I love the building intensity of the album. Insomnia is the moment when the tension reaches a breaking point (fitting given its easily the album's heaviest moment) and how from then on, the tone is more sorrowful, intense, and dark. This song in particular epitomizes that feeling, all perfectly accented by Anna's enchanting and mystical-sounding vocals.
Anna Murphy is definitely one of the best singers currently. Her voice is so unique

quite some people compare her to Anneke so I guess her voice is not that unique. I do like her singing tho
ANd she also plays her own instruments, compose, writes her own lyrics and edits her own albums :O
She is the complete package of a musician and that makes her superior to all of other females singers in metal bands...
We need more woman like her.

This song has an incredibly The Gathering's Nighttime Birds vibes. Anna's voice sounds very similar to Anneke's one too.

I love the style of this song how it goes from being kind of like a siren song to being hard rock. It kinda reminds me of old evanescence a little bit but with a more folky sound. I love it.

Every Song getting released here so far i am like: Ok that is unexpected and super amazing. I guess thats how the rest of the Album will sound?... and then the next Song comes... Nope.. they all have a somewhat unique Style. This might be the best Album i have heard in years for me personally. So much variety and fine distinct sounds .. thats on porcupine Tree level of Songwriting. And you still kept the Folk parts in it and that makes you even more unique. Im simply impressed so far. As a Fan of you guys, this kind of music, a musician and a human being. Loving it!
I love the harmony between of the song and song's name... Okay okay I know every song 've that but this is different. You can feel the "Drown" with your ears, It comes fast and painful then the end of the song it s slowing down and down like the end of drowning that reached serenity, the end of pain (ah my english is not enough to tell this)

Yeah it definitely Djents a bit. Even though it’s pretty much the same chords over and over again. It’s not overdone but it just makes the song sound a bit heavier than it really is.
