As a Christian, if I see another "Christian" act like this, I would condemn their behavior immediately, then say to the person they're trying to convert "They're wrong. I love you, but more importantly God loves you".

As a Christian, I just try to be a light and a human to everyone. It’s amazing how rare genuine kindness is out there. Too many fake greetings and conversations with the social awkwardness. As a believer of Jesus myself, it's unfortunate so many so-called "Christians" are like this. I can't imagine how many people have been turned away from Jesus because of people like this. We are supposed to represent Jesus in the way Jesus himself acted so as to be the light and be stewards for the kingdom of God. Reality is that people look at "Christians" who misrepresent Jesus rather than Jesus himself, which I can't blame; we are called to represent him on his behalf and God uses people do to great things. What Griffy mocked here: how your life is automatically good if you follow Jesus, and it's shitty if you don't, is mostly false. The narrow path to the kingdom of heaven is supposed to be full of suffering and persecution for the sake of Jesus' name, and it ain't no unicorns, sunshine, rainbow, and cupcakes by any means, but it is all for the greater good of God's plan, and there are far greater, eternal rewards in heaven for those who endure till the end. A lot of times, hardships are to train us and make us grow stronger, and we all know the saying, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." It is true. God does not give us anything we can't handle. It is quite ironic though, that the life as a Christian is in fact the most liberating thing ever, contrary to popular belief. Yes, I mentioned suffering, but on the other hand, if you put your faith in Jesus, you can be set free from literally ANYTHING that was holding you in chains, such as anxiety, fear, addiction, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, etc.; you name it. I've heard myself and seen of others giving such testimonies being freed from all those negative things. YOU ARE FREE IN CHRIST. So please don't be led away and towards hell because of faulty humans who misrepresent Jesus, but get in the word of God and look to Jesus HIMSELF who was faultless and perfect. Jesus loves you, I love you. God bless

I guess you can be a bad person your entire life and just embrace Christianity and accept Jesus into your heart and you will be forgiven and go to heaven but if you're a good person your whole life but don't want to believe in Christianity due to lack of evidence or you choose to believe in a different religion then your soul is going to hell forever after you die. And by the way, there is no evidence for heaven, hell, or souls even existing. This is all made up for all we know due to there being no evidence for any of it besides books talking about it. Yet in today's world there are no prophets because there never were and it's obvious. Prophets don't exist, only charlatans. Christianity is just a cult that preys on people's deepest desires of life after death. It's literally full of lies and common sense should be able to tell you it's only an attempt at knowing a creator. Thats something that always got me with my family always trying to force me into it when i was young like "you aint gonna be happy until you devote your entire life to god or else you goin to hell" like why cant i just focus on myself?
Yeah I had a Christianity recruiter come to my door with his young son and I kid you not, the moment I said I was a Buddhist, the man says, "You're going to hell." I was so stunned that I just looked at the man, then his young son (he had to be in middle school), and back to the man thinking, "Um...I don't think we should be talking about this with your kid right there."
Most religious recruiters are very friendly and pleasant even when I tell them that my spiritual beliefs lie elsewhere. My favorite recruiters were these two old black ladies who always carried a parasol to keep the sun off them. They were so sweet and were so grandmotherly to me. I loved stopping by- sometimes just to chat and other times to answer any questions I came up with. I think they loved picking my brain as much as I did theirs. XD

I'm not Christian, but I respect those who actually respect peoples boundaries and understand that not everyone *has* to believe in their religion. People are free to believe in what they feel is right, and what they want to guide them through life. From my understanding with my dads side being Christian, it was never supposed to be about pushing beliefs onto other people, it was about welcoming people as the children of god. A lot of yall have completely lost the point and are turning it into more of a cult, rather than a religion.

I’d visit my grandfather in the hospital. He would lecture and chastise me on how I was “sitting on the fence” and needed to return to his particular version of God. Years passed and he wondered why his grandkids didn’t visit anymore. Later I learned just how false his cult religion was.
Sorry to hear. Some of us can take things too far. But that’s also because we can sometimes forget the second greatest commandment- to love your neighbor as you would yourself. Or perhaps some of us were never taught that part at all, focusing only on the repentance of sins and forgetting that the fine is already paid and that we should be the example and not the accusers.
By all means, we should watch what we say and do, and turn/repent from what causes us to err, but we have an advocate who will speak for us if we seek to get to know Him.

All that needs to be said is isn’t God’s wish for Christians to forcefully spread the good news. We ask and we speak to those will are willing to listen out of love. Haha as a new believer, i remember those days i would hear something like this and it would draw me away. After I read myself and truly asked God for help, turns out it was true. Christ is the only way. And if you read Christ for yourself, this is not how we spoke to non believers lol.
The intent might be good, but the delivery is bad. And some the intent is bad and delivery is bad.
This would drive me away too, but for all those who truly curious. Dismiss the religion talk, go read Jesus words yourself, and then read from the bible or get in contact with those who will use scripture mainly to explain things and not their own opinions without scripture. As long as they try their hardest to stick to the scripture, you can see for yourself. I had to read the entire bible, and it turns, God is true, and it was very clear from the beginning of time that Jesus is the only way. Hence, the first prophecy God spoke to the serpent in Genesis. Some may feel like I did, that is it blasphemy to worship or believe in someone other than God alone. I remember i did, but God himself forecasts and tells us throughout the whole Old Testament and then again at mount of transfiguration. And all Jesus says is to Love the Father (God) to believe him and believe me (Jesus). So if God tell us to listen to his Son, and his Son tell us to believe in the one who sent him (God) and himself, what’s the problem? And there might be so many questions as to why we need Jesus. And I truly if you read, it all lines up together. He is the gift from God, to reconcile us back to him and forgive us of our sins. It even says that you love God through your faith in Jesus. It’s easy to be offended, but i eagerly urge those to want to know, to go read for yourself and your reward will be great. There’s a lot of things I don’t understand either. All i know is that it says the word was with God was God and became flesh. And if you read what the flesh (Jesus) spoke . Kinda makes it very clear that somehow that man was God in the flesh

I'm Catholic but never knew anyone that act this way at least where i live, Catholics here in Brazil just try to help each other, they don't ask for money but if you want to donate you can, but you can donate in any form you want, don't need to be money the only thing we care is that you help your brothers and sisters no matter what religion, gender etc... ❤️
