@@Kamal_AL-Hinai In case you don't get a response, allow me to provide. So, I am not a fluent speaker and am only a beginning student, so I did run this through a translator. It is very hard to tell what some things mean without kana, however according to the translator, I got this... "You Japanese idiot, thank you for being in my life" I have absolutely no idea if it is correct or what context this sentence would be used in, but that's what google translate said. However, you cannot always rely on Romaji (Japanese roman), being that without the use of kana and especially kanji, it removes a lot of the sentence's obvious meaning. For example, Shiro means both the colour White and Castle, as in the surname Nanashiro, meaning Seven-Castle. But without context, it can technically mean either being the lack of Kanji or Hiragana. I hope this helped. :)

small fact: gomen is short for gomennasai. also, as i remember; majika can also be used as "really?" but mostly used in a negative form such as "seriously?" ikou can be used as "lets go" and ikoka can be used as "shall we go?".
Thank you for including kanji words in your video. A lot of videos on RUclips don't introduce us to kanji words so it's harder for us to understand, learn and use kanji in words/sentences.
Thank you! I'm attempting to study Japanese by myself (there's no locations that I could ask for Japanese classes around me) and it has been very difficult. Thank you once more.
Hello Tanaka san!.. I've been in Japan for 3 years as an intern and also started my vlog teaching basic Japanese. Your channel is a big help for me to refresh my Japanese skills as well. Thank you so much!! 🥰
Watching this made me realize how much japanese i actually know! I use duolingo and started reading mangas to learn japanese, i figured it would be an impressive second language, i recognized a lot of the words
I heard that japanese people don’t use “Genki” or “Ogenki desuka” because it’s a way of saying “How have you BEEN?” To the person that you haven’t seen in a long time, So it’s not the “How are you” to use on someone you are meeting often.
@@alwayscorrect5403 I am a young Japanese man. I'm using Google Translate. I sometimes ask Frank about "genki datta?" (Did you feel well while you weren't meeting) to a friend you met after a long time. In my opinion, there is no "genki?" Used for casual greetings such as "How are you" in everyday life. I'm sorry if the answer doesn't follow the question.
It's really helpful to know that a lot of simple phrases about asking somebody boil down to: "Good?" "Good." "Understood?" "Understood." as in Wakatta would be the same word, but a different intonation changes the meaning a lot. Thank you for the video!
What I learned from this video? •Easy informal words/sentences •double t is prolonged in japanese This pushed me to go to learn Japanese, maybe in the place I am or in your videos
This is very useful, thank you so much. I've been learning Japanese in a 1-on-1 environment and we cover a lot of language, but it is always formal and follows a question/answer format meaning a lot of this language isnt included. Furthermore, textbooks don't teach this type of vocabulary because, once again, they stick to more formal conversational structures. However, I'm now in Japan for a month trying to improve my language skills in anticipation of moving here permanently in the next year or so and it's been very helpful to get additional instruction on this type of casual speech. だから本当にありがとうございます!
This video was exactly what I needed to learn informal Japanese! I’ve been wanting to learn this from anime/drama but it was difficult. But this video was easy to understand and extremely helpful ❤️ I always love learning from your page and channel. Thank you for making this video. 田中先生ありがとうございます。😊

I enjoyed watching this. It is important to note that this is informal Japanese vocabulary, so don't use it with a boss or teacher. This vocabulary is better suited to be used with close friends and family.

But with 5 months of learning Japanese for now, i can understand some of this video but the problem is i can’t remember it when I need to use them
The fastest way to master Japanese conversation is to watch "Yukkuri Jikkyou". (Because they have subtitles in all their remarks, and there are some Japanese jokes etc.)
I made a quizlet with all the phrases and the hiragana for them. Just search the title of the video :) I love this format and have been watching this video twice a day and using my quizlet until I feel completely confident I know these. Thank you Tanaka san!

thank you for thiss!! ive been learning formal bc yk i wanna go to Japan, and so does my family. just incase i make a few friends id be using informal japanese!!
Pronunciation of Japanese words for me is quite easy, that's because I'm a South African. When you speak out the alphabet in Afrikaans then it sounds completely different in English but the letters sounds almost identical in Japanese, that's why I find Japanese speech relatively easy.
Funny how most of the phrases in japanese i kind of knew most of it it prolly because i used to watch too much anime (more than thousands of anime in mal last time i checked) and played quite a lot of visual novel back then. Recently i have been learning to read common japanese phrases with kanji and this actually helps me a lot in identifying the kanji used in common informal conversation. My initial goal is to actually being able to read japanese visual novel that does not have english localisation, might take a few years but starting with something is better than nothing at all. Hopefully my determination does not died out early xD
I'm currently learning Japanese through the Genki books and some of these are in there and some aren't! I would assume traditional textbooks would teach you how to speak the most formal way as possible, even with your friends lol

Watching this made me realize how much japanese i actually know! I use duolingo and started reading mangas to learn japanese, i figured it would be an impressive second language, i recognized a lot of the words
This video is so cute to watch and the phrases are easy for beginners like me to follow ❤ Thanks a lot!! ありがとうございます ~
I heard that japanese people don’t use “Genki” or “Ogenki desuka” because it’s a way of saying “How have you BEEN?” To the person that you haven’t seen in a long time, So it’s not the “How are you” to use on someone you are meeting often.
That's right. "How are you?", Which is used to say hello in English, feels strange when used in Japanese as well.
Which “How are you” should I you use in that case?
Cause you are not Japanese lmao
@@alwayscorrect5403 I am a young Japanese man. I'm using Google Translate. I sometimes ask Frank about "genki datta?" (Did you feel well while you weren't meeting) to a friend you met after a long time. In my opinion, there is no "genki?" Used for casual greetings such as "How are you" in everyday life. I'm sorry if the answer doesn't follow the question.

It's really helpful to know that a lot of simple phrases about asking somebody boil down to:
"Good?"
"Good."
"Understood?"
"Understood."
as in Wakatta would be the same word, but a different intonation changes the meaning a lot. Thank you for the video!

I hope it’s going well! がんばれ!
I'm currently learning Japanese through the Genki books and some of these are in there and some aren't! I would assume traditional textbooks would teach you how to speak the most formal way as possible, even with your friends lol
