Warren has been a great player of the cornet and the fluegelhorn since high school. He playing skills have grown to match his waistline over the years. Roll on Warren >>>>>>>>>
I've had the tremendous pleasure of seeing Warren live in the West village. My mentor and Warren's close friend Don Hahn turned me onto him. What a truly amazing player
Terrific playing! Is it just me, or does Warren seem to not be happy with at least one of the other musicians? He sure gave a couple of nasty glares at someone.
Nothing wrong with Warren's trumpet sound. It's a trumpet...supposed to be bright, etc. I'd love jazz lessons with this guy. Been a long time for me as my teacher passed away a few years ago.
*Love* Vache's gentle facility in the upper register. Amazing.

Reminds me so much of the master CT but with a unique sound and dexterity. What a gem Warren Vache is, such a fabulous cornett/tpt/flg player
This is a nice take on Cherokee! Warren Vache, John Allred and both Sax...awesome!
Never heard Warren on Flugelhorn. I should have known he'd be just as good no matter if it was a tuned kazoo. Great Warren!
It's actually rather more difficult to do this on a kazoo than on a Flügelhorn!
Hi’ - Bebop will “ Never ‘ Die” when you hear “Solos” like this ,-Cheers to ALL .
This is an amazing performance by all.
These soloists play with great taste. Flaboyant is the right word. I'm saving this one.
Warren is a master of cornet AND flugelhorn. He is world class plus.
After two notes you know your in for a treat!!!
True masters at work... Jazz is learned over a lifetime !!!
just getting turned onto warren vache. really enjoy this.
Great! Super group!
John Allred is bursting his bone
Thats so cool I thought it was a trombone at first .
fantastic performance...
Nice turn by Jesse Davis. Revelation!
Marvelous!
Very nice!
Wow!
Que chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulo !
Fantastic!
... musica per le mie orecchie...
Oh, Alvin Queen on drums!
warren has the best sound on the fluegelhorn ive ever heard
American jazz, it just fricken works...
heavens knows if I wanted to have such control on improvisation
Club owner to young jazz player friend, "Hey, you want take a chorus?"
"Uh, no thanks, I think I've got a headache."
bebop is the music of the future!
S738226 😐we wish
Thanks to Alvin Queen to make that swing
Then Vaché kills it all in solo...
Seems to be mellow sounds. Cornet and flugelhorn.
Anyone else think Warren looks like Dr. Phil in this?
Terrific playing!
Is it just me, or does Warren seem to not be happy with at least one of the other musicians? He sure gave a couple of nasty glares at someone.
He's totally having a ball! He's riffing with everybody behind solos, mopping Keter's head, doing a relay-race hand-off to Bill Easley - Fun!

Better impossible!
in my opinion he surpasses Chuck Mangione
Alto player sounds like cannonball.
His tone yes, and physical shape as well.
Something from bird to stitt with a cannonball addiction.
Warren has SUCH a bright tone on trumpet! I see why he sticks with cornet as his main axe. His flugel sound isn't realy that mellow either!
