Hey bud! Former percussionist and tenor player here , great video and I like that you were aware of your mistakes so you can fix those in the future. If I was to give one tip I would say always keep your pinky fingers on your sticks like it’s life or death. You mentioned you slowed down in a certain part and losing control of the sticks on ur back fingers makes your stick fly upwards to much causing you to slow down. When you lose control of the sticks they will go everywhere making it harder to hit the drum on time. So keep your fingers on the sticks at all time and that will help you control your sticks 100x better. And watch the height of your sticks, don’t let them go to high up or you will lose time. Work on some Accent Tap warmups to help you build that muscle and stick control. You can easily find an accent tap warmup on RUclips or google.
