+Monkeysee Monkeydo from what I've seen there's no word from him. Not easy being an activist with fame. Michael Jackson and now Prince have paid the price...maybe he's been blackmailed to prevent him responding to the fans with regards to what happened. His music is so powerful I find it hard to believe he's sold his soul to mediocrity. Maybe he has but even if that were the case, we're only human. Let's just be grateful for the beautiful music and let it be a lesson for us as we face the hardships in this life. Peace

It's a variation on an open D tuning. DADF#Bd. I'll let you guys figure out the way to play it by watching the video and using your ears, the way I did. Beautiful song, hope the tuning helps
I really don't get it. I love artists like Xavier Rudd, Matt Corby, Bon Ivor etc. I don't understand why people care that they are not considered main stream. I'm delighted. It means you don't have the idiots that like all the terrible music liking the really good music too. It means that this music can stay pure and untainted. it's fantastic

Nah, it's standard tuning with a capo on the 2nd fret. Or at least that's the way I found it.

Sounded good, though, he only played the 6 standard strings! Could have been any lap steel or guitar. I was looking forward to the use of the whole instrument.
