You just had the once in a lifetime opportunity to drive Porsche’s best RS cars in modern history back-to-back. Please do a video where you rank each one in performance and fun factor! After having an opportunity like this, I really want to see an analysis, since most reviews don’t have the perspective of comparing each model to each other in the way you can with this drive event. Please make a post-analysis video!
@@troyjollimore4100 That’s because those posers can’t really handle Manuel’s much larger, and more fun, stick. Petey K.’s speed advantage simply means the fun is over sooner
@@Polychromophilia We've seen much of this thing before, especially on Top Gear. Put a 'decent' driver in a car like that GT2 RS, and they can pretty much keep up with a 'race' driver in a lesser car. Though I'm sure Matt would probably make more mistakes going all-out. The allure of the older car is that it takes talent to drive them like that. Newer cars can pretty much be pointed in a general direction, and 'just go'...
@@enfantterrible4868 ...and I made my comment fully realizing that, though the 2RS is no slouch. You have one car that can make up 2 seconds in the corners, and another that makes those 2 seconds back on the straights... It takes a good driver to corner fast, while ANYONE can drive fast in a straight line. ;)
You can really tell in the video how much faster this car is then the other ones he was driving. You can also tell how smooth it puts the power down. Great video series Matt!
If you watched all the videos you could really see how much faster this car was than the rest of them and it seemed just as dialed if not more so in the corners. Awesome series Matt
Hey Matt, I'm a new sub after finding you from PKA (Amazing PKA episode btw you are a top tier guest!). Really loving watching your videos, I am so engrossed into them, this mini series from the Porsche Experience Centre has been amazing to watch, feel privileged just to be able to watch you drive these sick cars. Hope you had a great Birthday, looking very forward to your next videos. - Jake. :) 👌
Thanks Matt, I'm shopping new 911's and found your reviews and impressions really helpful. PS, my friend worked with your dad and has nothing but kind words for the man.
I mean for context, matt was always so far behind the captain in all the other cars. This is the only car he was easily catching up to him and hes not even trying. Crazy
I have seen The 911 R video and this one. The 911 R is the one to have, even at slower speeds it’s exciting to drive, you can use the car, this GT2 you need specific tracks to use it. The R seems fun on B roads. But GT2 is a engineering marvel!
love this series theres a very yellow one in my area and it looks mental can't wait to see how they top this maybe one day the roadgoing 911 will finally embrace an actual mid engine, like the RSR
It's startling how quick these GT2RS cars are, and the consistency at which they'll rack off acceleration runs is simply stunning...oh yeah, and they handle pretty good too, ha ha!
You can really tell how much faster this car is than the other 911's Matt drove on this track by how much smaller the gap is between him and the lead car.
@@dudeonbike800 The irony is that Manthey-Racing is a factory supported team for Porsche's Junior Team. It's pretty cool that Manthey can modify your Porsche and it still honors Porsche's factory warranty.
Best to last! I have a real soft spot for GT Porsches I hope one day one will grace my channel for now i'm sticking down the lower end....much much lower! LOL!
It seems like yesterday when the channel was not even close to 1 million subs . Actually it was just a few weeks ago; funny how that works, especially when the content has been getting more repetitive and less engaging for quite some time . As for this Porsche comparison - what on earth ? A marketing event on a mickey mouse track, with slightly adjusted commentary for basically the exact same footage for all the cars ? Well, however got you the extra subs, it was worth the money, I guess .

Not the final! The 992 Gt3 is the 6th car he tested!
Matt needs to find his way to Germany next year (COVID permitting) and get a ride with Robert in his GT2 RS MR on the Nordschleife.

good ol' Petey Kay. Nobody likes him, but he shifts faster than you
Nobody likes him ? It's the best dual clutch there is, everyone likes it...
Everyone likes Petey Kay because everyone buys him. In reality almost nobody likes Manuel.
@@Official_MikeyT Well, no. Manuel is all anyone ever talks about, but Petey's the one they're comfortable taking home and living with every day...
this comment right here 😂

Fellow headphones users: I love that the rumble strips make Matt sound bass boosted. It's like a meme every few seconds.
Looks like that GT3 RS was finally holding Matt up a little bit
Shawn is probably driving 6.5/10. Would be interesting to see if Matt could catch him if he were driving 8/10 or above.
I'm sure Shawn wasn't going 10/10ths.

Thank you Matt for letting us ride shotgun in some beautiful German hardware that many of us will never afford the chance to ride in/drive otherwise.
4:45 he's driving so fast "just can't do anything about it" haha
So are you gonna do a recap about which one you like the most and in what situation?
That green looks incredible. Awesome car!
If you watched all the videos you could really see how much faster this car was than the rest of them and it seemed just as dialed if not more so in the corners. Awesome series Matt
This track seems like it would be a blast in a slower hot hatch type car!
I have a manual and I know I can’t shift faster than the PDK , it really is the best dual clutch transmission and the fastest way around the track
This series was probably my favorite series I’ve seen on your channel. Awesome content! Keep up the great work
Great series of videos! Love how Porsche brought over all those special cars! Share the #PorschePassion
Five of the best cars ever made! Vary well narrated and driven by Matt.
Matt, this mini serie was amazing, more of this please!
When is the gt2 touring coming out?
Here’s the important question, what kind of sandwich did they give you?
Man that looks fast, was eating up the gap to the 3RS.
Congrats for this Porsche series Matt! Felt like an early christmas present :D
Quickest: Acceleration. Fastest: Velocity. God bless your smart head, Matt.

Love that experienced lead driver.Makes me want to try it !
There's a few places that will fulfill that desire, for not even a 'lot' of money, really...
Today I've matched my Kermet Rolex with the Porsche GT2RS
video or it didn't happen

I throughly ENJOYED these Porsche videos! Thank you for these!
Happy bday Matt! Lots of achievements for a 39 yr old dude
I mean for context, matt was always so far behind the captain in all the other cars. This is the only car he was easily catching up to him and hes not even trying. Crazy
Looked like you had more fun in the R 😉
I waited 4 days to peacefully sit down and watch Matt's "take" .
This man deserves more cars as soon as they are released.
It better be impressive! !! Let's get a shot of that window sticker !!!!😄😄😄😄😄😎😎😎😎🍺🍺🍺🍺
It’s incredible how HUGE these 911s have gotten over the last few years especially when you see them in person. They look massive!
Really made Sean put in some hot laps on this one! Wow that cars fast! Really enjoyed this series
Thanks Matt! Loved this series and what a treat for you on your Bday!
That color combo!!! ❤❤❤

Meanwhile I'm just here with my 987.1 like "I hope I don't bore score soon...." These cars are pretty absurd compared to my Porsche experience, haha.
The GT2RS is a track animal
love this series
theres a very yellow one in my area and it looks mental

My favourite car of all time, just not that colour, I’ll take a silver one please Santa..
Happy Christmas 🎄
This car is an absolute monster
It's startling how quick these GT2RS cars are, and the consistency at which they'll rack off acceleration runs is simply stunning...oh yeah, and they handle pretty good too, ha ha!
That color with those wheels is just perfect
I heard from Porsche that they've built over 3,000 of them worldwide, perhaps 1k for US market only
Best color ever for any sports car, hands down....
Great video series Matt! The GT2 is wicked!
Yeah, but what about the 999-GTRLS-687-LMKB?
Great videos Matt, great to see cars being pushed to their potential
You can really tell how much faster this car is than the other 911's Matt drove on this track by how much smaller the gap is between him and the lead car.
Man, you need a faster track for a GT2 RS. It is so wickedly fast.
Bet you were hoping for a bigger track for this bad boy. I'll have to go watch some at Road America.
Happy birthday Matt
This lead-follow is ridiculous. The GT2' is breathing down the GT3's neck at every corner lol
The only car that Matt could keep up with lead car... kinda lol 😆
Is it just me or did it seem like they did a lot more laps in the same amount of time as all of the other cars?? Sheesh!! What a machine!👌🏽🔥🔥😍😍
5 dream drives, awesome series Matt
Porsche content back to back? Ohhhh yes!
Happy belated birthday. Great content as always.
What a series! Thx Matt great late Chanukah gift
I’m on a Porsche overload and I’m loving it!
Outstanding series, Matt!
The guy doing the lead here is very good.
happy birthday Matt.what a machine 🤙💪🍺
Love the color and sound of this car!
holy shit that’s the porsche track by the ikea
Happy birthday!
My favourite car of this era, It's an 11 out of 10 from me, a perfect car.
Surprised they didn't have the Manthey Racing version.
These are Andreas Preuninger's personal cars, so of course he wouldn't own one modified by a non-Porsche entity.
@@dudeonbike800 The irony is that Manthey-Racing is a factory supported team for Porsche's Junior Team. It's pretty cool that Manthey can modify your Porsche and it still honors Porsche's factory warranty.
This car has the why-sock package
You're earlier on the brake because its the one car you catch up to the instructor with lol
My favorite gt car
Great video! Love that color. Such a cookie cutter track, can't stretch the legs at all.
looked like an unbelievable time
This series makes it obvious, if you didn't realize already: bless Andreas Preuninger, and bless Matt Farah!
My favorite car! I use a photo of that car, or one just like it, as my screensaver. It's at the top of my list to Santa.
Great series of videos!
What is this a GO KART track? wow tight
Wow this car is amazing! Would love to buy one of these one day!
The 918spyder with cup 2r tires would be faster for sure
hey matt, you just drove a lot of sick porsches. which one was your favorite?!
Belated happy birthday!
Man, that looke like fun!
Wish there was a 918 video

I like the sunglasses
Does this series end with the debut of the 992 GT3? I feel like that's where this should go.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what sunglasses Matt is wearing - I’d love to place an order.

The Whitesock package is a little pricey..
The engine note reminds me the 962, 956, GT1
