Bruce, Johnny Depp didn't try to introduce any of those things, Amber's team filed Motions in Limine(sp). They never asked to introduce any of that stuff, Amber filed motions to exclude those things because she thought they would try to introduce them into evidence.

Watched a breakdown from one of the Law Tubers and they thought that the motion was disingenuous because Depp never moved to introduce the nudes or the escort info. The motion by AH was submitted a week after JD submitted submitted his evidence and none of those things were in what he submitted. I think it was Peter Tragos but not certain. Either way, the point was made that she was the one who introduced nudes and escort info etc via her OWN motion because JD's team never brought it up. Also the info in the Daily Beast is inaccurate in several areas. It's clear that their reporter did not watch the trial. Natalie Lawyer Chick did a rundown on their disinformation. MSM is not doing us any favours with the reporting in this case.

The nudes were to show there were no marks or bruises on A.H and the reality show had a scene where Whitney was all bruised up accusing A.H of attacking her.
It's not that Johnny WANTED to submit the photos and her stripper/escort history, it was a PREEMPTIVE move by Amber to make sure they didn't get in.
Nobody want to see her dirty secret being exposed as our eyes would burn away! She's a ugly harpy behind all these clothes and such evidence would be too risky for our poor eyes!
Even several years ago when it all started, I knew something wasn't right about Amber's claims. All of Johnny's ex-wives were defending him and I thought *that alone* had to mean *something* because abusers often have a history.
Johnny side didn't want to enter that stuff. Fast @$$ AH team struck a premptive strike to block just in case Johnny team wanted them to be admitted which they didn't which means AH self snitched 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭

I think it was more than just a preemptive strike. It was also to make Johnny look like a slut-shaming monster.
JD’s team also filed pre-emptive MiL but they were straightforward about it. They tied their anticipatory motions to parts of the record showing Elaine was bringing up evidence or obsessively asking about certain topics in depos or wherever.
Elaine’s motions didn’t provide similar support and instead implied that Johnny had already tried to get most of the more outrageous items in.

It’s hearsay, but we all know she cut his finger. There’s audio from the hospital that was also excluded where you hear her in the background saying, “I didn’t mean to” or something like that.
I think the audio was at the Australia house. They made her pack her shit and leave or she’d have driven him into an institution. They (bodyguards, doctors, etc) even say in the recording that she “knows what she’s doing”. Soooo creepy.
Yes, and it's also clear on the Australia house audio that there's no way she was grievously injured the way she later claimed because you can hear her briskly clomping around. There's also a chilling moment where someone--I think it was Jerry Judge--seems to know she's been making other secret recordings. Thank god for that! The photos proved she was lying, but I think it was hearing the way they talked to each other that made it clear who the real abuser was.
Here is what Depp's lawyer stated in their court filing: Ms. Heard's Motion in Limine No. 6 should be at least partially denied, and the Court should reserve its decision on the remaining issues until such time as the evidence (if any) is presented (which at this stage is believed unlikely on most of the issues covered by the Motion). Mr. Depp does NOT currently anticipate introducing evidence of (1) nude pictures of Amber Heard (though it is possible to envision a scenario in which such photographs might become very relevant in the context of this case, for instance to show a lack of visible injuries, as a result of which the Court should not finally resolve this issue in limine); (2) Whitney Henriquez's past romantic relationships prior to 2011; or (3) Ms. Heard's stint as a stripper or rumors that she was an escort early in her career (and it should be noted that Ms. Heard has not cited any exhibits on Mr. Depp's exhibit list that relate to those issues). However, Mr. Depp reserves the right to use such materials to the extent that they become necessary on rebuttal, and in any event, trial is a fluid process, and these issues are all at least potentially relevant and should be reserved for final decision at trial.

JD replied, "Hell No, I swear I will never tell anyone"..AH told her team that JD knew abt her past..AH's team did not want JD's team to possibly bring it up...JD has more Class & it's NOT Relative!! JD's Attorney's did not ever request to introduce what AH's prevoius job was to the Court..AH's Attys mentioned Marilyn Manison's name atleast a Trillion times in the VA trial..I kept waiting for a M.Manson concert each day! We All knw why AH's team mentioned MM any chance they cld..duh!!

I felt throughout the whole trial that AH and her team just wanted to destroy JD’s reputation more and more instead of proving their “truth”. With the photos of him sleeping or passed out, talking about his drug and alcohol addiction,etc. now with these documents unsealed I clearly can see this was all about shaming him. Like how is impotence connected to the DV? And she won’t stop.

Although related and like AH, most people use the words synonymously, they are different and have different level of gravity. Erectile Dysfunction, at JD's age, with his workload, drug and alcohol abuse and his toxic romantic relationship is more than expected, if it wouldn't exist, he would be a medical miracle. That, however, doesn't excuse, worst becomes even sicker, the not so subtle attempt to attack him as a man and shame him further

Clip of Whitney (Ambers sister) is of Whitney talking to a couple girls and the girls are all asking if it’s true that Amber beat Whitney up and why Whitney doesn’t fight back. Interesting stuff, but definitely paints a worse picture for Amber.
You know what drives me crazy? In articles, when they write, “the 21 jump street alum” and then “the star of Edward Scissorhands” and then “the famed Pirate.” Why can’t they just say JOHNNY?? They do it for every actor/actress and I find it sooooo dumb. They’ll dig DEEP, too, just to find different pieces of work that person was in. WHY?!? Just SAY THEIR NAME! I don’t get it!!
If I recall correctly as it’s been 20 yrs since I took high school journalism, I think it has to do with journalism itself. They have to use their work when talking about them.
@@AliPi7 You are correct. A rule of journalism, and specifically if there is a photo to caption is to add as much information as possible. So just saying "johnny" is not as informative as possible. They could also use circumstantial things, like what role they play in this situation (as in, who is the defendant, etc...) or even where they are geographically.
@@AliPi7 it just drives me nuts. I don’t know why, but I just find it so dumb and unnecessary. It really doesn’t tell us anything about that person… If the article is talking about two or more people, it can get a bit confusing if you’re unfamiliar with the actor or the movie, because then you don’t know which person they’re talking about. I don’t know, I just wish they would say “Johnny” or “Depp” instead.

I love your videos but this really bummed me out. You read the article but not the documents. I understand that it’s A LOT and you don’t have time. However these are all debunked in the responses from JD’s lawyers.
They absolutely didn’t want to submit nudes- they wanted to reserve the right to show them as impeachment evidence if she mentioned injuries on those dates.
The reality show was relevant because ambers sister had a black eye that she and her friends said came from amber and it was to prove that Whitney is fearful of amber due to lifelong abuse.
They were not interested in mentioning the escorting OR Stripping, however amber wanted to make it look like he was slut shaming her. He never shared that information.

Also if you know someone has nudes of you that could be used in court and go public you may also want to prevent them being used as evidence. I am not taking sides here but think the same benefit of the doubt thought process people are using for Johnny's team should be used for Heard too. I personally feel that we as a society cant help but go too far in either direction and find it hard to remain neutral, especially in cases such as this. Yes those articles are very one sided- so were the pro Depp articles being promoted by the same far right PR team that spreads news for people like trump and alex jones, that's the problem with almost all journalism nowadays, people aren't all good and aren't all bad, there are grey areas everywhere but that's not causing enough division amongst the public to spark comments and debates so they have to lean to one side

These are not the actual court papers. These are newspaper reports cited out of context. If you, as an attorney, are going to comment, I would expect you to read the actual court document. They are available online, you don't even have to pay the court's copy fees.
I don't see how him having "erectile dysfunction" is relevant and I've never heard of people that suffer erectile dysfunction being more prone to commit DV than any other person. But as far as him having erectile dysfunction, I almost GUARANTEE that it's not really ED but more of a self-induced or temporary ED caused by his heavy opiate usage. Opiates are known for making it very hard to become around or be able to "get off". His drug use was heavily referred to throughout the trial, and that is likely just another side effect.

A) also inc in the docs are JDs team never intended to introduce any of the nude photos etc. at no time are they able to cite any exhibit etc
B) that any accusation/anything can be introduced in a motion whether true or false. This is a celebrity trial and the idea that perhaps certain things (ED for example) were mentioned solely for the purpose of besmirching character.
I’m glad that finally for all the persons that shaded me ……she had suspended DL in 2009 and caused a car accident that ended up killing her friend. Manslaughter,arrested for the DV of her wife, that’s 2 arrests then if tables were laid right she would have been arrested in Australia which they are looking at charging her for GLASSING…meaning cutting off his finger. Johnny had more than enough evidence to go to police and have criminal abuse charges laid, as well as extortion on top of the defamation. He obviously has a lot of class considering he only launched a civil suit against her, since if it was a criminal case she could likely be in jail. She should really be thanking Johnny that he only took it this far.

Why are you reading a newspaper and not the unsealed documents? You're taking the news at it's word when there has been a terrible bias this entire time.
I really like your analysis and comments on the different cases you present, you're one of my favorites, thanks for you hard work. But this time I have to give my opinion on this in particular. The report you read was made by MSM, and they reported those incidents in Amber's favor. The actual unsealed documents show what really happened. You have to read about the unsealed copies of the real documents, not what MSM published, because they are lying on behalf of AH. It's the same as they have been doing since before, during and after the JD trial (they refuse to accept the truth). I had the opportunity to hear from some lawyers the analysis of some of those unsealed papers and I realized what MSM has been doing is trying to discredit JD's victory even with those documents.

JD team never moved to introduce those items in and AH team filed to make sure that JD didn't try. JD didn't intend to introduce that stuff at all. I see this as either they are so slimy to try to strike below the belt so they expect JD team to as well. Or they did it so that when the docs were unsealed they could twist it to say JD was low enough to do this. AH team even went as far as bringing JD's ED as another reason he was abusive. His ED is completely natural for a man his age and for a man that has a wife like that. ED can be caused by stress and with the abuse he received from her, he had every right to be stressed. There is also a recording of her trying to force him to have seggs with her. Also, how much she spreads herself out to many/several/a lot/too many/etc. men and women. Just the thought of being married to a woman whose count is approaching that of a professional is enough for some men to deflate.
I have only heard a few pages into this 6000+ book and from the little I have seen and heard, it is clear why Elaine still wanted so many of the docs to remain sealed.
They didn't plan to introduce them but my guess is AH's team didn't want them to use it to claim he never touched her as wouldn't be a mark on her in a preemptive measure to block damning evidence of her lies.

The video of Whitney on the reality show clearly shows her and other participants talking about AH being violent to Whitney and letting her all bruised - so its prove of AH violent behaviour and that whitney lied about it. Also, their past relationships can very well show a patter of behaviour, I can see some relevance on that. I also don't think the texts to MM are relevant, specially considering SHE refused to deliver HER cellphone and text messages. How's that fair? But maybe I'm being biased.
Take this video with a grain of salt. He's reading an article that mischaracterizes the unsealed documents.
Heard filed a PREEMPTIVE motion in order to PREVENT the usage of her "nudes"
Depp filed a response to the motion requesting that the court preserve their right to present evidence that disproves Heard's claims - which is exactly what you point out "Maybe some of the nudes showed AH without any injuries on the same days she claimed to be viciously assaulted". Depp's response specifically states that at that time they were NOT planning to introduce any nudes as evidence, but they should have the right to if it is proper evidence to prove their case.
"Also, their past relationships can very well show a patter of behaviour" true, but these introductions are intentionally limited by the court because (as an unrelated example) just because someone is SOMETIMES a violent drunk doesn't mean they are ALWAYS a violent drunk and IS NOT evidence that they stabbed a woman in the alley behind the bar.
Most of the text presented in court were irrelevant, they were clearly hyperbole and colorful language, no evidence of any action other than venting anger and frustration to trusted confidants that Heard's team intentionally violated.

So far from what I'm reading or hearing on RUclips, a lot of the allegedly sealed evidence comes from the legal team of the defendant
At the end of the trial when they were reading the damages and the jury messed up and left something blank and had to go back and correct it, I feel there was stuff they didn't understand. I think they would have awarded JD more after the compensatory damages were reduced from 5 million to 350k. Too bad they didn't up the damages by 5k. Virginia needs to change that cap in their law.
I agree. If the jury had known about the cap, they would probably have awarded JD more. Virginia needs to change that law, as punitive damages are awarded as punishment. It’s supposed to make an example out of someone and punish them for what they did, since jail time isn’t an option. The lesson won’t be learned if it is just reduced anyway.
Punitive damages basically becomes a message from the jury instead of an actual punishment....

Bruce, from some of the documents I read through on line, I believe those things you mentioned was from Amber's team in Limine. She was afraid that Johnny's lawyers would bring them up.

Those records should have never been unsealed. ED is a private matter. Anyone who's been exposed to the violence AH doled out or had a woman sh*t the bed would be disgusted and shut down.
ED is also SUPER common for people who took as many drugs as him. It doesn't even need to be a permanent issue. I knew a guy who really struggled after a few beers. No beers, no problem.

The only issue (and I knew this would happen) is that people are now cherry picking statements from motions without context or a response from the opposing party to fit their narrative.
Whitney announced at her job after getting off the phone with Amber, “oh my good she cut his finger off”, multiple people at the office heard her say it in the office. They wouldn’t have to testify to what Amber said but they could certainly testify to what they heard Whitney say
The problem is that anything Whitney says about the telephone call is hearsay by definition. She heard a story from Amber, then she repeated her own version of it. There could have been a security camera at the office recording Whitney as she announced this, and it would still be considered hearsay.

Multiple people heard her say “omg she cut his finger off”, that’s all anyone would have to testify to. The fact that at that same time Depp was in Australia with Heard and his finger was severed would just have to be established, the jury could have made the correlation. The conversation that was had on the phone is irrelevant
So nice to hear many good lawyers on utube giving credit deserved to the judge and the court staff on what a good job they did. There was such a tremendous amount of work being done behind the scenes and pre-trial. Then add the challenges of depositions during a time when there was still high covid activity. Im really enjoying the crazy amount of emails and deposition preps pre-trial. Thanks for teaching those of us not educated with the procedures of trials.

They wanted to submit the video from the reality tv show because it shows Amber’s sister discussing a fight she and Amber had that got physical and friends were asking Amber’s sister about the fight and why Amber hit her and she wouldn’t discuss it on camera but she does admit there was a fight. That video directly speaks to the relationship Amber has with her sister, violence between them has been alleged
