"Sometimes mistakes are the best parts of things." He's such an immensely intelligent drummer, funny, spontaneous....and he just refuses to believe he's any more important than any other person on earth. That's what I like best about him.
As a kid I loved Blondie,Debbie ( obviously) and Clem,so as a young drummer I'd noticed Clem sometimes leading with the left and now I know why. Cool!!!

He can definitely make some noise! I can't imagine Blondie without him - his drums is the instrument that my ears end up gravitating to the most when listening to Blondie music.

Little bright but nice kit. I like how he mentioned how sometimes "mistakes" can turn out to be best part of the show. Bill Bruford said it best: When I don't see a band make any mistakes playing live, I know they aren't giving it 110%. Well said.

Clem should play all the Blondie songs in one\continuous. That would be great to hear. Just the drumming.

Wow. I noticed him leading with his left on Blondie songs, and was thinking that was just how Ringo Starr did it. It make sense that he’s left handed. It is interesting that it is more comfortable for him to lead with his left and end on a paradiddle than it is to just lead with his right. In any case, it leads to some interesting phrasing, and it makes his playing distinctive.
Clem is a legend. One tiny correction --- that is a 6.5" x 14" Ludwig Black Beauty.
