One of the saddest days of my life was when this band visited Rio de Janeiro and I had a ticket to see their show, but because of a shooting between drug dealers and the police in my neighbourhood I couldn't leave home, and couldn't be at their concert. I expect they to come back one day. But I know it won't be the same, cause they played almost all the first album, and with two albuns released, musics played in the first show in Rio, probably will not be played again. :'(

I cannot even imagine having to deal with that when I walk out my front door. I am sorry that you have to even experience the level of violence that you have and continue to do. It's like a melting pot of Tool, Opeth, the Gathering, Black Sabbath and Steven Wilson. I dig it. A lot. Great songwriting - much improved over their debut in my opinion. I'm seriously enjoying this proggy doomy goodness.
Don't forget Lacuna Coil.
Anna Murphy and Cristina Scabbia both have beautiful haunting voices.
I like Lacuna Coil, Tool and Opeth, so it's no coincidence I like Cellar Darling and love this song.
It's actually more alike to Dream Theater than any of those you mentioned

That's what Eluveitie lost when Anne left, along with her amazing voice. Her personality and the infectious energy she conveys can't be replaced or substituted. Her replacement(s) are great, but they aren't Anna.

Travelled for 10 hours to get to London to see Cellar Darling with Kamelot at the start of last month (after missing them last year). Now we're getting new songs and they keep getting better...I need to make it to one of those gigs
I was there, too. Bought tickets because I love Kamelot; had no idea Cellar Darling and Leaves Eyes were also playing. Three bands I love, when I was only expecting one. Was a fucking great night

I cannot describe in tangible terms the amount of emotional support Anna and the rest of Cellar Darling have given me.

What's great is that I really enjoy what Anna and this band is doing and I also enjoy what Eluveitie has been doing as well. Anna is a great artist and deserved more of her own identity in the music scene which is exactly what she's doing. Thumbs up!
I just realised that in the end of the video, after the "you are the water to my fire" and "I will not sleep until you hold me", there are two hands that get near the fire as if they want to hold it so that the fire/the girl can finally sleep. Love to see this band get a larger fan base. A super popular rock band like Within Temptation should have Cellar Darling on their tour next year. A band like that would expose Cellar Darling to more fans and greatly increase Cellar Darling's fan base and record sales.
