Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. When I was singing the commercials, it just made sense to me to say "Bat-tles" rather than pronouncing it "Baddles" like the producers wanted. It took a while for it to sink in, but I am happy Acclaim went with it, and I think it helped the commercial. Best, Rek Anthony

Basic rule of thumb.....anytime you see a shot of Batman and Robin that isn't a direct closeup.......odds are......it's a stunt double. So no......I can assure you that wasn't Val Kilmer and Chris O'Donnell. However, I am willing to bet that this was shot on the set while they were filming the movie.

    Hi,
When I sang the vocals for the commercial there were three versions, but there is no full song. The other versions were for radio, and an alternate style, which just had more info about the game. The radio copy had to explain the 3D graphics, levels and other features of the game as there was no video for radio.
It is a pretty cool jingle because I had a lot of freedom with the melody. Unfortunately, I don't own any rights to the lyrics or melody, so I can't use them.

Yes! It was on the Batman Forever VHS with the trailers for Black Beauty, that one about the penguin and the stone and other shite that wouldn't appeal to a young boy.

"Batman Forever" could have been better if Tim Burton and Michael Keaton were still involved in the 90s franchise.

Awww, I love this advert. The game itself was way too hard (the controls on the SNES version were all messed up) but I remember thinking that the advert was awesome!

@gedaman it's just a image it's used to show you when the game will return to be able to play, you can see this by using the zsnes emulator and pressing the "console" button. this image passes very fast if was a loading time the emulator would stop working some seconds, like happen in Street fighter alpha 2

I remember this playing on the VHS before the movie too. It may have been the first time I realised that the Mega Drive was called the Genesis in the USA. The game was good but too hard. I never did manage to use the slippery goo gun, something like LEFT-LEFT-UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT-DOWN-DOWN-UP-LEFT-RIGHT-RIGHT-A....

I Liked playing this for about the first 20mins after owning it, I might have kept playing it if the game had some save points, I got so frustrated trying to go back over what i had just done over and over again.

I remember this commercial, got the game on the SNES for Christmas in 95. Terrible fucking game. I can get to the last boss on Easy mode but then I quickly lose like 10 lives on the last level. Fucking insane difficulty curve as the game goes on.
