    Hello tanaka! I have a question I've been meaning to ask since i found this video. When saying phrases in Japanese, are there different phrases for different nouns or adjectives with the same word? For example when calling somebody old vs saying that something is old. Is there a different phrase? Thank you and have a great day!! 😄❤️✨

      Allow me to answer your question 古い furui is used only for things, but never use it to describe a person. You may refer to an old person as 老人 Rōjin.

    I have a question. You have "Yamadasan wa hito warui janai desu." But isn't "warui an "I" adjective? Shouldn't it be "warukunai desu"?

    • @abigail35825
      @abigail35825 4 месяца назад +1

      in the sentence they actually have wrote 山田さんは悪い人じゃないです。(“Yamada-san wa warui hito janai desu”) and janai follows nouns (and na adjectives)- in this sentence it follows “hito”. you are right about kunai following “i” adjectives, however it isn’t applicable to this sentence. but i’m not too sure myself, my japanese is rusty hehe, though i hope this helps!

    • @amyr3285
      @amyr3285 4 месяца назад +1

      @@abigail35825 Right, I think I may have typed my sentence wrong because it should have been "Yamadasan wa warui hito janai desu". But I thought because it is an i adjective, it should be "warukunai"--I'll ask my teacher also! Thanks!!
