You should never buy it in the first place of the intent ever is something else than flat out. There are plenty of slower cars if you don’t have the cojones
I must thank to the driver Christoph because he helped me a lot when I was on Nurburgring last year in August. Check engine light came on my GT86 right on the half of the Nurburgring trip, so I went to Reader motorsport garage and he was the one who put on the diagnostic tool to check if there was anything serious. He was very kind and open, he described what was the problem and didn't want to charge anything for that. So not that he is just a good driver, he is also a very good mechanic and kind person. Thank you again, Christoph.
I really like that semi-transparent view for the tach/speedo. It really gives a video game feel to it and makes all the different video angles fit together better. Great idea!
Agreed! The architecture/layout seems archaic but the engineering is fantastic. I think the king German name placed it as an engineering company which I certainly agree with🎉

You can do something you love thousands of times but only occasionally does it even get to approaching perfect, that must have been 1 of those moments. Dry track day, light traffic, no yellows, 1 MR Porsche and a sub 6.50 BTG. A great day to be and feel alive, I'm jealous I'd love to be in that car for that passenger ride
Very talented driver! You can see at no point did his eyes look directly at the front of his car, always scanning as far as his vision allowed and aiming the car where it needed to go. Give this guy any car and he will be quick! 👏

Love Misha's face light up when he saw the speed going up towards 230. That car is so responsive. Even rides the bumps like 'meh!' Always loved the Porsche RS series.

I had the honor to get 1 lap in this absolute monster of a machine. You can literally feel all wheels through your bum and how the torque is working along the grip limit. The video doesnt really show how the human perception of the track makes it shrink by half, due to the sheer speed. Insanest feeling I ever had.
You were driving so quickly the gauges decides to have a space/time issue like in back to the future with a photo. All you need is doc saying to himself in disbelief, "erased". Seriously impressive ride.

@@XenonArcher He actually used the steep banking to assist his trailbraking. With brakes like those and downforce too that line is indeed fast. Min corner speed of 118 is not bad at all.
Giermaziak and Kubika, Estre et al. are amazing but Christoph looked like he built the car and the track to suit him. So chill and those micro adjustments. Deeply impressed.
If he hadn't met that Porsche GT3 RS after the hairpin that slowed him down, he was beating the record that had been declared by Porsche with that GT2 RS. Realy fast, nice video!
That was BTG time of 6.47 not full lap. Seeing the skills of this driver and corner speed, now imagine professional drivers are 20 seconds faster on recordlaps. It's just insane.

the driver looks like he is enjoying a warm bath and watching the early blooming May flowers in the light of the morning sun, that breaks in the dew on the lush green meadow in glittering splendour.
I can't help but to admit that even though that the racing being done by the gentleman driving here is riveting and makes me at times want to hold on to my office chair, I often found myself staring down at the tac that shows the RPM's and gear they were currently in! The way this car shifts back and fourth, up and down, is nothing short of magic!

Its awesome to see the speeds on the corners and acceleration/braking of such a weapon of a track car. After whaching laps in a 488 Farrari and a Bugatti this 911 GT 2 RS is noticably faster and even at a higher level yet. Even the Rimac Nevera CANNOT touch what this Porsche can do on the Ring.

Wow, never really liked Porsche much. But then my experience comes from pulling them apart and improving the audio systems and trackers. Never really liked the driving position. But then I’ve never driven or been driven in one in anger like that. Into and out of workshops doesnt rally count does it lol, My only ring laps have been on sims, so that definitely shows I know nothing. That looked visceral af, hats off to the chap who pretty much made that car dance ! Bravo. A+ content too !!
Outstanding stuff. Another one of these driving fast but looking so calm and easy behind the wheel. Certainly giving the car some stick but it all just comes across as easy. Apart from some under & over steer moments, there was just some beautiful fast driving.
That thing is so Porsche it just dips into corners at crazy angles like its nothing. I felt the liftoff oversteer uphill at 1:21 in my buttcheeks just watching. Amazing

A sub 6.50 BTG by far!!! If the other guy in Hohe Acht had kept his car out of the way, the BTG time would be closer to 6.40!

he’s the head test driver for manthey racing. it explains why he’s so calm while driving at speeds that us mere mortals would have eyes widen at.
