The atmosphere in this entire album is unreal. One of the most underrated albums that i know of.
I am absolutely loving the new sound of Cellar Darling. The music is beautiful, vocals are so clean, the videos are mesmerizing and the overall theme has just captured my attention!

Vocal performance is the true strength behind this band
I think both or one of her parents are trained classical singers. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
The strenght behind this band is that they are absolutly loving what they do and have fun. They all are very very skilled musicians. Merlin is one of the tightest, powerful drummers i know and Sure Annas Vocals are absolutly amazing. But its the whole package thats amazing. I met them once, talked to them... couldnt believe how relaxed and happy they were :)
And the Hurdy Gurdyness.
When you see them all on stage, they all play part to a great sound,, all good musicians and one clear powerful singer,,,, fusion of good music,,,,, great shout from my friend to go and see Live,,,,
No she is a prodigy. Her band is just ok. She basically like prince.

At 1:13 it gives me chills everywhere and tears in my eyes... This is still The Sound
My body was not ready for that moment. That diminished 5th/minor 6th combo jumping up to the full octave slices the soul in 2 and puts it back together in a more complete way. I'm still recovering

It's flawless. This song calls to the most mysterious parts of a soul. When you hear it you stop your existence as a body and start to meld with these magical sounds and voices... Unbelievable.

Progressive Post-Doom Melodic Metal
It's a mix of doom sludge, folk and nu metal. Definitely a nu metal sound in the guitars.
@@jhonnytisca it has alot of nu metal in it too. Like folk doom nu metal. Guitars are definitely nu metal. Vocals hurdy gurdy doom.

I love that the somber, melancholic, apocalyptic vibe of the first album is continued, but this time with a more psychedelic, trancey atmosphere :3

Any ideas on what the sigils mean during the sigil flash ? I mean the lyrics and song title literally tell you a spell is being cast elusively, and then, lo and behold sigil runes are found within the artistry. I'd love to know their origins and meanings.

I discovered this song on my way to work as I was listening to their album. I kept replaying this on the rest of the way to work...then all the way back from work, then at home while showering .... Its amazing
In spanish: El sonido de Cellar Darling ha evolucionado de manera positiva. Recuerdo los primeros singles (sencillos) en los cuales se apostaba a una mezcla de sonidos entre atmosférico, metal y blues, en los cuales, pese a ser llamativos, costaba definir a donde apuntaban; sin embargo el sonido, la temática se ha enfocado, como me he venido dando cuenta, en la nostalgia del sonido, la evocación de sentimientos internos basados en lo sombrio pero también en la melancolía de una esperanza. Es un excelente concepto y la innovación en los adelantos de los tracks y del video marcan una diferencia con otras bandas, dándole una identidad absolutamente propia a Cellar Darling. Buen trabajo.
Si algún día tienes la oportunidad de escucharlos en vivo, te vas a sorprender, es increíble!

@@jamesnix078 yo tuve la oportunidad de verlos en Panamá cuando estaban de gira el año pasado para octubre, fue una maravillosa experiencia. Para mí en vivo son igual de buenos.

Eluveitie at Billboards Melbourne Australia 24-05-2013 Helvetios tour . what sound , atmosphere and the best digital lighting back drop I've ever seen . then there was Anna on the Gallic frontline to ice the cake of the show. Mesmerizing. The sky was falling, yeah on us all.

Haunting voice, excellent bass sound.
What a unique sound. It's almost like a folky Tool. The sections at 1:35 and 3:02 remind me so much of Tool but with the Anna's beautiful vocals and hurdy gurdy on top. Her voice is reminiscent of Anneke from the Gathering at times. I've heard some of this bands older stuff but this new album seems to be much more Progressive. A change for the better in my opinion. Looking forward to checking the rest of the album out!

The new album is just excellent. I always loved Anna's vocals but the music did not always rise up to her level. In this album, it does and then some. Just wow! The best thing these gal and guys have ever done.
