believe I am adding something that is actually beneficial to my body just like when I add nutritioanl yeast to my salad. THe nutritional yeast is good for me, in no way is it harmful. Is the oil, in any way harmful to my arteries/heart/blood pressure?
Why am I asking? I happened upon the following article, If you have time I would love to get the opinions of other people. I still thouroughly enjoy Dr Bergs videos but I wanted to make sure I was not incorrectly applying Dr Bergs advice.
