Bravo! That was excellent! I’m looking forward to everything you’re going to do in the future. Man you had me cracking up 😂 A pond is the opposite of an island. If you can get lost on an island, stay out of ponds! In my 30+ years as a first responder and rescue technician, I’ve never recovered a flat water “drowning victim” that was wearing a PFD
LOL, trust me, I controlled my comments. I wanted to rip several apart. At this point, it serves no purpose. The ones that follow them and the bs trail certainly don't actually do this stuff. Be well bro.
Seasons closing down and I'm ready for spring, Our land is different and I run mostly small streams, I need to be more organize which I'm working on. I always take too much stuff. Our local fish people are dropping trees in the streams to encourage fish habitat etc, which adds to a simple down stream run at times so hopping on the same stream.
Whoa slow down I have too much hunting to do spring will come lol! Honestly I can't wait for my new canoe specifically made for this pond hopping. I'm gonna trim this down further just to see at least once how many miles of ponds in a day I can do! Until then I will sip Scotch and dream of paddling after hunting this fall and winter ha!
Nice set up and nice video. I no longer use traditional canvas canoe packs, no matter how lovely they may be…. A good dry bag just makes more sense and is lighter also. HPG Mountain Serape! Good stuff. I use the Osni cloak by Wilderness Innovation but it is the same concept. Multi purpose. Missouri stream paddler here. Look forward to more videos from you.
Thank you sir, don't get me wrong if I'm going on a long trip and I'm in a 16 foot canoe I'll still use some traditional gear that's in other videos but for hop cruising yeah lightweight is a must. I've not heard of your Osni will look it up. Happy paddling!
Thanks for watching Jeff. Yeah the system works but you know everything evolves so I will be changing it when I find better options but the core will remain.

Great information! For anyone that hasn’t been in canoeing like myself is a great starting point.
Absolutely! Folks can use it as a jumping point to develop what works for them

Thanks man! I'm working on a follow-up.
Thank you for sharing another informative video. Do you sell any of the gear that you produce? Thank you.
Yes I do! You need to go to my IG or FB business page I usually post things there. What are you interested in?
That's one sexy knife 🔪 😊
