I learnt to play open hi hat along with Clem on Heart Of Glass- age 12. Thanks Clem.
clem burke you are one bad ass drummer
so glad to hear Earl Palmer sighted as a huge influence. whenever i mention him, most drummers look at me like 'huh?", and it bums me out. i've loved him since i was a kid just starting to play -thanks to my mom's Little Richard records, and together he and Earl taught me how rock & roll should feel, no matter how it sounds

Though I did start off learning drums (which assisted my
timing greatly) I'm simply a guitar/strings player.
Though I feel Clem Burke's drumming is way underrated.
He is listed at 61 by Rolling Stone list of 101 best all time
drummers(next to the predictable Max Weinberg)
Not so much for technical prowess but for his precision,
punchiness & feeling the guy is able to commit.
Clem's fantastico on Atomic!
Clem knows.
Verey good muito bom D +++++++ Driming fera
I thought you might say Mooney but I agree Bonham is a much bigger influence for serious drummers though I would say he was more heavily influenced by Joe Morello
Elvis Ramone
He never mentioned Moon !
You know...
I love his wig. But he should still be wearing a black one.
That's his real hair.
