I love how they still claim the visor is "scratch-free" when it fact the outer side scratches so easily 😭 I double bag my Pass to protect it when not in use.
The inside of the bag (softer) they supply can be used to wipe the visor, just blow warm air and wipe 🤙🏼 and I use the outer of the bag to wipe the helmet itself.

Hows the fit? Some people report it comes in a bit small. I'm right at 58cm, between M and L for that helm.

@Cons2911 I ended up getting a Predator helmet. And it is awesome. Probably similar in most respects to TSG, but no complaints. Predator company had to replace the original one I bought due to a defect , but company response is top notch.
@@CircuitMage ok, I’m in Southeast Asia, it’s not easy to find those brands here. I didn’t find a tsg pass, but not the color I want. They have incoming pass pro but no t until July. I do have my bell helmet so I’m good but those look really nice and it also means I won’t have to bring sunglasses

The problem with these is that they are downhill skateboarding helmets meant for you to be in a crouching position. When you use them on other things like scooters, etc., on a sunny day, you are constantly blinded by light

Wear mine on the electric unicycle.. but I always wonder if it will hold up in a hard crash.
I think it depends on how fast and how hard the impact is. They’re made for downhill skateboarding, so I would say it’d probably be alright. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I've read that the TSG is rated for a 25mph crash. So if your traveling 30mph and up usually like me, then you need to retire your TSG and get a Motorcycle helmet. I'm conflicted between a Ruroc Atlas 4.0 and an AGV K6 right now. I have a Dualtron Thunder 2 and usually casually travel between 32 and 50mph. A TSG Pass helmet unfortunately won't protect me at these speeds.

I don't think it's certified 20 mph and above. It's a skateboarding helmet. I would imagine it's 15 mph protection.
Yea, mainly made for downhill skaters, so I’m sure it’s at least 15-20mph, if not more, as downhill gets quite a bit of speed. They’re quite effective though from what I’ve seen from crash posts on socials. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

Why isn’t this helmet DOT?
It’s not made for motorcycles, and intended originally for downhill skaters.

@@Sean-vf7qr I guess that would be a question to ask the manufacturer? I’m fine with it as it’s high quality and high enough crash protection for what I do. It’s much lighter than a full DOT motorcycle helmet and better suited for electric skateboards, so if you need full DOT certification, I would definitely suggest a different helmet. Cost is relative. What one person sees as value and worth the cost, another will balk at. It’s up to you what works and is a good value.
DOT doesnt mean anything, in the car/moto world its a joke to say a helmet looks DOT approved. DOT is SELF REPORTED, I could make a helmet out of feathers taped together and get DOT certification.

I've been quite happy with it myself. The visor...well, that's sorta to be expected with any full face helmet. With proper care, it should last a good long time. And they're easily swapped. I do respect your thoughts on it though! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
