Thats my trans right there. Transmission is installed on my 07 escalade. Just waiting on the guy to program my new tcm. Excellent work youve done so far david.
Mine just took a shit and I decided to dig in and see if I could fix it thanks to your vids. I lost all forward gears and only have reverse. I tore the valve body apart and pulled out all the check ballz except I was missing one and found it stuck in the gasket! Hoping that this is it. No metal shavings, tranny oil was really good, no stink etc. I bought a new Tehcm and spent the money for the program and just under $800 it wasn't fixed. Hoping this is it. I don't really want to learn to rebuild one of these but I'll give it a go. I just got done with the GMC 3.6 triple timing chain job so I've got a good stomach for there things!

So I am working on a 2007 Yukon Denali 6L80 trans. If it sits for days if shifts just fine. But after a few days of driving it will suddenly stop shifting. It does have a P2723 code. I’m thinking it’s a shift solenoid pack or possibly valve body issue. The trans does not slip. But occasionally when it engages reverse it’s like it slams into reverse from increased line pressure.
