I used 1.75 inch taller struts to level my 2016 colorado, and the alignment was pretty close. But you need to get a front-end alignment and re aim your headlights. Also, make sure your tires are not hitting the frame at full turn or fenders.
@@AquinoRejectRides I have a thick plastic spacer for top plus a bushing, according to the directions it goes below the spring and around the strut itself just not sure, it’s called a preload spacer
Just measure the medal of the rear fender from the top to the floor. Then do the same to the front, that should give you the measurement of what you need to level the front.
I put the Rough Country kit I just used the spacer on top of the strut. I took all my measurements on found that all I needed to do is turn both tie rod end one turn out. And now the front end is lined up.

@@billjensen6216 yeah it should be pretty close they recommend to get it aligned. And I think the headlines should be pretty good
Here does the metal bushing go?
@@phynixkates256 are you talking about the metal spacer that sits on top of the strut?
@@AquinoRejectRides I have a thick plastic spacer for top plus a bushing, according to the directions it goes below the spring and around the strut itself just not sure, it’s called a preload spacer
It’s made by rough country
@@phynixkates256 it should just sit on top of the strut. I don't remember what brand of leveling kit I used
@@AquinoRejectRides thank you for saving me a headache
You made this so much easier than other videos
Could I fit 275/65R18 on mine with a leveling kit?
That I'm not sure you might need to do some trimming.
Did you have to get an alignment after the level?
Yes definitely needed
Is that stock blocks?
In the rear?
@@AquinoRejectRides yes
@@DJHARDHITS it's all stock in the rear.

Does the AT4 already have a lift from the factory over the stock model?
No it's all stocks I believe it's just the off-road package with bigger tires.

So on the 2021 you don’t have to compress the coil just place the spacer on top and bolt it back in
That's correct...pretty easy
@@AquinoRejectRides sweet! I just got my 2” rough country today. Gonna install it now got worried for a second about compression the spring
@@cory60 yeah I hear you...👌

The first nut you said to loosen mine just spins? Help
You need to get a long bar put it in between the spring and push down on the upper control arm at the same time you turn the nut.
After installing did you see any change or need for the sway bar drop bracket to keep the same ride
No didn't see any changes just went to go get an alignment done and call it a day

No not at all, they use it daily..

I'm not sure it's a customer truck, I believe there were 31
So u r just leveling the truck?
No not unless its been upgraded
Yes that's it.
