This song would play in my head as I remember seeing this commercial as a little boy. It was so long ago that seeing this now is like a confirmation that era was real and not just a dream. The 90s were great. We had an excellent childhood.
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. When I was singing the commercials, it just made sense to me to say "Bat-tles" rather than pronouncing it "Baddles" like the producers wanted. I remember having a conversation with the producers about how to sing the word "Battle". I decided to sing it with the emphasis on the word "Bat", as a reference to Bat Man. Initially, they wanted me to pronounce it like "baddle". I am happy they agreed with me. Thanks, Rek Anthony

I'm surprised you even got that far. Like two minutes into the game you can only progress by standing in a certain spot and pressing a very specific button combination in order to use the grappling hook, a button combination that you could only find out about by reading the instruction manual. Meaning that if you were like me and rented a game, you gave up and went back to playin Donkey Kong Country or whatever.
Wouldn't it be messed up if Batman just straight fall, just imagine he grabs his cap and glides of that roof and starts to fall like "oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt" lol
One of the last games Sega Genesis ever released, as well as one of the first games Sony Playstation released; I have never played this game, but I've played on and enjoyed both those systems. I remember this commercial more than anything for that great theme song "The Real Game Begins," which was inspired by a line from the movie itself. Why couldn't THAT have been on an already awesome soundtrack?
Well I wouldn't say last Sega Genesis games, Genesis did have a life cycle until 1998, and unfortunately this wasn't on the PS1 unless you're thinking about The Batman Forever Arcade game which came out in late '96.

I had this movie on VHS, this commercial would come on before the movie played, I remember being mesmerised and wanting the game so much, never thought I would see this commercial again but RUclips is an amazing thing! I will say though, the urge I once had to buy and play this game isn't quite as, shall we say, strong as it once was 😂

Hi, When I sang the vocals for the commercial there were three versions, but there is no full song. The other versions were for radio, and an alternate style, which just had more info about the game. The radio copy had to explain the 3D graphics, levels and other features of the game as there was no video for radio. It is a pretty cool jingle because I had a lot of freedom with the melody. Unfortunately, I don't own any rights to the lyrics or melody, so I can't use them.

@gedaman it's just a image it's used to show you when the game will return to be able to play, you can see this by using the zsnes emulator and pressing the "console" button. this image passes very fast if was a loading time the emulator would stop working some seconds, like happen in Street fighter alpha 2

I remember this commercial, got the game on the SNES for Christmas in 95. Terrible fucking game. I can get to the last boss on Easy mode but then I quickly lose like 10 lives on the last level. Fucking insane difficulty curve as the game goes on.
