Nice. Just nice. So restrained - I usually overplay the heck out of that bassline. No chance of a cover of Fire on Babylon in the pipeline is there? Regards, W.
Greetings Amanda, A beautiful cover of a beautiful song. Very well done. I hope that your musical journey has taken you to where you want to go! Do you play in a band?
Thanks for your kind words! I usually play in a local band playing big band standard charts but had to take a leave this year as I'm in night school but I'll have my chair back next year. Thanks for popping by and cheers from Canada.
@@AmandaRogersarock1988 Hi Again Amanda. Thanks for your reply! I seen that you are from Canada, so I have a little story I`d like to share with you. I`m a bass player also. I own a few Fenders ....p bass and jazz, a Gibson, a Peavey, and a Burns London. Last week I bought myself an Eastwood//(Made in Canada} modeled after the Mosrite. Let me tell you...right out of the box this is by far and away, the best sounding, best looking, bass I have ever played! It has such a warm, deep, clean sound. I`m still in awe of this bass. I even talked the dealer down to $850, while the retail was right at a grand ! If you ever have the chance to test drive one at your local music store...do so...I think you will be suprised! You play big band music? Can you give me an example? Again Amanda...I hope you dont mind me messaging you back....I`m a friendly person who loves to meet new people and learn about them...especially fellow musicians! Have a great evening and best of luck to you in school! Raymond (Florida.}
@@EAP7708 thanks so much -- I'm training to work as a clerk in the hospital so it's lots of theory, medical terminology, pharmacolgy and other paperwork! Some examples of the music we play Big Band style.. think Glenn Miller style but also more current stuff. Some of our sets have stuff like Sing, Sing Sing, In the Mood but also band arrangements of Uptown Funk and stuff like Sir Duke. When I Fall In Love...all that fun stuff. A female vocalist heads some of our tunes and we do other stuff (like around Valentine's 'My Funny Valentine') etc. And I have heard of Eastwoods, just never had the chance to play any of 'em (I live on an Island in BC) but if I ever come across one, I'll totally give it a spin. Usually rock Yamaha's and my Fender Jazz -- though I keep looking at gettng a 5 string of some sort (whatever it is, it's got to have character). Also have a fun little short scale Gretsch that sounds so full it's crazy. Thanks again and I don't mind the message! Happy bass playing! Amanda
@@EAP7708 Muay Thai. It is another passion... I started a few years ago but have a lot to learn as I'm not very good at it lol. But its friggin wonderful!
Hey there! I didn't actually use a tab for it. A site that may help you is chordify.net - you can play along with the chords as long as you know the notes that make up the chord you should be ok. 😄
Hey Mark maybe in the future, but that songs not currently on the horizon. I don't think the angle gets any better than seeing both hands and the notes being played, (this is my preferred angle for those reasons). Thanks for watching!
It's an elegant line and you did a great job with it. Thank you.
I absolutely love everything about this! Well done.
Thanks so much!
Great job, I have to learn this for a very short notice gig, this has been really helpful. Thanks for posting

Great job on the song. Cheers!
I still come back to this video, your calm and style is great!
Hi. Nice version. It also sounds good if the second note is an E rather than a C. It’s a C chord but an E bass on the record I think?
