Hey buddy! I haven't heard anything from you lately so I thought I'd check and see how the helicopters are doing. I hope all is well. The weather is starting to get better here so I'm hoping to get back to practicing. My Trex 500e should still be setup from last year. I maidened my Trex 450 Pro DFC last week, it still needs some adjustments. I also have my Trex 600e Pro DFC that I need to get finished. Take care!!!
The second flight attempt was much better. I'm interested in buying this helicopter for myself. What are your thoughts on the quality of the parts? I'm going to subscribe to your channel because I'd like to see your videos on this helicopter.
I totally agree with you. The overall quality of the kit was way better than i expected. Quality feels really good actually. Only thing I'm a little sceptic about is the swashplate, which many seems to have problems with. I'm going to do a few flights with the stock swashplate, but then im going to change it to an align dfc swash as a precaution. Safety first... :)

***** Pleasure is on my side mate! I've read about some swashplates coming apart in-flight, which seems really worrying. To be honest, i dont think that it's the swashplate that is failing, but the person who build it. When i look at the swash and feel it, it seems pretty darn solid to me, even though it's a little thin in some places. Just so you know, the next video will be made the weekend After the next, as I wont be home this weekend. Just so you know i havent forgotten to make the video ;)
I have to agree with you about the swashplate and some of these other helicopters. I really don't think that's the "fault" is with the helicopter nor the part. I think the fault would be the builder. I also think that "proof" of that would be your helicopter. It seems that you have it pretty well sorted out. Thanks again for the reply. I will look for your next video. Take care buddy!
Hello! I'm using a gv8000 gyro, which is a direct copy of the mini vbar. It had the pro-software already preinstalled (v5.3.x pro), so i can run the heli with the build in governor, which seem to work really good!
Hey don't beat yourself up that was a damn good hover I think something went haywire with the tail but other than that you had that bird going. I got the same one or should I say I bought the same one a couple of months ago and I'm using the i k o n gyro. Helis and cold weather with Lipos are tempermental. I find with my planes. Just started my build and find most people are changing the gears to Align
I think the swash problems are a result of the crash not the cause
