ZZZ actually reminded me how a gacha game was initially designed to be, casual and time efficient. I have a 9-6 job, I don’t have time to play games all the time. So I actually appreciate how the game utilises simple game mechanics and novel style story telling just enough for me to have fun and not stressed about missing out or learning complicated gameplay mechanics.
I used to work 7:00 ~ 20:30 as a fine dining manager, and still juggling Arknights, HSR, Nikke and Limbus Company, and this is before I mention non-gacha games. Casual design isn't an excuse to create the most braindead combat in an ACTION game.
@@Reiji366gacha dailies are quick to do, can play on phone and usually don't take you too long to do stuffs. I have a 12 hours job as well and I can play GI, HSR and Wuwa on downtime
@@Akua-zg8ru Newer designs are great, but the models are getting out of date at this point, I mean, GI was first developed since early 2017, which was 7 years ago. And you can see the limitation, not much variety, work around still works to keep on reusing but yeah. Best in its time, under standard currently in gacha category of course.

i wouldn't say it's lackluster, it's just simple and efficient but i personally don't find anything new about it. Combat is basically just like hi3 constant button mashing with a bit of gimmick on some characters and parry swap which is similar to SAO kinda, as well as the constant swap ins which is kinda similar to wuwa but u can chain them. 7/10 game imo. Story was pretty fun

I played Zenless Zone Zero for 5 hours straight since it released and I can say due to the large amount of storage it takes I probably won't be able to play in about a year or so unless I get an upgrade but the gameplay was funner than I expected I rlly like Soukaku
Gotta be honest.. I love the visuals, the voice acting, the world concept and all but this is the first ever time that I LITERALLY FELL ASLEEP playing a game. Spent 8+ hours playing it and IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL. So sad to say but this is probably not for me but at least I tried.

I played a few hours still haven't get the 100 pulls. I try not to skip the story and give it a chance. I don't like this 100 free pulls false advertisement, WuWa just give out and no questions ask.The UI is a mess. Trying to find the right key to my ps5 controller. The game is trying so hard to be stylish but failed miserably. TV box really not what I want to play. Combat forcing me to switch characters. bunch of children characters, hoyo really wanna try to get kids' parents pay for their kids' game. The only good thing about it is releasing on PS5 on launch day to my liking. I still deleted the game after that

Huh...id like to say this info is outdated but its only been a day. It seems to punish u for takin breaks just like other gachas. I see the same dailies, i see the same welkin moon stuff and i dont see any extra stamina/battery being stored anywhere...

It just needs to improve. doesn't need a ping system like pgr, but a more unique system because QTE'ing just to parry a boss is not it. and more movesets for each character because i see more reused assets when it came to gameplay.

i played zzz 12hrs today what i can say is its a mid game kazahana right the game will be not a main game for me feels like everything is easy and chill like if you want to take rest or u got tilted in ur main game and want to chill then zzz is to go the combat so easy even u set to challenge mode the arts, music and asmr parry is make me still play the game
I remember WuWa being attacked by hoyotards who said Kuro pushing to release the game early so patch 1.1 wouldnt be clashing with ZZZ's release, that ZZZ would drown WuWa to oblivion. 1-2 weeks before ZZZ's release, hoyo openly announced ZZZ won't punish players for not playing the game daily, and they would add skip button 🤣
I'm gonna try and finish the current story for the game before I fully put my opinion out on it, but if I had to say anything from my 4 hours in the game, I really wanted to like the combat, but after playing Granblue relink, I am very underwhelmed with how 1 dimensional the combat is, there are only like 2 main combos for every character in the game, and I was willing to look past this since the game had the tag teaming esk mechanic with switching to multiple characters at once, but its more of the same and the only reason to use this mechanic is to get more damage off of the enemies that are built like fuckin spongebob with how much they can take, outside of the combat everything else feels like filler for the sake of being filler to pad out a repetitive 5 hour game at best, like I said I'm gonna wait to play through most of the game before I fully have my own thoughts, but as it stands with how I feel currently, its a 7/10, not bad but not great either

I did 6 rerolls for the first 3 accounts; I got Nekomato 😕☹️. For the other 3 accounts, I got units I couldn't care less about. I was hoping one of them would have given me Lycaon or Alexandrina, but they just spit in my face. So far, my experience with the game isn't going well 😅. I must say the game truly is living up to its name. Zzz 😴. I'm not sure why they couldn't let us choose our first S-rank unit guaranteed. Now I need to summon 300 times to get my Guaranteed pick
What you keep to forget in your argumentation for beeing not a good main game is that the game is perfectly designed as maingame for people that only have one or max two hours a day to play a game. ZZZ has the perfect structure for those. I know so many people that dont play Genshin or Wuthering Waves BECAUSE it is way to big and you would never see an end if you only play an hour a day. I think the problem is, if an open world is that big and you dont have time to play that much, you dont get the feeling of meaningful progression, therefore it frustrates and you quit or you dont event start the game. I dont know if ZZZ will be my main game but i suspect that ZZZ will attract many that are not able to play that much.. and be honest, those who dont have much time are mostly people that are working very hard and/or have family to care for... so you can say some of them will have the money to cash into the game or / and want to get the most out of their limited gaming time and are willing to pay more for it. And just the feeling of clearing 2 or 3 missions in your gaming sessions makes you feel way more satisfied then playing an hour in an open world not clearly knowing if you made any meaningful progress.
bruh, i only play WuWa less than 2 hours on average (only playing many hours everyday for the first week of release), still can clear all Hologram difficulty 6, i only fully built 3 DPS that i want (Encore, Yinlin and Rover), i barely farming echoes and rerolling substats, just do some exploration everyday (i already 100% all of it now) and i dont have any problem at all the only time i spend more than 2 hours playing is just retrying Hologram many times when i feel like to do it game did not forcing you to spend hours and hours daily to play it
@@alfianx1819 I never said nobody with limited time does play games with explorationfocus and bigger open worlds. Its just that many of them will be atteacted to a Mission based concept. The other way around not everybody with more time would play a Game like Genshin either. The own preference weights still more than the time you have. It just depends on if you get more satisfied with closed missions or the thrill if you found something cool in an open World
I think this game is made for ppl that prefers story. The story telling is really cool. I love it. It’s a very casual afame and yeah, the tv thing is really annoying.

my thoughts on playing its super confusing the combat is good but there are lot additional stuff beside the combat and story is so confusing and boring if you want some action or just want to skip there is option but if you have played it the maze is super confusing sometimes it takes a lot of time doing that oh yea it the same concepts as honkai impact.
It's hard to enjoy this game when you've played PGR, I'm not hating on ZZZ, the animations and model looks fantastic, It's just, comparing this to PGR and even HI3's combat it just feels a little too ordinary.
I mean that's partially because the others have had like... Almost a decade of development post-launch, tbef. I tried to play hi3, but it was so bad in terms of how it's aged presentation wise it was hard for me to get into. Plus, just... So much stuff piled up
@@RyzardPart 2 has better presentation than part 1. Ironically every other game Hoyo made only served to improve Honkai impact 3rd (in terms of story presentation or design choices) which i find it quite funny
Played for a few hours, still not getting free pulls. The entire UI seems ways too messy to me. Playing on PS5 and trying to guess what the icon means on button. TV box is not my favorite. Action combat without jump is hilarious in 2024. I'm fine without air skills but even ff14 an 11 years old game have a jump button or WoW 20yo got a jump button, really? And I wanna switch characters only to my liking, why zzz forcing me to switch switch switch. Also the characters have so many children. It seems like Hoyo wanna cater the kids to play their game and swipe their parents' money. Graphic and arts are good and probably the only good thing about the game for me. Also it's great that the game has console release on launch day. I've already uninstalled, it's mainly due the characters. In the other hand I'm actually relief that the game turns out not my type, I barely have time for 4th gacha game. Edited : grammar and spelling
I think all of the budget and effort went in graphics and arts lol. Which I do admit, the quality is insanely good one of if not the best from a gacha game, the "map" more like a lobby is also very detailed, I think they nailed the style they are going for. No open world = more time to polish animation and mini map? Shocker! But well... that's all the good stuff about zzz.

ill treat this game absolutely casual and staying f2p until the end of its honeymoon phase. ive already unlocked the dailies and spend resin when needed, and now at chp 2 and only take my time for the game when i feel like it. it fits kinda nicely since a lot of my other gachas are at its downtime phase anyways.
The game was at a staggering 57GB to download, not to mention the future upcoming updates. Now that makes me question at approximately how many gigabytes of data will this game have by the end of ZZZ
Well, I started playing the game and i'm enjoying it so far. N yes I agree it's seems to require less grinding n that's perfect for me a casual player who plays these games mostly on weekends when I have nothing to do, doesn't overheat my phone and has a better story than Wuwa n story is very important to me. Its okay if others don't enjoy it. But I absolutely love the game
Love the game so far, enjoying the combat, story, characters, i can tell where some problems will be but hey its a game that i enjoy a lot so far. (it hit more buttons then wuwa honestly so im happy, sorry wuwa fans the amount of rewards and good combat could not make me stay after that horrendous launch)

it seems lots of games that are released by bigger companies are always very advertised strongly and yet they fail, like squad busters by supercell and ZZZ, l love both games and just don't understand why people don't like them.
I was actually interested in playing it but damn the open of the game was such a bore. Even Wuthering Waves kept me entertained & that story was horrible. It reminded of damage sponge enemies from Destiny. I'll just keep playing Guardian Tales, Wuthering Waves, Honaki Starrail & Snowbreak. F2P
Enemies being sponges in the opening mission sucked, but the story and world design (design in general) mogged on wuwa so hard man. It just makes me sad how mid most of the design in wuwa is, because I was really hopeful for that world.

If hoyoverse could save StarRail from the barren post release patches, they probably can do the same with ZZZ if the amount of content is deemed insuficient. My guess is that they might employ a similar strategy and see which niche on the Market the game ends up falling into.

It's really just a dumbed down HI3 which is wild cause HI3 is already pretty repetitive but it's more difficult, sucks cause ZZZ looks so great but the combat ain't it man, the lack of jump and aerial stuff is extremely disappointing.
Hi3 doesn't have jump or aerial combat until part 2 launched tho. Like most of the Valkyries don't have that mechanic. Haven't played ZZZ cuz no storage (why the hell is the game so large, man) so i can only see from other people's gameplay of the game

Huh...id like to say this info is outdated but its only been a day. It seems to punish u for takin breaks just like other gachas. I see the same dailies, i see the same welkin moon stuff and i dont see any extra stamina/battery being stored anywhere...

It just needs to improve. doesn't need a ping system like pgr, but a more unique system because QTE'ing just to parry a boss is not it. and more movesets for each character because i see more reused assets when it came to gameplay.

Less reused assets, from what I can tell, especially in the environments. Plus high quality video cutscenes that aren't short.

i played zzz 12hrs today what i can say is its a mid game kazahana right the game will be not a main game for me feels like everything is easy and chill like if you want to take rest or u got tilted in ur main game and want to chill then zzz is to go the combat so easy even u set to challenge mode the arts, music and asmr parry is make me still play the game
Hsr is where hoyo do their sh*tpost, so zzz is either the flex or the newest child with kiddie gloves that can be taken off if we beg it 😂
I remember WuWa being attacked by hoyotards who said Kuro pushing to release the game early so patch 1.1 wouldnt be clashing with ZZZ's release, that ZZZ would drown WuWa to oblivion. 1-2 weeks before ZZZ's release, hoyo openly announced ZZZ won't punish players for not playing the game daily, and they would add skip button 🤣

I'm gonna try and finish the current story for the game before I fully put my opinion out on it, but if I had to say anything from my 4 hours in the game, I really wanted to like the combat, but after playing Granblue relink, I am very underwhelmed with how 1 dimensional the combat is, there are only like 2 main combos for every character in the game, and I was willing to look past this since the game had the tag teaming esk mechanic with switching to multiple characters at once, but its more of the same and the only reason to use this mechanic is to get more damage off of the enemies that are built like fuckin spongebob with how much they can take, outside of the combat everything else feels like filler for the sake of being filler to pad out a repetitive 5 hour game at best, like I said I'm gonna wait to play through most of the game before I fully have my own thoughts, but as it stands with how I feel currently, its a 7/10, not bad but not great either
ZZZ is literally something I'd call a semi-idle "action" game because you can play it one-handed on the challenging mode while watching RUclips.

I tried playing zenless zone zero but that game kept crashing
I did 6 rerolls for the first 3 accounts; I got Nekomato 😕☹️. For the other 3 accounts, I got units I couldn't care less about. I was hoping one of them would have given me Lycaon or Alexandrina, but they just spit in my face. So far, my experience with the game isn't going well 😅. I must say the game truly is living up to its name. Zzz 😴. I'm not sure why they couldn't let us choose our first S-rank unit guaranteed. Now I need to summon 300 times to get my Guaranteed pick
What you keep to forget in your argumentation for beeing not a good main game is that the game is perfectly designed as maingame for people that only have one or max two hours a day to play a game. ZZZ has the perfect structure for those. I know so many people that dont play Genshin or Wuthering Waves BECAUSE it is way to big and you would never see an end if you only play an hour a day. I think the problem is, if an open world is that big and you dont have time to play that much, you dont get the feeling of meaningful progression, therefore it frustrates and you quit or you dont event start the game. I dont know if ZZZ will be my main game but i suspect that ZZZ will attract many that are not able to play that much.. and be honest, those who dont have much time are mostly people that are working very hard and/or have family to care for... so you can say some of them will have the money to cash into the game or / and want to get the most out of their limited gaming time and are willing to pay more for it. And just the feeling of clearing 2 or 3 missions in your gaming sessions makes you feel way more satisfied then playing an hour in an open world not clearly knowing if you made any meaningful progress.
This is exactly why Ill drop wuwa for this. Hoyo know how to time game releases well. Genshin was perfect for covid cuz everyone was stuck at home
bruh, i only play WuWa less than 2 hours on average (only playing many hours everyday for the first week of release), still can clear all Hologram difficulty 6, i only fully built 3 DPS that i want (Encore, Yinlin and Rover), i barely farming echoes and rerolling substats, just do some exploration everyday (i already 100% all of it now) and i dont have any problem at all
the only time i spend more than 2 hours playing is just retrying Hologram many times when i feel like to do it

@@alfianx1819 I never said nobody with limited time does play games with explorationfocus and bigger open worlds. Its just that many of them will be atteacted to a Mission based concept. The other way around not everybody with more time would play a Game like Genshin either. The own preference weights still more than the time you have. It just depends on if you get more satisfied with closed missions or the thrill if you found something cool in an open World

my thoughts on playing its super confusing the combat is good but there are lot additional stuff beside the combat and story is so confusing and boring if you want some action or just want to skip there is option but if you have played it the maze is super confusing sometimes it takes a lot of time doing that oh yea it the same concepts as honkai impact.
It's hard to enjoy this game when you've played PGR, I'm not hating on ZZZ, the animations and model looks fantastic, It's just, comparing this to PGR and even HI3's combat it just feels a little too ordinary.
I mean that's partially because the others have had like... Almost a decade of development post-launch, tbef.
I tried to play hi3, but it was so bad in terms of how it's aged presentation wise it was hard for me to get into. Plus, just... So much stuff piled up
@@RyzardPart 2 has better presentation than part 1. Ironically every other game Hoyo made only served to improve Honkai impact 3rd (in terms of story presentation or design choices) which i find it quite funny
Played for a few hours, still not getting free pulls. The entire UI seems ways too messy to me. Playing on PS5 and trying to guess what the icon means on button.
TV box is not my favorite. Action combat without jump is hilarious in 2024. I'm fine without air skills but even ff14 an 11 years old game have a jump button or WoW 20yo got a jump button, really? And I wanna switch characters only to my liking, why zzz forcing me to switch switch switch. Also the characters have so many children. It seems like Hoyo wanna cater the kids to play their game and swipe their parents' money.
Graphic and arts are good and probably the only good thing about the game for me. Also it's great that the game has console release on launch day. I've already uninstalled, it's mainly due the characters. In the other hand I'm actually relief that the game turns out not my type, I barely have time for 4th gacha game.

Which I do admit, the quality is insanely good one of if not the best from a gacha game, the "map" more like a lobby is also very detailed, I think they nailed the style they are going for. No open world = more time to polish animation and mini map? Shocker! But well... that's all the good stuff about zzz.

ill treat this game absolutely casual and staying f2p until the end of its honeymoon phase. ive already unlocked the dailies and spend resin when needed, and now at chp 2 and only take my time for the game when i feel like it. it fits kinda nicely since a lot of my other gachas are at its downtime phase anyways.

Well, I started playing the game and i'm enjoying it so far. N yes I agree it's seems to require less grinding n that's perfect for me a casual player who plays these games mostly on weekends when I have nothing to do, doesn't overheat my phone and has a better story than Wuwa n story is very important to me.

Love the game so far, enjoying the combat, story, characters, i can tell where some problems will be but hey its a game that i enjoy a lot so far. (it hit more buttons then wuwa honestly so im happy, sorry wuwa fans the amount of rewards and good combat could not make me stay after that horrendous launch)

it seems lots of games that are released by bigger companies are always very advertised strongly and yet they fail, like squad busters by supercell and ZZZ, l love both games and just don't understand why people don't like them.
I was actually interested in playing it but damn the open of the game was such a bore. Even Wuthering Waves kept me entertained & that story was horrible.
It reminded of damage sponge enemies from Destiny.

Enemies being sponges in the opening mission sucked, but the story and world design (design in general) mogged on wuwa so hard man. It just makes me sad how mid most of the design in wuwa is, because I was really hopeful for that world.

ZZZ is fun for what i've played, and when i wanna play something else i can go play league with friends, go play persona 5 if i'm alone or any other of the other games i have on steam... Mobile Game, and the big names is a lot of game yes but please go and check the other game you may found a gem that you can spend thousand of hours for 20 to 40$.

If hoyoverse could save StarRail from the barren post release patches, they probably can do the same with ZZZ if the amount of content is deemed insuficient. My guess is that they might employ a similar strategy and see which niche on the Market the game ends up falling into.
The thing is, for me this game is advertised as a combat oriented game for the combat enjoyers, but there's just too much yapping for it to be so.

Nope its not the content. Its definitely the only game that doesnt want to launch XD. I could atleast run gta v at 12 frames. While this game just shuts itself down cuz it forces you to go for higher graphics. Plus its game engine is Unity

I just set genshin now to exe so i dont have to use the horrid mihoyo launcher (or install the shit game by accident).
It's really just a dumbed down HI3 which is wild cause HI3 is already pretty repetitive but it's more difficult, sucks cause ZZZ looks so great but the combat ain't it man, the lack of jump and aerial stuff is extremely disappointing.
Hi3 doesn't have jump or aerial combat until part 2 launched tho. Like most of the Valkyries don't have that mechanic.
Haven't played ZZZ cuz no storage (why the hell is the game so large, man) so i can only see from other people's gameplay of the game
