At least it's clear. Thanks a lot for the clarification. I was hoping that waiting will enable some kind of seat belt so that Niko won't fly through the wind shield no more. Maybe gta 6 will bring such thing.
From what I've inferred, here's the thing: it's NOT a game feature, but a feature from the trainers. They have an option to toggle seatbelt on or off, which actually meant disabling the head-on ejection and vice versa. You can even disable the ragdoll from the trainer if you want to, so yeah.
Bro this is some "Mandela effect" happening here i swear GTA 4 had a seat belt mechanic with an animation for it just like there's an animation for putting on a helmet when you get on a bike I remember it distinctly I used it often.
I need to pull up GTAIV, I swear either IV or V has seatbelts, weather it’s waiting, holding Y when getting in or in the trainer menu. Wonder if I still have a working 360 lol
@@fatbroccoli8 a seat belt would prevent you from being launched out of the car in a collision like that. Seat belts don't exist in GTA IV, the game has a hidden random calculator based on the speed and the kind of collision that will decide if the player is launched away or not, you can test it yourself.
@@YellowBriefs We aren't talking about real life seatbelts though.... I already tested it when I played the game for 200's of hours at launch, maybe they've changed it since or maybe it's different on PC, it reliably worked for me, just not when trying to fly through the windscreen like you were.
@@fatbroccoli8 so you're saying the seat belt would prevent you from being launched away at low speed collisions but not at high speed? Makes no sense. I've been playing since launch day on PS3 and has always been like this.

The idea is really cool! It is a pity that it did not work. Thanks for the tests!
hi bro what program do u use to record the screen?
With Nvidia Shadowplay (Alt + F9). You can adjust the settings from Nvidia GeForce Experience.

Only possible with a trainer or mod, none of the GTAs include seatbelts
