Truth = "It was mandatory for me to help with the gameday broadcast of the entire Stanford Cardinals team"
Statement = "He's my favorite player"
Truth = "I'm a reporter who has to remain unbiased, yet today I'll eschew that under the vane of good PR"
Elias how are either of those statements a lie? she covered him whilst covering the team, mandatory or not. and just because she has to remain unbiased doesn't mean she doesn't have a favorite. her job dictates that she has to be unbiased, not herself.
Come on, Serling. My original post shows how she spun the truth in an attempt to score some positive PR for herself. Nevertheless:
► Tell me when/how Richard Sherman was a noteworthy enough story (during his college career) to incite Erin Andrews' employer to "cover him"? Note: Sherman was a *5th* Round NFL Draft Pick.
► Let me know if/when Mrs. Andrews ever elaborates on why/when Richard Sherman became her "favorite player".
Elias Elias 1st point: the mission was not to cover Sherman, but to cover the team. by virtue of that she was able to keep an eye on Sherman the player. he was a notable Stanford standout.
2nd point: why does she need to elaborate? just because she says it does it make it a lie? if I said goodfellas is my favorite film, am I lying?
Serling, let's reel this thing in here.
1.) Did she cover Sherman in college or did she do routine work during Stanford Cardinals matches?
2.) Do you believe her 2nd statement (that "Richard Sherman is my favorite NFL player")?
1.) I don't see the difference at all. If I get intern work with the Patriots to cover the matches and a few post game interviews, I am WELL within my right to say "I covered Brady" "I covered Gronkowski" "I covered Edelman" "I covered Bill" "I covered Blount". What job on earth would ever say "Hey Erin, ONLY cover Sherman. No one else. We don't really care about the whole, you know, team thing. Just keep an eye on Sherman."
2.) I don't see why she would lie or why she would be possessed to lie. Sherman was notoriously hated by many at this time (the Crabtree fiasco) and admitting that he is her favorite player would have done no favors for herself. Do I believe her? Yes. Why? Sherman is A LOT of people's favorite player. He's easily my favorite Seahawk next to Kam.
I think you're just a little too involved here.

I have always preferred Rachel Nichols myself. She is beautiful and has some great curves. I don’t see the fuss with the 2 skinny and no curves of Erin.

You are no dummy if you went to Stanford LOL. It's called a football scholarship. You could barely be able to phrase a sentence and if you're Good enough you get a free ride.

You dummy. Sherman has gotten good grades throughout Highschool (4.1 GPA), which allowed him access to Stanford. He could have attend Stanford without a football scholarship. Besides, which as many billionaires Stanford churns out each decade (see: Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Evan Spiegal to name a few), they might be able to operate without a football program all together.
First of all you cant get recruited if you don't have the grades and even after the scholarship offer yours grades and test scores have correlate with the schools acceptance program...sincerly a college athlete @dbreien83080
