    Had the same issue on a 2017 Edge. Ended being broken wire in the short harness going to the LR parking brake motor. Thanks for making this video!!

    My 2018 f150 just did the same exact thing today. My truck lost power it was like the parking brake got stuck when I took off from parking which was weird because I didn’t turn on the parking brake but I got the same codes you just showed on that expedition. Seems to be working now but the check engine light remains on. Any suggestions?

      Please man please tell me what did you do because I have a 2018 F150 just like you describe my truck lost power and the pedal is stuck in this video help you????…. What did you do to get the brake pedal unstuck?

    Hello. Do I have to put the park brake on maintenance mode before I pull the wiring harness and after I solder it and put it back on, do I need to recalibrate or reset something? Cheers

      Maintenance mode is only needed if you’re removing the brake pads or caliper. You shouldn’t need to put it into or take it out of maintenance mode.

    I am having a big problem with the collision’s indicator on my dashboard.l indicator on the dashboard l have 2021 f 150 this is my third front bumper.This only happens when am going to park The collision come on and of it goes in to the wall.I put my foot on the brake and it just keeps going.l thought first time it was my fault.But the one l know not my fault.l was in the underground parking at the hospital for a to have to am doctor .l turned in to a the parking place the collision sign come l had my foot the as turned l keep foot on the brake but it keeps going.This is 2021 hybrid .This time the air bag came out .l have to pick it up next week time .l have drive it home l am ,75 miles to my house.l am frightened that this will happen on my way home and maybe kill someone or my self.lt has never happened at highway speeds when l brake.The three time it did it was very wet out .

    Thanks for the vid, I had the exact same issue. I think they are make the bend to tight and the wires to stuff. Someone else repaired it before me and it did failed again. Worst thing that happens is you loose the cruise control, 300 miles without cruise sucked.

      I agree. They have to bend back and forth in the same spot all time. It’s a problem.

      I believe that one was a broken wire that needed repaired on the rear control arm

    Does the same error message display when battery is dying? Seems to be the save in my broken down rental Expedition 😒

      For some reason, yes. I’ve seen a couple F-150 with very low battery’s display this. Fix the power supply and the message was gone

    Disconnect battery prior to harness removal i'd imagine?

      You wouldn’t have to. Those circuits aren’t live with the key off unless someone pushes the parking brake button.

      That’s a good question and shop rates wildly vary depending on region. It’s probably a couple hours diagnosis and repair.
